وَ إِذا تُتْلى عَلَيْهِمْ آياتُنا بَيِّناتٍ قالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَيُّ الْفَرِيقَيْنِ خَيْرٌ مَقاماً وَ أَحْسَنُ نَدِيًّا

و إذا تتلى عليهم آياتنا بيّنات قال الّذين كفروا للّذين آمنوا أيّ الفريقين خير مقاما و أحسن نديّا

Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatuna bayyinatin qala allatheena kafaroo lillatheena amanoo ayyu alfareeqayni khayrun maqaman waahsanu nadiyyan

چون آيات روشنگر ما را بر آنان بخوانند ، کافران به مؤمنان مي گويند :کدام يک از دو فرقه را جايگاه بهتر و محفل نيکوتر است ؟

و چون آيات روشنگر ما بر آنان خوانده شود، كفرپيشگان به مؤمنان گويند، [بايد ديد] كدام يك از دو گروه [از ما يا شم] نيك مرتبه تر و مجلس آراتر است.

و هنگامى كه آيات روشن ما (درباره مؤمنين) بمردم تلاوت شود، كسانى كه كافر شدند به كسانى كه ايمان آورده‏اند، ميگويند: كدام يك از ما دو گروه در جاه و مقام بهتر و در انظار مردم محترم هستيم؟

و هنگامی که آیات روشن ما را بر آنان می خوانند، کافران به آنان که ایمان آورده اند، می گویند: کدام یک از ما دو گروه، جایگاهش [از جهت مادی] بهتر و می لس اُنسش [از لحاظ اجتماعی و سیاسی] نیکوتر است؟

چون خوانده شود بر ايشان آيه‏هاى ما در حاليكه آشكار است گويند آنانكه كافر شدند به آنانكه گرويدند كدام يك از دو گروه بهترند از نظر مكان و نيكوترند از نظر مجلس

و چون آيات روشن ما بر آنان خوانده شود، كسانى كه كفر ورزيده‏اند به آنان كه ايمان آورده‏اند مى‏گويند: «كدام يك از [ما] دو گروه جايگاهش بهتر و محفلش آراسته‏تر است؟»

هنگام تلاوت آيات واضح ما، كافران به مؤمنان گويند: «كداميك از دو فرقه مقامش والاتر و منزلتش بهتر است؟»

و چون آيات روشن ما بر آنها خوانده شود، كسانى كه كفر ورزيدند به كسانى كه ايمان آوردند بگويند: كداميك از دو گروه به مقام بهتر است و به نشستنگاه نيكوتر؟

و چون خوانده شود برايشان آيت‏هاى ما روشن گفتند آنان كه كافر شدند آنان را كه گرويدند كداميك از آندو گروه بهترند از حيث مأوى و خوبترند از حيث مجلس

و چون آيات ما به روشنى بر آنان خوانده مى‏شود، كافران به مؤمنان گويند: كداميك از دو گروه نيك مرتبت‏تر و نيك جايگاه‏تر است

و هنگامی که آیات روشن ما بر آنان خوانده می‌شود، کافران به مؤمنان می‌گویند: «کدام یک از دو گروه [= ما و شما] جایگاهش بهتر، و جلسات انس و مشورتش زیباتر، و بخشش او بیشتر است؟!»

و چون آيات روشن ما بر آنان خوانده شود كسانى كه كافر شدند به كسانى كه ايمان آورده‏اند گويند: كداميك از اين دو گروه را جايگاهى بهتر و انجمنى نيكوتر است.

و چون خوانده شود بر ايشان آيت‏هاى ما روشن گفتند آنان كه كافر شدند آنان را كه گرويدند كداميك از آن دو گروه بهترند از حيث مأوى و خوبترند از حيث مجلس

و هر گاه خوانده شود بر ايشان آيتهاى ما تابناك گويند آنان كه كفر ورزيدند بدانان كه ايمان آوردند كدام از دو گروهند بهتر در جايگاه و نكوتر در انجمن

و هرگاه (در فضیلت مؤمن بر کافر) آیات واضحه ما بر مردم تلاوت شود کافران (غنی و متکبر) به مؤمنان (در مقام مفاخره) گویند: کدام یک از ما دو فرقه مقاماتمان بهتر و مجلس و انجمنمان نیکوتر خواهد بود؟

هنگامي که آيات ما، به وضوح، بر آنان خوانده مي شود، کساني که ايمان نمي آورند به کساني که ايمان مي آورند، مي گويند: کداميک از ما از رفاه و موفقيت بيشتري برخوردار است؟ کداميک از ما در اکثريت است؟

And when Our evidences/verses evidences are read/recited on (to) them, those who disbelieved said to those who believed: «Which (of) the two groups/parties/flocks is (in) better residence and best gathering/assembly/club?»

And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW who have a hard life): «Which of the two groups (i.e. believers and disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation).»

When Our signs are recited to them as clear signs, the unbelievers say to the believers, ‹Which of the two parties is better in station, fairer in assembly?›

AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: «Which of the two kinds of manse is in a stronger position and superior as a community?»

Als hun onze duidelijke teekens worden voorgelezen, zeggen de ongeloovigen tot de ware geloovigen: Wie der beide partijen bekleedt de verhevenste plaats en vormt de uitmuntendste verzameling?

And when Our clear revelations were recited to them, those who rejected said to those who believed: "Which of the two groups of ours is more in authority and more prosperous?"

Quando vengono recitati i Nostri chiari versetti, i miscredenti dicono a coloro che credono: «Quale dei due partiti ha miglior posizione e buona compagnia?».

And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers and disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)."

Когда им читают Наши ясные аяты, неверующие говорят верующим: «Какая из двух групп занимает более высокое положение и более достойное место?»

Когда же людям читают Наши ясно изложенные аяты, то неверные [смеют] говорить уверовавшим: «Какая из двух групп [людей] выше по положению и лучше как община?»

And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in abiding and best in assembly?

And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Which of the two parties (yours or ours) is better in position, and more imposing as an army?

And when our signs are recited to them manifest, those who misbelieve say to those who believe, ‹Which of the two parties is best placed and in the best company?›

Onlara ayetlerimiz açık-seçik okunduğunda, inkâr edenler inananlara şöyle derler: «İki zümreden hangisi makamca daha üstün, meclisce daha güzel?»

When Our clear verses are recited to them the unbelievers say to the believers: ‹Which of the two parties has a better position or company? ‹

As it is, when Our Messages are presented to them in all clarity, the rejecters say to the believers, «Which of the two sides, yours or ours, has a better position and glamour?»

When our revelations are recited to them, clearly, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, «Which of us is more prosperous? Which of us is in the majority?»

And when our clear signs are rehearsed to them, the infidels say to those who believe: «Which of the two parties is in the best plight? and which is the most goodly company?»

When our manifest signs are read unto them, the infidels say unto the true believers, which of the two parties is in the more eligible condition, and formeth the more excellent assembly?

And when OUR manifest Signs are recited unto them, the disbelievers say to the believers, `Tell us, which of the two parties is better in respect of position and is more impressive in respect of companions ?›

Und wenn ihnen Unsere deutlichen Zeichen verlesen werden, sagen die Ungläubigen zu den Gläubigen: «Welche der beiden Parteien ist besser gestellt und ergibt eine eindrucksvollere Versammlung?»

Когда им Наши ясные знамения читают, ■ То те, которые не веруют (в Аллаха), ■ Верующим говорят: ■ «Которая из этих двух общин ■ Лучше устроена (в сей жизни) ■ И по составу – радостней (для глаз)?»

Дөньяда вакытта аларга Безнең һәр нәрсәне бәян итүче аятьләребез укылса, кәферләр мөэминнәргә әйтәләр: «Мөэмин белән кәфернең тора торган урын йөзеннән кайсысының урыны хәерлерәк, вә кавем җыела торган урын йөзеннән яхшыракдыр?»

اور جب ان لوگوں کے سامنے ہماری آیتیں پڑھی جاتی ہیں تو جو کافر ہیں وہ مومنوں سے کہتے ہیں کہ دونوں فریق میں سے مکان کس کے اچھے اور مجلسیں کس کی بہتر ہیں

اور جب ان پر ہماری روشن آیتیں تلاوت کی جاتی ہیں تو کافر لوگ ایمان والوں سے کہتے ہیں: (اسی دنیا میں دیکھ لو! ہم) دونوں گروہوں میں سے کس کی رہائش گاہ بہتر اور مجلس خوب تر ہے،
