يا أَهْلَ الْكِتابِ لِمَ تُحَاجُّونَ فِي إِبْراهِيمَ وَ ما أُنْزِلَتِ التَّوْراةُ وَ الإِْنْجِيلُ إِلاَّ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ أَ فَلا تَعْقِلُونَ

يا أهل الكتاب لم تحاجّون في إبراهيم و ما أنزلت التّوراة و الإنجيل إلاّ من بعده أ فلا تعقلون

Ya ahla alkitabi lima tuhajjoona fee ibraheema wama onzilati alttawratu waal-injeelu illa min baAAdihi afala taAAqiloona

اي اهل کتاب ، چرا در باره ابراهيم مجادله مي کنيد ، در حالي که تورات و انجيل بعد از او نازل شده است ؟ مگر نمي انديشيد ؟

اى اهل كتاب چرا در حق ابراهيم محاجه مى كنيد، حال آنكه تورات و انجيل پس از او، نازل شده است; آيا انديشه نمى كنيد؟

اى اهل كتاب، چرا درباره ابراهيم بحث و مجادله مى‏كنيد؟ در حالى كه تورات و انجيل بعد از او نازل شده است. آيا انديشه نمى‏كنيد؟

ای اهل کتاب! چرا درباره ابراهیم می ادله و ستیز می کنید [شما قوم یهود، او را یهودی می دانید، و شما گروه نصاری، او را نصرانی می شمارید] در حالی که تورات و انجیل بعد از او نازل شد؛ آیا نمی اندیشید؟!

اى اهل كتاب چرا مجادله مى‏كنيد در باره (دين) ابراهيم (او را يهود و ترسا مى‏خوانيد) و حال آنكه فرستاده نشد تورات و انجيل مگر بعد از زمان ابراهيم آيا (سخن خود را) تعقل نمى‏كنيد

اى اهل كتاب، چرا در باره ابراهيم محاجه مى‏كنيد با آنكه تورات و انجيل بعد از او نازل شده است؟ آيا تعقل نمى‏كنيد؟

اى اهل كتاب چرا درباره ابراهيم كه تورات و انجيل بعد از او نازل شده است مجادله مى‏كنيد، چرا نمى‏انديشيد.

اى اهل كتاب چرا درباره ابراهيم محاجه مى‏كنيد و حال آنكه تورات و انجيل نازل نشد مگر بعد از او. آيا نمى‏انديشيد؟

اى اهل كتاب چرا مجادله ميكنيد در باره ابراهيم و فرو فرستاده نشد تورية و انجيل مگر پس از آن آيا پس در نمى‏يابيد

اى اهل كتاب، چرا در [باره‏] ابراهيم احتجاج مى‏ورزيد؟ حال آنكه تورات و انجيل جز پس از او فرو فرستاده نشده است. آيا خرد نمى‏ورزيد؟

ای اهل کتاب! چرا درباره ابراهیم، گفتگو و نزاع می‌کنید (و هر کدام، او را پیرو آیین خودتان معرفی می‌نمایید)؟! در حالی که تورات و انجیل، بعد از او نازل شده است! آیا اندیشه نمی‌کنید؟!

اى اهل كتاب چرا در باره ابراهيم ستيزه مى‏كنيد- هر كدام او را به كيش خود مى‏پنداريد- و حال آنكه تورات و انجيل فرو نيامده است مگر پس از او؟ آيا درنمى‏يابيد؟

اى اهل كتاب چرا مجادله ميكنيد در باره ابراهيم و فرو فرستاده نشد توراة و انجيل مگر پس از آن آيا پس در نمييابيد

اى اهل كتاب چرا ستيزه كنيد در ابراهيم حالى كه فرستاده نشده است تورات و انجيل مگر پس از او آيا تعقّل نمى كنيد

ای اهل کتاب، چرا در آیین ابراهیم با یکدیگر مجادله می‌کنید (که هر یک او را به خود نسبت می‌دهید) ؟! در صورتی که تورات و انجیل شما فرستاده نشد مگر بعد از ابراهیم؛ آیا تعقل نمی‌کنید؟

اي پيروان کتاب آسماني، چرا درباره ابراهيم مجادله مي کنيد، در حالي که تورات و انجيل پس از او نازل شد؟ آيا نمي فهميد؟

You The Book’s people, why (do) you argue/quarrel in Abraham, and the Torah and the New Testament/Bible were not descended except from after him, so do you not reason/understand?

O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you dispute about Ibrahim (Abraham), while the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) were not revealed till after him? Have you then no sense?

People of the Book! Why do you dispute concerning Abraham? The Torah was not sent down, neither the Gospel, but after him. What, have you no reason?

O FOLLOWERS of earlier revelation! Why do you argue about Abraham, seeing that the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed till [long] after him? Will you not, then, use your reason?

O gij! die de schrift hebt ontvangen, waarom twist gij omtrent Abraham? De thora en het evangelie werden toch eerst na zijnen tijd geopenbaard. Begrijpt gij dit niet?

اے اہلِ کتاب تم ابراہیم کے بارے میں کیوں جھگڑتے ہو حالانکہ تورات اور انجیل ان کے بعد اتری ہیں (اور وہ پہلے ہو چکے ہیں) تو کیا تم عقل نہیں رکھتے

اے اہلِ کتاب! تم ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کے بارے میں کیوں جھگڑتے ہو (یعنی انہیں یہودی یا نصرانی کیوں ٹھہراتے ہو) حالانکہ تورات اور انجیل (جن پر تمہارے دونوں مذہبوں کی بنیاد ہے) تو نازل ہی ان کے بعد کی گئی تھیں، کیا تم (اتنی بھی) عقل نہیں رکھتے،
