وَ لَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا الْقُرُونَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا وَ جاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّناتِ وَ ما كانُوا لِيُؤْمِنُوا كَذلِكَ نَجْزِي الْقَوْمَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ

و لقد أهلكنا القرون من قبلكم لمّا ظلموا و جاءتهم رسلهم بالبيّنات و ما كانوا ليؤمنوا كذلك نجزي القوم المجرمين

Walaqad ahlakna alquroona min qablikum lamma thalamoo wajaat-hum rusuluhum bialbayyinati wama kanoo liyu/minoo kathalika najzee alqawma almujrimeena

و ما مردمي را که پيش از شما بودند چون ستم کردند و به پيامبرانشان که با دلايل روشن سوي ايشان آمده بودند ايمان نمي آوردند ، هلاک کرديم مردم تبهکار را اينچنين کيفر مي دهيم

و به راستى اقوام پيش از شما را آنگاه كه ستم پيشه كردند، نابود كرديم و پيامبرانشان برايشان معجزات آوردند ولى بر آن نبودند كه ايمان بياورند، بدينسان گناهكاران را جزا مى دهيم.

ما قبل از شما مردم قرون گذشته را بخاطر ظلم و ستمشان و بكيفر گناهانشان هلاك كرديم و پيامبران ما با دلايل روشن، بسوى آنها آمدند و آنها ايمان نياوردند. بدينسان ما جماعت مجرم و گناهكار را به كيفر ميرسانيم.

یقیناً اقوام پیش از شما را هنگامی که ستم ورزیدند، هلاک کردیم، و پیامبرانشان برای آنان دلایل روشن آوردند، ولی آنان بر آن نبودند که ایمان بیاورند؛ این گونه گروه گناهکار را کیفر می دهیم.

و بعزتم سوگند هلاك كرديم (به انواع شكنجه‏ها) قومهائى كه پيش از شما بودند آنگه كه ستم كردند در حاليكه آمده بودند بسويشان پيمبرانشان با دليلها (و برهانهاى آشكار) و چنان نبودند كه ايمان آورند همچنان (كه آنان را كيفر داديم) كيفر خواهيم داد گروه بزهكاران را

و قطعاً نسلهاى پيش از شما را هنگامى كه ستم كردند به هلاكت رسانديم، و پيامبرانشان دلايل آشكار برايشان آوردند و[لى‏] بر آن نبودند كه ايمان بياورند. اين گونه مردم بزهكار را جزا مى‏دهيم.

امتهاى پيش از شما را در حال ستمكارى هلاك كرديم و اين در شرايطى بود كه پيامبران آنها با دلايل روشن به سويشان آمدند ولى آنها ايمان نياوردند، بدين گونه ستمكاران را كيفر مى‏دهيم.

و به يقين مردمان [روزگاران‏] پيش از شما را چون ستم كردند، هلاك كرديم، در حالى كه فرستادگانشان با معجزات براى آنها آمدند و بر آن نبودند كه ايمان آورند. اينچنين گروه گناهكاران را جزا دهيم.

و بحقيقت هلاك كرديم اهل زمان‏ها را پيش از شما چون ستم كردند و آمد ايشانرا رسولانشان با معجزات و نبودند كه ايمان آورند همچنين جزا دهيم گروه گناهكاران را

و به راستى پيش از شما نسلها [يى بسيار] را نابود كرديم چون در حالى كه رسولانشان نشانه‏هاى روشن براى آنان آوردند، ستم كردند و هرگز بر آن نبودند كه ايمان آورند. گروه گناهكاران را بدينسان جزا مى‏دهيم

ما امّتهای پیش از شما را، هنگامی که ظلم کردند، هلاک نمودیم؛ در حالی که پیامبرانشان دلایل روشن برای آنها آوردند، ولی آنها ایمان نیاوردند؛ این‌گونه گروه مجرمان را کیفر می‌دهیم!

و هر آينه نسلهاى پيش از شما را چون ستم كردند و به پيامبرانشان كه با نشانه‏ها و دلايل روشن بديشان آمدند ايمان نمى‏آوردند هلاك كرديم اينچنين گروه بزهكاران را كيفر مى‏دهيم.

و بحقيقت هلاàكرديم اهل زمان‏ها را پيش از شما چون ستم كردند و آمد ايشان را رسولانشان با معجزات و نبودند كه ايمان آورند همچنين جزا دهيم گروه گناهكاران را

و هر آينه نابود كرديم قرنهائى كه پيش از شما بودند گاهى كه ستم كردند و بيامدشان پيمبرانشان به نشانيها و نبودند كه ايمان آرند بدينسان كيفر دهيم به گروه گنهكاران

و محقّقا ما اقوام و مللی را پیش از شما به کیفر ظلمشان سخت به دست هلاک سپردیم و نیز به کیفر آنکه پیغمبرانی با آیات و معجزات بر آنها آمد باز هیچ ایمان نیاوردند. ما این گونه مردم بد عمل را به کیفر می‌رسانیم.

چه بسيار نسل هايي را پيش از شما، درنتيجه ستمكاريشان هلاک کرده ايم. رسولانشان با مدرک هاي روشن نزد آنها رفتند، اما آنها نمي خواستند ايمان بياورند. ما مجرمان را اين چنين به کيفر مي رسانيم.

And We had destroyed the generations/peoples of eras from before you, when they caused injustice/oppression, and their messengers came to them with the evidences, and they were not to believe, as/like that We reward/reimburse the nation the criminals/sinners.

And indeed, We destroyed generations before you, when they did wrong while their Messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they were not such as to believe! Thus do We requite the people who are Mujrimoon (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc.).

We destroyed the generations before you when they did evil, and their Messengers came to them with the clear signs, but they would not believe; so We recompense the people of the sinners.

And, indeed, We destroyed before your time [whole] generations when they [persistently] did evil although the apostles sent unto them brought them all evidence of the truth; for they refused to believe [them]. Thus do We requite people who are lost in sin.-`

Wij hebben vroeger de geslachten vernietigd die vr u bestonden, o bewoners van Mekka! toen gij onrechtvaardig hadt gehandeld, en onze gezanten tot hen waren gekomen met duidelijke wonderen, en zij niet wilden gelooven. Zoo vergelden wij de schuldigen.

We have destroyed the generations before you when they transgressed, and their messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe. It is such that We will recompense the criminal people.

Facemmo perire le generazioni precedenti perché furono ingiuste. Messaggeri della loro gente avevano portato le prove, ma essi non furono disposti a credere. Compensiamo così gli empi.

And indeed, We destroyed generations before you, when they did wrong while their Messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they were not such as to believe! Thus do We requite the people who are Mujrimoon (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc.).

And certainly We did destroy generations before you when they were unjust, and their messengers had come to them with clear arguments, and they would not believe; thus do We recompense the guilty people.

We destroyed the generations before you when they did wrong; and their messengers (from Allah) came unto them with clear proofs (of His Sovereignty) but they would not believe. Thus do We reward the guilty folk.

We have already destroyed generations before you when they did wrong, and there came to them their apostles with manifest signs, but they would not believe. Thus do we reward the sinful people.

Yemin olsun ki, biz sizden önceki kuşakları, zulmettikleri ve resulleri kendilerine açık kanıtlar getirdiği halde inanmadıkları için, helâk ettik. Günaha batanlar topluluğunu biz böyle cezalandırırız.

We destroyed generations before you when they did evil. (When) their Messengers came to them with clear verses they would not believe; so We recompense the sinning nation.

We annihilated many nations before you for their violation of human rights. Their Messengers had come to them with clear evidence of the Truth, but they refused to believe them. Thus do We reward those who steal the fruit of others› labor.

Many a generation we have annihilated before you when they transgressed. Their messengers went to them with clear proofs, but they refused to believe. We thus requite the guilty people.

And of old destroyed we generations before you, when they had acted wickedly, and their Apostles had come to them with clear tokens of their mission, and they would not believe: – thus reward we the wicked.

We have formerly destroyed the generations who were before you, O men of Mecca, when they had acted unjustly, and our Apostles had come unto them with evident miracles and they would not believe. Thus do We reward the wicked people.

And We destroyed many generations before you when they did wrong; and there came to them Messengers with clear Signs, but they would not believe. Thus do We requite the guilty people.

Und Wir vernichteten die Geschlechter vor euch, als sie frevelten; denn es kamen zu ihnen ihre Gesandten mit deutlichen Zeichen, sie aber wollten nicht glauben. Also vergelten Wir dem sündigen Volk.

Мы истребили поколенья, ■ Что были прежде вас, ■ Когда они чинили беззаконие и зло: ■ К ним с ясными знаменьями от Нас ■ Из них самих посланники являлись – ■ Они ж неверными остались. ■ Так воздаем Мы тем, кто во грехе!

Тәхкыйк сездән әүвәл килеп золым кылган кавемне Без һәлак иттек, моннан гыйбрәт алыгыз! Рәсүлләре аларга ачык могҗизалар, вә ислам диненең гадел хөкемнәре белән килделәр, шулай да иман китермәделәр. Шуның кеби гөнаһка чумган кешеләрне җәза кылачакбыз.

اور تم سے پہلے ہم کئی امتوں کو جب انہوں نے ظلم کا راستہ اختیار کیا ہلاک کرچکے ہیں۔ اور ان کے پاس پیغمبر کھلی نشانیاں لے کر آئے مگر وہ ایسے نہ تھے کہ ایمان لاتے۔ ہم گنہگار لوگوں کو اسی طرح بدلہ دیا کرتے ہیں

اور بیشک ہم نے تم سے پہلے (بھی بہت سی) قوموں کو ہلاک کر دیا جب انہوں نے ظلم کیا، اور ان کے رسول ان کے پاس واضح نشانیاں لے کر آئے مگر وہ ایمان لاتے ہی نہ تھے، اسی طرح ہم مجرم قوم کو (ان کے عمل کی) سزا دیتے ہیں،
