كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَ تَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَ لَوْ آمَنَ أَهْلُ الْكِتابِ لَكانَ خَيْراً لَهُمْ مِنْهُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَ أَكْثَرُهُمُ الْفاسِقُونَ

كنتم خير أمّة أخرجت للنّاس تأمرون بالمعروف و تنهون عن المنكر و تؤمنون باللّه و لو آمن أهل الكتاب لكان خيرا لهم منهم المؤمنون و أكثرهم الفاسقون

شما بهترين امتي هستيد از ميان مردم پديد آمده ، که امر به معروف و نهي از منکر مي کنيد و به خدا ايمان داريد اگر اهل کتاب نيز ايمان بياورند برايشان بهتر است بعضي از ايشان مؤمنند ولي بيشترين تبهکارانند

شما بهترين امتى هستيد كه براى مردمان پديد آمده اند، كه به نيكى فرمان مى دهيد و از ناشايستى باز مى داريد و به خداوند ايمان داريد; و اگر اهل كتاب ايمان آورده بودند برايشان بهتر بود; از آنان بعضى مؤمن و بيشترشان نافرمانند.

شما مؤمنين بهترين امتى هستيد كه به سود انسان‏ها آفريده شده‏ايد. امر به معروف و نهى از منكر مى‏كنيد و به خدا ايمان داريد و اگر اهل كتاب ايمان بياورند، بسود آنهاست. ولى عده كمى از آنان با ايمان و بيشترشان فساد كارند.

شما بهترین امتی هستید که [برای اصلاح جوامع انسانی] پدیدار شده اید، به کار شایسته و پسندیده فرمان می دهید و از کار ناپسند و زشت بازمی دارید، و [از روی تحقیق، معرفت، صدق و اخلاص] به خدا ایمان می آورید. و اگر اهل کتاب ایمان می آوردند قطعاً برای آنان بهتر بود؛ برخی از آنان مؤمن [به قرآن و پیامبرند] و بیشترشان فاسقند.

هستيد شما بهترين گروهى كه برون آورده شديد براى (انتفاع) مردم كه فرمان مى‏دهيد به نيكوئى و بازمى‏داريد از ناپسند و ايمان مى‏آوريد بخداى و اگر ايمان بياورند اهل كتاب (به پيغمبر آخر الزمان) بيگمان باشد آن ايمان بهتر براى ايشان برخى از آنان مؤمنند و بيشترشان فاسقند

شما بهترين امتى هستيد كه براى مردم پديدار شده‏ايد: به كار پسنديده فرمان مى‏دهيد، و از كار ناپسند بازمى‏داريد، و به خدا ايمان داريد. و اگر اهل كتاب ايمان آورده بودند قطعاً برايشان بهتر بود؛ برخى از آنان مؤمنند و[لى‏] بيشترشان نافرمانند.

شما بهترين امتى هستيد كه در ميان مردم پديدار شده‏ايد، امر به معروف و نهى از منكر مى‏كنيد و به خدا ايمان داريد و اگر اهل كتاب ايمان بياورند براى‏شان بهتر است، برخى از آنان ايمان دارند ولى بيشترشان فاسقند.

شما بهترين امت هستيد كه براى مردم پديدار شده، فرمان به كارهاى پسنديده مى‏دهيد و از كارهاى ناپسنديده جلوگيرى مى‏كنيد و به خدا ايمان داريد، و اگر اهل كتاب ايمان آورده بودند برايشان بهتر بود. [پاره‏اى‏] از آنها گرويدگانند و بيشترشان فرمان نابردگان.

هستيد بهتر امتى كه بيرون آورده شده از براى مردمان ميفرمائيد بخوبى و بازميداريد از ناشايسته و ميگرويد بخدا و اگر گرويدندى اهل كتاب هر آينه بودى بهتر مرايشانرا برخيشان گروندگانند و بيشتر ايشان نافرمانانند

شما بهترين امّتى هستيد كه براى مردم پديد آورده شده است، [كه‏] به كار شايسته فرمان مى‏دهيد و از كار ناشايست باز مى‏داريد و به خدا ايمان داريد. و اگر اهل كتاب ايمان مى‏آوردند، براى آنان بهتر بود. برخى از آنان مؤمنند و بيشترشان بدكارند

شما بهترین امتی بودید که به سود انسانها آفریده شده‌اند؛ (چه اینکه) امر به معروف و نهی از منکر می‌کنید و به خدا ایمان دارید. و اگر اهل کتاب، (به چنین برنامه و آیین درخشانی،) ایمان آورند، برای آنها بهتر است! (ولی تنها) عده کمی از آنها با ایمانند، و بیشتر آنها فاسقند، (و خارج از اطاعت پروردگار)

شما بهترين امتى هستيد كه براى مردمان پديدار شده‏ايد، كه به كارهاى پسنديده فرمان مى‏دهيد و از كارهاى زشت و ناپسند بازمى‏داريد و به خداى ايمان داريد و اگر اهل كتاب ايمان آورده بودند هر آينه برايشان بهتر بود، برخى از آنان مؤمنند و بيشترشان بدكاران نافرمانند.

هستيد بهتر امتى كه بيرون آورده شده از براى مردمان ميفرمائيد بخوبى و باز ميداريد از ناشايسته و ميگرويد بخدا و اگر گرويدندى اهل كتاب هر آينه بودى بهتر مر ايشان را برخيشان گروندگانند و بيشتر ايشان نافرمانانند

بوديد بهترين امتى كه برون آورده شديد براى مردم امر مى كنيد به نيكى و نهى مى كنيد از زشتى و ايمان مى آوريد به خدا و اگر ايمان مى آوردند اهل كتاب همانا بهتر بود ايشان را از ايشانند ايمان آرندگانى و بيشتر ايشانند نافرمانان

شما (مسلمانان حقیقی) نیکوترین امتی هستید که پدیدار گشته‌اید (برای اصلاح بشر، که مردم را) به نیکوکاری امر می‌کنید و از بدکاری باز می‌دارید و ایمان به خدا دارید. و اگر اهل کتاب همه ایمان می‌آوردند بر آنان چیزی بهتر از آن نبود، لیکن برخی از آنان با ایمان و بیشترشان فاسق و بدکارند.

شما بهترين جامعه اي هستيد که تاکنون از ميان مردم برخاسته است: شما به پرهيزکاري فرا مي خوانيد و از پليدي بازمي داريد، و به خدا ايمان داريد. اگر پيروان کتاب آسماني ايمان مي آوردند، برايشان بهتر مي بود. بعضي از آنها ايمان دارند، ولي اکثرشان پليدند.

You were (the) best nation , brought out to the people, you order/command with the kindness/known , and you forbid/prevent from the awfulness/obscenity , and you believe with God, and if The40Book’s people believed, (it) would have been/would be best for them, from them (are) the believing/believers, and most of them (are) the debauchers .

You (true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad SAW and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Maroof (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but

You are the best nation ever brought forth to men, bidding to honour, and forbidding dishonour, and believing in God. Had the People of the Book believed, it were better for them; some of them are believers, but the most of them are ungodly.

YOU ARE indeed the best community that has ever been brought forth for [the good of] mankind: you enjoin the doing of what is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong, and you believe in God. Now if the followers of earlier revelation had attained to [this kind of] faith, it would have been for their own good; [but only few] among them are believers, while most of them are iniquitous:

Gij zijt het beste volk dat ooit onder de menschen is opgestaan: gij beveelt wat rechtvaardig is, verbiedt wat slecht is, en gelooft aan God. En indien zij, die de schrift hebben ontvangen, geloofd hadden, waarlijk het ware beter voor hen geweest. Er zijn eenige geloovigen onder hen, maar het grootste gedeelte hunner zijn goddeloozen.

You were the best nation that emerged for the people, you ordered towards kindness and deterred from evil, and believed in God. If the people of the Scripture believed it would have been better for them; from amongst them are believers, but most remain wicked.

Voi siete la migliore comunità che sia stata suscitata tra gli uomini, raccomandate le buone consuetudini e proibite ciò che è riprovevole e credete in Allah. Se la gente della Scrittura credesse, sarebbe meglio per loro; ce n’è qualcuno che è credente, ma la maggior parte di loro sono empi.

You (true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad SAW and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Maroof (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fasiqoon (disobedient to Allah – and rebellious against Allahs Command).

You are the best of the nations raised up for (the benefit of) men; you enjoin what is right and forbid the wrong and believe in Allah; and if the followers of the Book had believed it would have been better for them; of them (some) are believers and most of them are transgressors.

Ye are the best community that hath been raised up for mankind. Ye enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency; and ye believe in Allah. And if the People of the Scripture had believed it had been better for them. Some of them are believers; but most of them are evil-livers.

Ye were the best of nations brought forth unto man. Ye bid what is reasonable, and forbid what is wrong, believing in God. Had the people of the Book believed, it would have been better for them. There are believers among them, though most of them are sinners.

Siz, insanlar için çıkarılmış en hayırlı ümmetsiniz: İyilik ve güzelliği belirlenmiş olana özendirirsiniz, kötülük ve çirkinliği belirlenmiş olandan sakındırırsınız, Allah’a iman edersiniz. You are the best nation ever to be brought forth for people. You order honor and forbid dishonor, and you believe in Allah. Had the People of the Book believed, it would have surely been better for them. Some of them are believers, but most of them are evildoers.

Since you have been empowered by the Qur’an, you are the best suited Community that has been raised up for the good of mankind. It is your duty to enjoin the Right and forbid the Wrong, since you accept the Final Word of God as the Criterion (3:4). The Qur’an clearly educates you on the Permanent Moral Value System and decrees authoritatively what the otherwise vague terms of ‹right› and ‹wrong›, and ‹good› and ‹evil› might mean. Now if the People of the Scripture had attained this kind of belief, it would have been for their own good. But only few among them are believers, while most of them are drifting away from the Truth.

You are the best community ever raised among the people: you advocate righteousness and forbid evil, and you believe in GOD. If the followers of the scripture believed, it would be better for them. Some of them do believe, but the majority of them are wicked.

Ye are the best folk that hath been raised up unto mankind. Ye enjoin the Just, and ye forbid the Evil, and ye believe in God: And if the people of the Book had believed, it had surely been better for them! Believers there are among them, but most of them are perverse.

Ye are the best nation that hath been raised up unto mankind: Ye command that which is just, and ye forbid that which is unjust, and ye believe in God. And if they who have recieved the scriptures had believed, it had surely been the better for them: There are believers among them, but the greater part of them are transgressors.

You are the best people raised for the good of mankind; you enjoin good and forbid evil and believe in ALLAH. And if the People of the Book had believed, it would have, surely, been better for them. Some of them are believers, but most of them are transgressors.

Ihr seid das beste Volk, hervorgebracht zum Wohl der Menschheit; ihr gebietet das Gute und verwehrt das Böse und glaubt an Allah. Und wenn das Volk der Schrift auch (diese Anweisung Allahs) annähme, wahrlich würde es ihnen besser frommen. Manche von ihnen nehmen (sie) an, doch die meisten ihrer sind ungehorsam.

И станете вы лучшим из народов, ■ Явившихся из всех родов и всех времен, – ■ Ведь (в Господа) уверовали вы, ■ И повелели доброе, и запретили злое. ■ И если бы уверовали люди Книги, ■ Для них бы это было лучше. ■ Есть среди них и те, которые уверовали (в Бога), ■ Но большинство упорствует в грехе!

Ий сез Мухәммәд г-м өммәте, дөньяга чыгарылган өммәтләрнең иң хәерлесе булдыгыз, Аллаһуга хак ышану илә ышандыгыз, кешеләрне хәерле эшләргә, изге гамәлләргә өнди белү белән өндәдегез һәм бозык, зарарлы эшләрдән тыя белеп тыйдыгыз. «Аллаһ, сахәбәләрне бу аять белән мактады, чөнки аларның ярдәме белән ислам дине куәтләнде һәм бөтен дөньяга таралды». Китабий кәферләр иман китереп, Коръән белән гамәл кылсалар, әлбәттә, алар өчен хәерле булыр иде. Алардан Коръән белән гамәл кылучы мөэминнәр бар, ләкин аларның күбрәге – фасыйклардыр

(مومنو) جتنی امتیں (یعنی قومیں) لوگوں میں پیدا ہوئیں تم ان سب سے بہتر ہو کہ نیک کام کرنے کو کہتے ہو اور برے کاموں سے منع کرتے ہو اور خدا پر ایمان رکھتے ہو اور اگر اہلِ کتاب بھی ایمان لے آتے تو ان کے لیے بہت اچھا ہوتا ان میں ایمان لانے والے بھی ہیں (لیکن تھوڑے) اور اکثر نافرمان ہیں

تم بہترین اُمّت ہو جو سب لوگوں (کی رہنمائی) کے لئے ظاہر کی گئی ہے، تم بھلائی کا حکم دیتے ہو اور برائی سے منع کرتے ہو اور اللہ پر ایمان رکھتے ہو، اور اگر اہلِ کتاب بھی ایمان لے آتے تو یقیناً ان کے لئے بہتر ہوتا، ان میں سے کچھ ایمان والے بھی ہیں اور ان میں سے اکثر نافرمان ہیں،
