وَ أَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمانِهِمْ لَئِنْ جاءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ لَيَكُونُنَّ أَهْدى مِنْ إِحْدَى الأُْمَمِ فَلَمَّا جاءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ ما زادَهُمْ إِلاَّ نُفُوراً

و أقسموا باللّه جهد أيمانهم لئن جاءهم نذير ليكوننّ أهدى من إحدى الأمم فلمّا جاءهم نذير ما زادهم إلاّ نفورا

Waaqsamoo biAllahi jahda aymanihim la-in jaahum natheerun layakoonunna ahda min ihda al-omami falamma jaahum natheerun ma zadahum illa nufooran

به خدا قسمهاي سخت خوردند که اگر بيم دهنده اي بيايد بهتر از هر امت ديگر هدايت يابند ولي چون بيم دهنده اي آمد ، جز نفرتشان نيفزود ،

و سخت ترين سوگندهايشان را به [نام] خدا ياد كردند كه اگر [پيامبر] هشداردهنده اى به نزد آنان آيد، از هر يك از امتها [يهود و نصار] رهيافته تر مى شوند; و چون هشداردهنده اى به نزدشان آمد، جز بر گريزشان نيفزود.

مشركين با نهايت تأكيد سوگند ياد كردند كه اگر پيامبرى براى هدايت آنان بيايد هر آينه از امتهاى ديگر (يهودى و مسيحى) بهتر هدايت خواهند يافت. ولى هنگامى كه پيامبر براى هدايت آنان آمد، چيزى جز كفر و نفرت براى آنان نيفزود.

و [مشرکان] با سخت ترین سوگندهایشان به خدا سوگند خوردند که اگر بیم دهنده ای به سوی آنان آید هدایت یافته ترین ها خواهند بود، پس چون [پیامبری] بیم دهنده برای آنان آمد، آنان را [دعوت او] جز نفرت و دوری از هدایت نیفزود.

(قريش) سوگند ياد كردند بخدا سختترين سوگندان خود را كه اگر بيايد بسويشان پيغمبر بيم كننده‏اى البته باشند راه يافته تر از يكى از امتان پس آنگه كه آمد بسويشان پيغمبر بيم كننده نيفزود آمدن وى ايشان را مگر رميدن (از حق)

و با سوگندهاى سخت خود به خدا سوگند ياد كردند كه اگر هرآينه هشداردهنده‏اى براى آنان بيايد، قطعاً از هر يك از امتها[ى ديگر] راه‏يافته‏تر شوند، و[لى‏] چون هشداردهنده‏اى براى ايشان آمد، جز بر نفرتشان نيفزود.

آنها به محكمترين سوگندها خدا را ياد كردند كه اگر هشدار دهنده‏اى بيايد از هدايت يافته‏ترين امتها خواهند بود، اما وقتى هشدار دهنده‏اى براى‏شان آمد جز بر فرارشان چيزى نيفزود.

و سوگند خورند به خدا سوگندان سخت كه اگر ايشان را بيم دهنده‏اى آمده بود البته از همه امّت‏ها هدايت يافته‏تر مى‏بودند، پس چون بيم دهنده ايشان را بيامد ايشان را جز فرار نيفزود.

و سوگند خوردند بخدا سخت ترين سوگندهاشان كه اگر آيد ايشانرا بيم كننده هر آينه باشند هدايت يافته تر از هر يك از امت‏ها پس چون آمد ايشانرا بيم كننده نيفزود ايشانرا جز نفرت

و به سخت‏ترين سوگندهايشان به خدا سوگند ياد كردند كه اگر هشدار دهنده‏اى به نزد آنان بيايد، از هر امّتى راه يافته‏تر خواهند بود. پس چون هشدار دهنده‏اى به [سوى‏] آنان آمد، در حقّ آنان جز گريز نيفزود

آنان با نهایت تأکید به خدا سوگند خوردند که اگر پیامبری انذارکننده به سراغشان آید، هدایت یافته‌ترین امّتها خواهند بود؛ امّا چون پیامبری برای آنان آمد، جز فرار و فاصله‌گرفتن از (حق) چیزی بر آنها نیفزود!

و [مشركان عرب‏] به خدا سوگند خوردند، سخت‏ترين سوگندها، كه اگر آنان را بيم‏دهنده‏اى بيايد بى‏گمان راه‏يافته‏تر از هر امتى خواهند بود پس چون بيم‏دهنده‏اى بديشان آمد آنان را جز رميدن و دورى [از حق‏] نيفزود

و سوگند خوردند بخدا سخت ترين سوگندهاشان كه اگر آيد ايشان را بيم كننده هر آينه باشند هدايت يافته تر از هر يك از امت‏ها پس چون آمد ايشان را بيم كننده نيفزود ايشان را جز نفرت

و سوگند ياد كردند به خدا سخت ترين سوگندان خويش را كه اگر بيايدشان ترساننده اى هر آينه باشند راه يابنده تر از يكى از امتها پس هنگامى كه بيامدشان ترساننده اى نيفزود ايشان را جز رميدنى (نفرتى)

و (مشرکان عرب) محکم‌ترین قسم به نام خدا یاد می‌کردند که اگر بیم کننده‌ای از جانب خدا برای (هدایت) آنها بیاید از هر یک از امم (یهود و نصاری زودتر و) بهتر هدایت یابند. و آن گاه که بیم کننده‌ای آمد بر آنها چیزی جز مخالفت و نفرت نیفزود.

آنها قاطعانه به خدا سوگند مي خورند كه اگر هشداردهنده اي نزدشان رفته بود، بهتر از هر جماعت ديگري هدايت مي شدند! اگرچه، اكنون كه هشداردهنده اي براي آنها آمد، اين فقط آنها را در بيزاري عميق تري فرو برد.

And they swore/made oath by God their rights’/oath’s utmost if (E) a warner/giver of notice came to them they will be/become more guided than any (of) the nations , so when a warner/giver of notice came to them, did not (nothing) increased them except hastening away with aversion .

And they swore by Allah their most binding oath, that if a warner came to them, they would be more guided than any of the nations (before them), yet when a warner (Muhammad SAW) came to them, it increased in them nothing but flight (from the truth),

They have sworn by God the most earnest oaths that if a warner came to them, they would be more rightly guided than any one of the nations; but when a warner came to them, it increased them only in aversion,

As it is, they [who are averse to the truth often] swear by God with their most solemn oaths that if a warner should ever come to them, they would follow his guidance better than any of the communities [of old had followed the warner sent to them]: [Cf. 6:157 and the corresponding note.] but now that a warner has come unto them, [his call] but increases their aversion,

De Koreshieten hebben met een plechtigen eed bij God gezworen, dat indien er een prediker tot hen ware gekomen, zij volgzamer zouden zijn geleid geworden dan eenig ander volk; maar nu een prediker tot hen gekomen is, heeft dit slechts den afkeer van de waarheid in hen vermeerderd.

And they swore by God in their strongest oaths, that if a warner came to them, they would be the most guided of all nations, but when a warner came to them, it only increased their aversion!

Giurano [in nome] di Allah con solenni giuramenti che se giungesse loro un ammonitore, agirebbero più rettamente di qualsiasi altra comunità. Poi, quando giunge loro un ammonitore, ciò non fa che accrescere la loro avversione,

And they swore by Allah their most binding oath, that if a warner came to them, they would be more guided than any of the nations (before them), yet when a warner (Muhammad SAW) came to them, it increased in them nothing but flight (from the truth),

Они принесли величайшие клятвы именем Аллаха о том, что если к ним придет предостерегающий увещеватель, то они встанут на более правильный путь, чем любая другая община. Когда же к ним явился предостерегающий увещеватель, это не увеличило в них ничего, кроме отвращения.

[Мекканские многобожники] дали именем Аллаха величайшую клятву, что если к ним придет увещеватель, то они будут на более правильном пути, чем любая другая община. Когда же к ним явился увещеватель, то это только приумножило их отвращение [к истине

And they swore by Allah with the strongest of their oaths that if there came to them a warner they would be better guided than any of the nations; but when there came to them a warner it increased them in naught but aversion.

And they swore by Allah, their most binding oath, that if a warner came unto them they would be more tractable than any of the nations; yet, when a warner came unto them it aroused in them naught save repugnance,

They swore by God with their most strenuous oath, verily, if there come to them a warner they would be more guided than any one of the nations; but when a warner comes to them, it only increases them in aversion,

Yeminlerinin tüm gücüyle Allah’a ant içmişlerdi ki, eğer kendilerine bir uyarıcı gelirse, ümmetlerin herhangi birinden çok daha doğru bir gidiş üzere olacaklar. Fakat uyarıcı onlara gelince, bu onlara nefretle kaçıştan başka bir katkı sağlamadı.

They solemnly swore by Allah that if a warner came to them they would be more rightly guided than any other of the nations. Yet, when a warner came to them, it only increased their aversion,

Thus it is, yet – they used to swear by Allah with their most solemn oaths that if a Warner came to them, they would follow his guidance better than any nation ever could. But now that a Warner has come unto them, it arouses in them nothing but aversion.

They swore by GOD solemnly that if a warner went to them, they would be better guided than a certain congregation! However, now that the warner did come to them, this only plunged them deeper into aversion.

They swore by God with their mightiest oath that should a preacher come to them they would yield to guidance more than any people: but when the preacher came to them it only increased in them their estrangement,

The Koreish swore by God, with a most solemn oath, that if a preacher had come unto them, they would surely have been more willingly directed than any nation: But now a preacher is come unto them, it hath only increased in them their aversion from the truth,

And they swore by ALLAH their strongest oaths, that if a Warner came to them, they would follow guidance better than any other people. But when a Warner did come to them, it only increased them in aversion,

Und sie schworen bei Allah ihre feierlichsten Eide, wenn ein Warner zu ihnen käme, sie würden der Führung besser folgen als die besten von den Völkern. Doch als dann in der Tat ein Warner zu ihnen kam, so bestärkte sie das nur in der Abneigung, zeihen, so haben auch jene schon, die vor ihnen waren, (die Propheten) der Lüge geziehen. Ihre Gesandten kamen zu ihnen mit klaren Beweisen, und mit Lehren und mit dem erleuchtenden Buch.

Они поклялись именем Аллаха – ■ Своею величайшею из клятв, – ■ Что, если бы пришел к ним увещатель, ■ Их путь бы (к Господу) прямее стал, ■ Чем (путь) других народов. ■ Когда же увещатель к ним пришел, ■ Его приход лишь увеличил ■ Их удаление (от праведной стези),

Мәккә мөшрикләре, Коръән иңмәс борын, Аллаһ исеме илә ант итеп әйттеләр: «Әгәр безгә Аллаһудан китап иңеп пәйгамбәр килсә, яһүд белән насарага караганда без туры юлга ныграк күнелгән булыр идек», – дип. Аларга Коръән белән пәйгамбәр килгәч, аларга Ислам диненнән өркеп качуны гына арттырды.

اور یہ خدا کی سخت سخت قسمیں کھاتے ہیں کہ اگر ان کے پاس کوئی ہدایت کرنے والا آئے تو ہر ایک اُمت سے بڑھ کر ہدایت پر ہوں۔ مگر جب ان کے پاس ہدایت کرنے والا آیا تو اس سے ان کو نفرت ہی بڑھی

اور یہ لوگ اﷲ کے ساتھ بڑی پختہ قَسمیں کھایا کرتے تھے کہ اگر اُن کے پاس کوئی ڈر سنانے والا آجائے تو یہ ضرور ہر ایک امّت سے بڑھ کر راہِ راست پر ہوں گے، پھر جب اُن کے پاس ڈر سنانے والے (نبی آخر الزماں صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تشریف لے آئے تو اس سے اُن کی حق سے بیزاری میں اضافہ ہی ہوا،
