سَيُهْزَمُ الْجَمْعُ وَ يُوَلُّونَ الدُّبُرَ

سيهزم الجمع و يولّون الدّبر

Sayuhzamu aljamAAu wayuwalloona alddubura

زودا که آن جمع منهزم شود و پشت کرده بازگردند

زودا كه آن جمع ورشكسته شود و همه پشت كنند.

بزودى اجتماع آنها از هم پاشيده شده و فرار خواهند كرد.

به زودی [این] گروه [متحد در جنگی که خود بر ضد مؤمنان تدارک می بینند] شکست می خورند و پشت کنان می گریزند.

بزودى شكست مى‏خورند همه و بگردانند پشتها را (از معركه كارزار)

زودا كه اين جمع در هم شكسته شود و پشت كنند.

به زودى آن جمع شكست خورده روى بگردانند،

به زودى كه همه آنها هزيمت يابند و پشت كنند.

بزودى هزيمت شوند آن جمع و برگردند به پشت

اين گروه شكست خواهند خورد و پشت مى‏كنند

(ولی بدانند) که بزودی جمعشان شکست می‌خورد و پا به فرارمی‌گذارند!

بزودى آن جمع شكست مى‏خورند و پشت‏كرده مى‏گريزند.

بزودى هزيمت شوند آن جمع و برگردند به پشت

زود است شكست خورند گروه و بازگردانند پشتها را

به زودی آن جماعت (در جنگ بدر) شکست خورده و به جنگ پشت کنند.

همه آنها شكست خواهند خورد؛ آنها روي مي گردانند و فرار مي كنند.

The gathering/collection/group will be defeated , and they turn away the back/end.

Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs.

Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs.

[Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]! [The fact that the Prophet recited this verse just before the battle of Badr (see note on 8:10) has caused most of the commentators to assume that it had been revealed as a specific prophecy of the future victory of the Muslims over the pagan Quraysh. While this is possible, I believe, nevertheless, that the above passage has the much wider, timeless meaning explained in the preceding note. This view finds strong support in the subsequent verses, which speak of the evil otherworldly consequences of deliberate sinning, quite apart from the social and moral defeat, in this world, of the sinful community as a whole.]

De menigte zal zekerlijk op de vlucht worden gejaagd en zij zullen hunne ruggen omkeeren.

The large group will be defeated; they will turn around and flee.

Presto sarà dispersa la moltitudine e volgeranno in fuga.

Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs.

Эта группа будет разбита, и они обратятся вспять!

Повергнуто будет их сонмище, и будут они обращены вспять!

Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs.

The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee.

The whole shall be routed and shall turn their backs in flight.

O topluluk, bozguna uğratılacak ve arkalarını dönüp kaçacaklar.

Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs.

Yet, all these troops will be routed and will turn back and flee.

All of them will be defeated; they will turn around and flee.

The host shall be routed, and they shall turn them back.

The multitude shall surely be put to flight, and shall turn their back.

The hosts shall soon be routed and shall turn their backs in flight.

Die Scharen werden alle in die Flucht geschlagen werden, und sie werden den Rücken kehren.

Но скоро это множество (людей) ■ В такое бегство обратится, ■ Что будут видны лишь их спины.

Бу күп булган кәфер җәмәгате җиңелер вә артларына әйләнеп качарлар.

عنقریب یہ جماعت شکست کھائے گی اور یہ لوگ پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگ جائیں گے

عنقریب یہ جتّھہ (میدانِ بدر میں) شکست کھائے گا اور یہ لوگ پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگ جائیں گے،
