وَ اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لِيَكُونُوا لَهُمْ عِزًّا

و اتّخذوا من دون اللّه آلهة ليكونوا لهم عزّا

Waittakhathoo min dooni Allahi alihatan liyakoonoo lahum AAizzan

و به غير از الله خداياني اختيار کردند تا سبب عزتشان گردند

و به جاى خداوند خدايانى را به پرستش گرفتند تا مايه عزت و اعتبار آنان باشند.

مشركان بجاى پرستش خدا، معبودانى گرفتند تا بدينوسيله براى خود شخصيت كسب كنند.

و به جای خدا معبودانی گرفتند تا برای آنان مایه عزت و توانمندی باشد.

و برگرفتند مشركان بجز خدا معبودانى تا باشند آن معبودان ايشان را سبب ارجمندى

و به جاى خدا، معبودانى اختيار كردند تا براى آنان [مايه‏] عزّت باشد.

غير از خدا معبودهايى برگزيدند كه مايه عزتشان باشد

و جز از خدا، معبودانى گرفتند تا برايشان عزتى باشند.

و گرفتند از غير خدا الاهان تا باشند براى ايشان ارجمندى

و به جاى خداوند معبودان [دروغين‏] را [به خدايى‏] گرفتند تا برايشان [مايه‏] عزّت باشند

و آنان غیر از خدا، معبودانی را برای خود برگزیدند تا مایه عزّتشان باشد! (چه پندار خامی!)

و بجز خداى يكتا خدايانى گرفتند تا آنها را مايه بزرگى و نيرو باشند.

و گرفتند از غير خدا الهان تا باشند براى ايشان ارجمندى

و برگرفتند جز خدا خدايانى تا باشند براى آنان عزّتى

و مشرکان، خدای یگانه را ترک گفته و خدایان باطل (مانند بتها و فراعنه) را برای عزت و احترام دنیوی برگرفتند.

آنها در كنار خدا، خدايان ديگري را پرستش مي كنند تا شايد آنها را ياري دهند.

And they took/received from other than God gods, to be for them glory/might/honour .

And they have taken (for worship) aliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allahs Punishment etc.).

And they have taken to them other gods apart from God, that they might be for them a might.

For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a strength for them.›

Zij hebben andere goden naast God genomen, opdat zij hun tot zegen konden zijn. Volstrekt niet.

And they have taken gods besides God to be for them their glory.

Si sono presi dèi all’infuori di Allah [sperando] che fossero loro d’aiuto.

And they have taken (for worship) aliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allahs Punishment etc.).

Они стали поклоняться наряду с Аллахом другим богам, чтобы те одарили их могуществом.

[Многобожники] поклонялись помимо Аллаха другим богам, чтобы обрести благодаря им величие.

And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength;

And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them.

They take other gods besides God to be their glory.

Kendilerine onur ve destek olsunlar diye Allah dışında ilahlar edindiler.

And they have taken gods, other than Allah, that they might be a power from them.

And they have chosen idols in various forms besides Allah, hoping that they would be a source of strength for them.

They worship beside GOD other gods that (they think) may be of help to them.

They have taken other gods beside God to be their help.

They have taken other gods, besides God, that they may be a glory unto them.

And they have taken other gods than ALLAH that they may be a source of honour and power for them.

Sie haben sich Götter genommen statt Allah, auf daß sie ihnen zur Ehre würden.

Они себе других богов, опричь ■ Аллаха, взяли, ■ Чтоб они стали славой и опорой им.

Мөшрикләр Аллаһудан башка Илаһәләр тоттылар, үзләренә дәрәҗә булсын өчен.

اور ان لوگوں نے خدا کے سوا اور معبود بنالئے ہیں تاکہ وہ ان کے لئے (موجب عزت و) مدد ہوں

اور انہوں نے اللہ کے سوا (کئی اور) معبود بنا لئے ہیں تاکہ وہ ان کے لئے باعثِ عزت ہوں،
