وَ إِذْ قُلْنا لِلْمَلائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لآِدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلاَّ إِبْلِيسَ أَبى وَ اسْتَكْبَرَ وَ كانَ مِنَ الْكافِرِينَ

و إذ قلنا للملائكة اسجدوا لآدم فسجدوا إلاّ إبليس أبى و استكبر و كان من الكافرين

Wa-ith qulna lilmala-ikati osjudoo li-adama fasajadoo illa ibleesa aba waistakbara wakana mina alkafireena

و به فرشتگان گفتيم : آدم را سجده کنيد ، همه سجده کردند جز ابليس ،، که سرباز زد و برتري جست و او از کافران بود

و چنين بود كه به فرشتگان گفتيم بر آدم سجده بريد، آنگاه همه سجده بردند جز ابليس كه سركشيد و كبر ورزيد و از كافران شد.

هنگامى كه بفرشتگان گفتيم: در برابر آدم سجده كنيد (و در برابر خلقت آدم كه جميع صفات حسنه و استعداد سازندگى و كشف اسرار خلقت در قيد اختيار انسان قرار گرفته است، سر تعظيم فرود آوريد) همگى سجده كردند جز ابليس كه سجده نكرد و تكبر ورزيد و از كافران شد.

و [یاد کن] هنگامی که به فرشتگان گفتیم: به آدم سجده کنید، [پس] سجده کردند مگر ابلیس که سر پیچید و تکبّر ورزید و از کافران شد.

و آنگه كه گفتيم بفرشتگان سجده كنيم به آدم (بعنوان احترام) پس سجده كردند فرشتگان مگر ابليس كه امتناع كرد و برترى جست و بود او (در علم خدا) از ناگرويدگان

و چون فرشتگان را فرموديم: «براى آدم سجده كنيد»، پس بجز ابليس -كه سر باز زد و كبر ورزيد و از كافران شد- [همه‏] به سجده درافتادند.

هنگامى كه به فرشتگان گفتم بر آدم سجده كنيد همگى سجده كردند جز شيطان كه سرباز زد و تكبر ورزيد و از كافران شد.

و [ياد كن‏] چون ما به فرشتگان گفتيم به آدم سجده كنيد، پس همه به سجده افتادند جز ابليس [كه‏] سر باز زد و تكبر نشان داد و از كافران شد.

و هنگاميكه گفتيم مر فرشتگان را كه سجده كنيد مر آدم را پس سجده كردند مگر ابليس كه ابا كرد و سركشى نمود و بود از كافران

و چون به فرشتگان گفتيم: براى آدم سجده كنيد، پس [همه‏] سجده كردند مگر «ابليس» كه نپذيرفت و كبر ورزيد و از كافران شد

و (یاد کن) هنگامی را که به فرشتگان گفتیم: «برای آدم سجده و خضوع کنید!» همگی سجده کردند؛ جز ابلیس که سر باز زد، و تکبر ورزید، (و به خاطر نافرمانی و تکبرش) از کافران شد.

و [ياد كن‏] آنگاه كه فرشتگان را گفتيم: آدم را سجده كنيد، پس سجده كردند مگر ابليس، سرپيچى و گردنكشى كرد، و از كافران گشت.

و هنگامى كه گفتيم مر فرشتگان را كه سجده كنيد مر آدم را پس سجده كردند مگر ابليس كه ابا كرد و سركشى نمود و بود از كافران

و هنگامى كه گفتيم به فرشتگان سجده كنيد به آدم پس سجده كردند همه جز ابليس كه سر پيچيد و بزرگى طلبيد و بود از گروه كافران

و چون فرشتگان را فرمان دادیم که بر آدم سجده کنید، همه سجده کردند مگر شیطان که ابا و تکبّر ورزید و از فرقه کافران گردید.

هنگامى كه به فرشتگان گفتيم: به آدم سجده کنيد، آنان سجده کردند، جز ابليس؛ او امتناع ورزيد، او بسيار متکبر و کافر بود.

And when We said to the angels: «Prostrate to Adam.» So they prostrated except Satan , he refused/hated and became arrogant, and he was from the disbelievers.

And (remember) when We said to the angels: «Prostrate yourselves before Adam.». And they prostrated except Iblees (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allah).

And when We said to the angels, ‹Bow yourselves to Adam›; so they bowed themselves, save Iblis; he refused, and waxed proud, and so he became one of the unbelievers.

And when We told the angels, «Prostrate yourselves before Adam!» -they all prostrated themselves, save Ibiis, who refused and gloried in his arrogance: and thus he became one of those who deny the truth.

En toen wij tot de engelen zeiden: «Knielt voor Adam, deden zij het, slechts Eblis weigerde; hij was ongeloovig,».

And We said to the Angels: "Submit to Adam," so they submitted except for Satan, he refused and became arrogant, and became of the rejecters.

E quando dicemmo agli Angeli: «Prosternatevi ad Adamo», tutti si prosternarono, eccetto Iblîs, che rifiutò per orgoglio e fu tra i miscredenti.

And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves before Adam.". And they prostrated except Iblees (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allah).

Вот Мы сказали ангелам: «Падите ниц перед Адамом». Они пали ниц, и только Иблис отказался, возгордился и стал одним из неверующих.

И тогда Мы повелели ангелам: «Падите ниц перед Адамом». Все пали ниц, кроме Иблиса, [который] отказался [пасть ниц], возгордился и стал неверующим.

And when We said to the angels: Make obeisance to Adam they did obeisance, but Iblis (did it not). He refused and he was proud, and he was one of the unbelievers.

And when We said unto the angels: Prostrate yourselves before Adam, they fell prostrate, all save Iblis. He demurred through pride, and so became a disbeliever.

And when we said to the angels, ‹Adore Adam,› they adored him save only Iblis, who refused and was too proud and became one of the misbelievers.

O vakit biz meleklere, «Âdem’e secde edin» demiştik de İblis dışında tümü secde etmişti. İblis yan çizmiş, kibre sapmış ve nankörlerden olmuştu.

And when We said to the angels: ‹Prostrate (to Me) yourselves towards Adam, ‹ they all prostrated themselves except iblis (satan, father of the jinn), who, in his pride refused and became an unbeliever.

And when We said to the angels, «Humble yourselves and be subservient to Adam (the humankind) – They instantly humbled themselves except Iblis (Satan) who refused through pride, and so became a rejecter of the Divine Command.

When we said to the angels, «Fall prostrate before Adam,» they fell prostrate, except Satan; he refused, was too arrogant, and a disbeliever.

And when we said to the angels, «Bow down and worship Adam,» then worshipped they all, save Eblis. He refused and swelled with pride, and became one of the unbelievers.

And when We said unto the angels, worship Adam; they all worshipped him, except Eblis who refused, and was puffed up with pride, and became of the number of unbelievers.

And remember the time when WE said to the angels `Submit to ADAM,› and they all submitted. But Iblis did not. He refused and deem himself too big; and he was of the disbelievers.

Und (gedenke der Zeit) da Wir zu den Engeln sprachen: «Verneigt euch vor Adam», und sie alle verneigten sich; nur Iblis nicht. Er weigerte sich und war zu stolz, denn er war der Ungläubigen einer.

И вот Мы ангелам сказали: ■ «Адаму низко поклонитесь», ■ И те поклон ему отдали, ■ Кроме (надменного) Иблиса, ■ Кто, возгордившись, отказался ■ И стал одним из нечестивых.

«Хөрмәт йөзеннән Адәмгә сәҗдә кылыгыз», – дип фәрештәләргә әйткән вакытыбызда, алар сәҗдә кылдылар, мәгәр Иблис сәҗдә кылмады, тәкәбберләнде һәм көферләрдән булды.

اور جب ہم نے فرشتوں کو حکم دیا کہ آدم کے آگے سجدہ کرو تو وہ سجدے میں گر پڑے مگر شیطان نے انکار کیا اور غرور میں آکر کافر بن گیا

اور (وہ وقت بھی یاد کریں) جب ہم نے فرشتوں سے فرمایا کہ آدم (علیہ السلام) کو سجدہ کرو تو سب نے سجدہ کیا سوائے ابلیس کے، اس نے انکار اور تکبر کیا اور (نتیجۃً) کافروں میں سے ہو گیا،
