وَ لَوْ رَحِمْناهُمْ وَ كَشَفْنا ما بِهِمْ مِنْ ضُرٍّ لَلَجُّوا فِي طُغْيانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

و لو رحمناهم و كشفنا ما بهم من ضرّ للجّوا في طغيانهم يعمهون

Walaw rahimnahum wakashafna ma bihim min durrin lalajjoo fee tughyanihim yaAAmahoona

اگر بر آنها رحمت مي آورديم و آزاري را که بدان گرفتارند از آنها دور، مي ساختيم ، باز هم همچنان با سرسختي در طغيان خويش سرگشته مي ماندند

و اگر بر آنان رحمت مى آورديم و بلايى را كه دچارش بودند، مى گردانديم، در طغيانشان با سرگشتگى پاى مى فشردند.

و اگر ما به آنان رحم و شفقت كنيم و بلاى قحطى را از آنان برداريم هر آينه بسر سختى خود مى‏افزايند و در طغيان و سركشى خود فرو ميروند.

و اگر به آنان رحم کنیم و آسیب و گزندی را که دچار آن هستند [از آنان] برطرف سازیم، باز هم سرگردان و متحیر در سرکشی و طغیانشان لجاجت می ورزند.

و اگر ببخشائيم ايشان را و برداريم آنچه بديشان رسيده بود از رنج همانا عناد مى‏ورزند در سركشى خود در حاليكه حيرانند

و اگر ايشان را ببخشاييم، و آنچه از صدمه بر آنان [وارد آمده‏] است برطرف كنيم، در طغيان خود كوردلانه اصرار مى‏ورزند.

و اگر به آنها رحم كنيم و بلايا را از آنان بگردانيم، در طغيان خود پافشارى مى‏كنند و سرگردان مى‏مانند.

و اگر به ايشان رحمت مى‏آورديم، و از آنچه سختى بر ايشانست بر مى‏داشتيم، در گردنكشى سرگشته مى‏شدند.

و اگر ببخشائيم ايشانرا و رفع نمائيم آنچه بايشان رسيده از ضرر هر آينه لجاجت كنند در سركشى شان و حيران باشند

و اگر بر آنان رحمت مى‏آورديم و رنج و زحمتى را كه گرفتارش هستند از آنان باز مى‏داشتيم، در سركشى خود با سرگشتگى پاى مى‏فشردند

و اگر به آنان رحم کنید و گرفتاریها و مشکلاتشان را برطرف سازیم، (نه تنها بیدار نمی‌شوند، بلکه) در طغیانشان لجاجت می‌ورزند و (در این وادی) سرگردان می‌مانند!

و اگر بر آنها مِهر آوريم و گزندى را كه به آنها رسيده برداريم هر آينه سرگشته و كوردل در سركشى خويش بستيزند.

و اگر ببخشائيم ايشان را و رفع نمائيم آنچه بايشان رسيده از ضرر هر آينه لجاجت كنند در سركشى‏شان و حيران باشند

و اگر رحم كنيم ايشان را و بگشائيم آنچه بديشان است از رنج همانا خيرگى كنند در سركشى خود فروروندگان

و اگر ما با آنها مهربانی کرده و هر گونه الم و رنج و عذابی که دارند برطرف سازیم آنها سخت‌تر در طغیان و سرکشی خود فرو می‌روند.

حتي هنگامي كه ما باران رحمت بر آنها بارانديم و مشكلاتشان را برطرف كرديم، در سركشي عميق‌تري فرو رفتند و كوركورانه به اشتباهات خود ادامه دادند.

And if We had mercy upon them, and We removed/uncovered (relieved) what (is) with them from harm, they would have persisted, excessed and insisted in their tyranny/arrogance being confused/puzzled .

And though We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, still they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering blindly.

Did We have mercy on them, and remove the affliction that is upon them, they would persist in their insolence wandering blindly.

And even were We to show them mercy and remove whatever distress might befall them [in this life], [Sc., «as it inevitably befalls all human beings»: an oblique allusion to the fact that human life is never free from distress.] they would still persist in their overweening arrogance, blindly stumbling to and fro.

Indien wij deernis met hen gehad, en hen van het kwaad verlost hadden, dat over hen gekomen is, zouden zij zekerlijk stijfhoofdiger in hunne dwaling hebben volhard, in verwarring ronddwalende.

And if We were to have mercy on them and remove what distress was upon them, they would still return to persist in their transgression, wandering blindly.

Se li facessimo oggetto della misericordia e allontanassimo la miseria che li affligge, certamente persevererebbero alla cieca nella loro ribellione.

And though We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, still they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering blindly.

Если бы Мы смилостивились над ними и избавили их от беды, они все равно продолжали бы слепо скитаться, настаивая на своем беззаконии.

Если бы Мы смилостивились над ними и избавили от поразившей их беды, они все равно упорствовали бы в заблуждении и растерянности.

And if We show mercy to them and remove the distress they have, they would persist in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on.

Though We had mercy on them and relieved them of the harm afflicting them, they still would wander blindly on in their contumacy.

But if we had mercy on them, and removed the distress they have, they would persist in their rebellion, blindly wandering on!

Eğer biz onlara acıyıp da üstlerindeki sıkıntıyı kaldırsaydık, azgınlıkları içinde sersem sersem bocalamaya devam edeceklerdi.

If We had mercy on them and removed their afflictions, they would still persist in their insolence, blindly wandering.

Even if We had mercy on them and relieved them of their suffering, they would obstinately persist in their transgression wandering to and fro.

Even when we showered them with mercy, and relieved their problems, they plunged deeper into transgression, and continued to blunder.

And if we had taken compassion on them, and relieved them from their trouble, they would have plunged on in their wickedness, wildly wandering.

If We had had compassion on them, and had taken off from them the calamity which had befallen them, they would surely have more obstinately persisted in their error, wandering in confusion.

And if WE had mercy on them and relieved them of their affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly.

Und hätten Wir Uns ihrer erbarmt und sie von ihrer Drangsal befreit, sie würden dennoch in ihrer Widerspenstigkeit verharren, verblendet irre wandernd.

И если б Мы помиловали их, ■ Избавив их от их несчастья, ■ То и тогда б они в своем упрямстве ■ Скитались слепо в заблужденье.

Әгәр аларга рәхмәт итсәк, вә алардан ачлык зарарын бетерсәк, алар исә имансызлыкта ифрат китәрләр вә мөселманнарга дошманлыкларын арттырырлар.

اور اگر ہم ان پر رحم کریں اور جو تکلیفیں ان کو پہنچ رہی ہیں، وہ دور کردیں تو اپنی سرکشی پر اڑے رہیں (اور) بھٹکتے (پھریں)

اور اگر ہم ان پر رحم فرما دیں اور جو تکلیف انہیں (لاحق) ہے اسے دور کر دیں تو وہ بھٹکتے ہوئے اپنی سرکشی میں مزید پکے ہو جائیں گے،
