وَ إِذا لَقُوا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قالُوا آمَنَّا وَ إِذا خَلا بَعْضُهُمْ إِلى بَعْضٍ قالُوا أَ تُحَدِّثُونَهُمْ بِما فَتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لِيُحَاجُّوكُمْ بِهِ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ أَ فَلا تَعْقِلُونَ

و إذا لقوا الّذين آمنوا قالوا آمنّا و إذا خلا بعضهم إلى بعض قالوا أ تحدّثونهم بما فتح اللّه عليكم ليحاجّوكم به عند ربّكم أ فلا تعقلون

Wa-itha laqoo allatheena amanoo qaloo amanna wa-itha khala baAAduhum ila baAAdin qaloo atuhaddithoonahum bima fataha Allahu AAalaykum liyuhajjookum bihi AAinda rabbikum afala taAAqiloona

و چون با مؤمنان ديدار کنند ، گويند : ما هم ايمان آورده ايم و چون بايکديگر خلوت کنند ، گويند : آيا با آنان از دانشي که خدا به شما ارزاني داشته سخن مي گوييد ، تا به ياري آن در نزد پروردگارتان بر شما حجت آرند ؟ آيا به عقل در نمي يابيد ؟

و چون با مؤمنان رو به رو شوند گويند ايمان آورده ايم و چون با همديگر تنها شوند گويند آيا آنچه خدا بر شما آشكار كرده است، با آنان در ميان مى گذاريد، تا در پيشگاه خداوند با آن بر شما حجت آورند،آيا انديشه نمى كنيد؟

هنگامى كه مؤمنين را ملاقات ميكنند مى‏گويند: ما ايمان آورده‏ايم و چون در نهان بهم مى‏رسند، مى‏گويند: چرا مطالبى را كه خدا (در معرفى رسول اكرم صلى اللَّه عليه و آله) بر خلاف عقيده شما بيان كرده است، بمسلمانان بازگو ميكنيد؟ تا آن را دليلى بر عليه شما در پيشگاه پروردگارتان قرار دهند؟ آيا انديشه نمى‏كنيد.

و هنگامی که با مؤمنان دیدار کنند، می گویند: ما ایمان آوردیم. و چون با هم خلوت می کنند [از روی اعتراض و ایراد] به یکدیگر می گویند: چرا حقایقی را که خدا [در تورات درباره پیامبر اسلام] برای شما بیان کرده به مؤمنان می گویید تا [روز قیامت با این حقایق] در پیشگاه پروردگارتان بر ضد شما استدلال کنند؟ آیا تعقّل نمی کنید [که نباید زمینه استدلال بر ضد خود را در اختیار مؤمنان گذارید؟!]

و چون ملاقات كنند آنانرا كه ايمان آورده‏اند گويند گرويده‏ايم و چون خلوت كنند بعضيشان با بعضى ديگر گويند آيا خبر مى‏دهد مسلمانان را به آنچه (: به ايمان آوردن به محمد (ص) كه) حكم كرد خدا بر شما تا حجت گيرند بر شما به آن خبر دادن نزد پروردگارتان آيا بخرد نمى‏يابيد

و [همين يهوديان‏] چون با كسانى كه ايمان آورده‏اند برخورد كنند، مى‏گويند: «ما ايمان آورده‏ايم.» و وقتى با همديگر خلوت مى‏كنند، مى‏گويند: «چرا از آنچه خداوند بر شما گشوده است، براى آنان حكايت مى‏كنيد تا آنان به [استناد] آن، پيش پروردگارتان بر ضد شما استدلال كنند؟ آيا فكر نمى‏كنيد؟»

هنگام برخورد با مؤمنان مى‏گويند: «ما نيز ايمان آورديم» ولى در خلوت با يكديگر مى‏گويند: «چرا گفته‏هاى خدا را براى مسلمانان بازگو مى‏كنيد تا در پيشگاه خدا به آن سخنان بر شما حجت آورند. آيا نمى‏انديشيد؟»

و چون مؤمنان را مى‏ديدند مى‏گفتند: ما ايمان آورديم و وقتى كه برخى از آنها با برخى خلوت مى‏كرد مى‏گفتند آيا از آنچه براى شما در تورات [از محمد] بيان كرده با آنها سخن مى‏گوييد؟ تا [فردا] براى شما حجت آرند نزد پروردگارتان. پس آيا نمى‏انديشيد؟

و چون ملاقات كنند آنان را كه گرويدند گويند گرويديم و چون خلوت كنند بعضيشان با بعضى گويند آيا خبر ميدهيد ايشانرا بآنچه بگشود خدا بر شما تا حجت آورند شما را بآن نزد پروردگارتان آيا پس در نمى يابيد بعقل

و چون با مؤمنان ديدار كنند، گويند: ايمان آورده‏ايم. و چون با همديگر تنها شوند، گويند: آيا درباره آنچه خدا [باب دانش آن را] بر شما گشوده است با آنان سخن مى‏گوييد تا با آن نزد پروردگارتان با شما به مناظره برخيزند؟ آيا خرد نمى‏ورزيد؟

و هنگامی که مؤمنان را ملاقات کنند، می‌گویند: «ایمان آورده‌ایم.» ولی هنگامی که با یکدیگر خلوت می‌کنند، (بعضی به بعضی دیگر اعتراض کرده،) می‌گویند: «چرا مطالبی را که خداوند (در باره صفات پیامبر اسلام) برای شما بیان کرد، به مسلمانان بازگو می‌کنید تا (روز رستاخیز) در پیشگاه خدا، بر ضد شما به آن استدلال کنند؟! آیا نمی‌فهمید؟!»

و چون مؤمنان را ديدار كنند، گويند: ما نيز ايمان آورده‏ايم و چون برخى‏شان با برخى تنها نشينند گويند: آيا با آنان- مسلمانان- از آنچه خدا بر شما گشوده- به شما خبر داده (در باره حضرت محمد (ص) و اسلام)- سخن مى‏گوييد تا بدان [دستاويز] نزد پروردگارتان بر شما حجّت آورند؟! آيا به خرد در نمى‏يابيد؟!

و چون ملاقات كنند آنان را كه گرويدند گويند گرويديم و چون خلوت كنند بعضيشان با بعضى گويند آيا خبر ميدهيد ايشان را بآنچه بگشود خدا بر شما تا حجت آورند شما را بآن نزد پروردگارتان آيا پس در نمى يابيد بعقل

و هرگاه ملاقات كنند مؤمنان را گويند ايمان آورديم و چون خلوت كند بعضى از ايشان با بعضى گويند آيا حديث كنيد ايشان را بدانچه بگشود است خدا بر شما تا بدان بستيزند با شما نزد پروردگارتان آيا بخرد نمى يابيد

و هرگاه با مؤمنان روبرو شوند گویند: ما نیز ایمان آورده‌ایم؛ و چون با یکدیگر خلوت کنند گویند: چرا دری که خدا از علوم به روی شما گشوده به روی مسلمانان باز می‌کنید تا به کمک همان علوم با شما نزد خدایتان محاجّه کنند؟چرا راه عقل و اندیشه نمی‌پویید؟

و هنگامي كه مؤمنان را ملاقات مي‌كنند، مى گويند: ما ايمان داريم. ولي هنگامي كه گردهم مى آيند، مى گويند: از اطلاعاتي كه خدا به شما داده است، (مؤمنان را) آگاه نكنيد، مبادا آنها را در استدلالشان درباره پروردگارتان ياري كرده باشيد. آيا نمى فهميد؟

And if they met those who believed, they said: «We believed.» And if some of them (were) together to (with) some, they said: «Do you tell/inform them with what God taught on (to) you? To argue with you with it at your Lord.» Do you not reason/understand ?

And when they (Jews) meet those who believe (Muslims), they say, «We believe», but when they meet one another in private, they say, «Shall you (Jews) tell them (Muslims) what Allah has revealed to you (Jews, about the description and the qualities of Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him , that which are written in the Taurat (Torah)) , that they (Muslims) may argue with you (Jews) about it before your Lord?» Have you (Jews) then no understanding?

And when they meet those who believe, they say ‹We believe›; and when they go privily one to another, they say, ‹Do you speak to them of what God has revealed to you, that they may thereby dispute with you before your Lord? Have you no understanding?›

For, when they meet those who have attained to faith. they say, «We believe [as you believe]» – but when they find themselves alone with one another, they say. «Do you inform them of what God has disclosed to you, so that they might use it in argument against you, quoting the words of your Sustainer? Will you not. then, use your reason?»

Als zij de geloovigen ontmoeten, zeggen zij; wij gelooven, doch als zij onder zich bij elkander komen, zeggen zij; wilt gij hun dan verhalen, wat God u geopenbaard heeft, opdat zij u daarover voor uwen Heer zouden bestrijden. Begrijpt gij dat niet.

And when they come across those who believe, they Say: "We believe!", and when they are alone with each other they Say: "Why do you inform them about what God has said to us? Then they would use it in argument against us at your Lord. Do you not understand?"

E quando incontrano i credenti, dicono: «Anche noi crediamo». Ma quando sono tra loro dicono: «Volete dibattere con loro a proposito di quello che Allah vi ha mostrato, perché lo possano utilizzare contro di voi davanti al vostro Signore? Non comprendete?».

And when they (Jews) meet those who believe (Muslims), they say, "We believe", but when they meet one another in private, they say, "Shall you (Jews) tell them (Muslims) what Allah has revealed to you (Jews, about the description and the qualities of Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him , that which are written in the Taurat (Torah)) , that they (Muslims) may argue with you (Jews) about it before your Lord?" Have you (Jews) then no understanding?

Когда они встречали верующих, они говорили: «Мы уверовали». Когда же они оставались наедине друг с другом, то говорили: «Неужели вы расскажете им о том, что открыл вам Аллах, чтобы они могли препираться с вами посредством этого перед вашим Господом? Неужели вы не уразумеете этого?»

Когда [сыны Исраила] встречали уверовавших, они говорили: «Мы уверовали». Но когда они уединялись среди своих, то говорили: «Зачем вы рассказываете им то, что поведал вам Аллах? Ради того, чтобы они приводили это в качестве довода против вас перед вашим Господом»? Неужели вы не понимаете этого [о муслимы]?

And when they meet those who believe they say: We believe, and when they are alone one with another they say: Do you talk to them of what Allah has disclosed to you that they may contend with you by this before your Lord? Do you not then understand?

And when they fall in with those who believe, they say: We believe. But when they go apart one with another they say: Prate ye to them of that which Allah hath disclosed to you that they may contend with you before your Lord concerning it? Have ye then no sense?

And when they meet those who believe they say, ‹We believe,› but when one goes aside with another they say, ‹Will ye talk to them of what God has opened up to you, that they may argue with you upon it before your Lord? Do ye not therefore understand?›

İnanmış olanlarla karşılaştıklarında, «İnandık!» derler. Başbaşa kaldıklarında ise şöyle konuşurlar: «Allah’ın size açtığını, Rabbiniz katında sizinle tartışmada kanıt yapsınlar diye onlara söylüyor musunuz? Aklınızı işletmeyecek misiniz?»

When they meet those who believe, they say: ‹We are believers. ‹ But when alone, they say to their other (chiefs). ‹Do you tell to them what Allah has revealed to you so that they will dispute with you concerning it with your Lord? Have you no sense? ‹

And when they meet with those who have attained belief, say, «We believe as you believe.» But when they get together with one another, they say, «Do you inform them of that which Allah has disclosed to you, so that they might use it in argument against you? And all this before your Lord! Will you then not use your intellect?»

And when they meet the believers, they say, «We believe,» but when they get together with each other, they say, «Do not inform (the believers) of the information given to you by GOD, lest you provide them with support for their argument concerning your Lord. Do you not understand?»

And when they fall in with the faithful, they say, «We believe;» but when they are apart one with another, they say, «Will ye acquaint them with what God hath revealed to you, that they may dispute with you about it in the presence of your Lord?» Understand ye their aim?

And when they meet the true believers, they say, we believe: But when they are privately assembled together, they say, will ye acquaint them with what God hath revealed unto you, that they may dispute with you concerning it in the presence of your Lord? Do ye not therefore understand?

And when they meet those who believe, they say `We believe,› and when they meet one another in private, they say, `Do you inform them (the believers) of what ALLAH has unfolded to you, that they may thereby argue with you before your Lord. Will you not then understand ?

Und wenn sie den Gläubigen begegnen, sagen sie: «Wir glauben», und wenn sie einander heimlich begegnen, dann sagen sie: «Wolltet ihr jenen mitteilen, was Allah euch enthüllt hat, daß sie deswegen mit euch streiten vor eurem Herrn? Begreift ihr das denn nicht?»

И (вспомните), когда, встречая верующих, ■ Говорят они: «Мы веруем!» ■ Но, находясь наедине друг с другом, говорят: ■ «Ужель должны вы им сказать ■ То, что Аллах открыл вам (в Книге), ■ Чтоб (дать возможность) им пред Богом ■ Затеять с вами спор об этом?» ■ Ужель вы лишены (любого) разуменья?

Ул яһүдләр мөселманнарга очраганда: «Иман китердек», – диләр. Әгәр аулакта бер-берсенә юлыксалар әйтерләр ул яһүдләр үзара: «Ник хәбәр бирәсез мөэминнәргә үзегезгә Аллаһ ачык бәян кылган эшләрне» (Ягъни алар, Тәүратны укып беләләр иде Мухәммәднең хак расүл икәнен; ләкин аулакта бер-беренә әйтерләр иде: «Тәүраттагы шул сүзләрне мөэминнәрдән яшерегез», – дип). «Аның пәйгамбәр икәнлеген белә торып, инкяр иттегез, дип, ахирәттә Аллаһ хозурында өстегездән торуларына дәлил булсын өчен сөйлисезме? Уйлап карамыйсызмы?» – диләр.

اور یہ لوگ جب مومنوں سے ملتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں، ہم ایمان لے آئے ہیں۔ اور جب آپس میں ایک دوسرے سے ملتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں، جو بات خدا نے تم پر ظاہر فرمائی ہے، وہ تم ان کو اس لیے بتائے دیتے ہو کہ (قیامت کے دن) اسی کے حوالے سے تمہارے پروردگار کے سامنے تم کو الزام دیں۔ کیا تم سمجھتے نہیں؟

اور (ان کا حال تو یہ ہو چکا ہے کہ) جب اہلِ ایمان سے ملتے ہیں (تو) کہتے ہیں: ہم (بھی تمہاری طرح حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پر) ایمان لے آئے ہیں، اور جب آپس میں ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ تنہائی میں ہوتے ہیں (تو) کہتے ہیں: کیا تم ان (مسلمانوں) سے (نبی آخر الزمان صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی رسالت اور شان کے بارے میں) وہ باتیں بیان کر دیتے ہو جو اللہ نے تم پر (تورات کے ذریعے) ظاہر کی ہیں تاکہ اس سے وہ تمہارے رب کے حضور تمہیں پر حجت قائم کریں، کیا تم (اتنی) عقل (بھی) نہیں رکھتے؟،
