وَ لِسُلَيْمانَ الرِّيحَ غُدُوُّها شَهْرٌ وَ رَواحُها شَهْرٌ وَ أَسَلْنا لَهُ عَيْنَ الْقِطْرِ وَ مِنَ الْجِنِّ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِ وَ مَنْ يَزِغْ مِنْهُمْ عَنْ أَمْرِنا نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذابِ السَّعِيرِ

و لسليمان الرّيح غدوّها شهر و رواحها شهر و أسلنا له عين القطر و من الجنّ من يعمل بين يديه بإذن ربّه و من يزغ منهم عن أمرنا نذقه من عذاب السّعير

Walisulaymana alrreeha ghuduwwuha shahrun warawahuha shahrun waasalna lahu AAayna alqitri wamina aljinni man yaAAmalu bayna yadayhi bi-ithni rabbihi waman yazigh minhum AAan amrina nuthiqhu min AAathabi alssaAAeeri

و باد را مسخر سليمان کرديم بامدادان يک ماهه راه مي رفت و شبانگاه يک ماهه راه و چشمه مس را برايش جاري ساختيم و گروهي از ديوها به فرمان پروردگارش برايش کار مي کردند و هر که از آنان سر از فرمان ما مي پيچيد به او عذاب آتش سوزان را مي چشانيديم

و براى سليمان باد را [رام گردانيديم]، كه سير بامداديش يكماهه راه و سير شامگاهيش يكماهه راه بود; و براى او چشمه مس [گداخته و جوشان] را روان ساختيم; و از جنيان گروهى در نزد او و به اذن پروردگارش كار مى كردند، و هر كدام از آنان كه از فرمان ما سر پيچيد، به او

و (حركت) باد را تحت امر سليمان قرار داديم كه وسيله آن سحرگاهان راه يك ماهه (حدود يكهزار كيلومتر) و شامگاهان راه يك ماهه را بپيمايد و چشمه‏اى از فلز مذاب را بر او جارى ساختيم و گروهى از جنيان بفرمان پروردگارشان نزد سليمان خدماتى انجام مى‏دادند و از آنها هر كه سر از فرمان ما برمى‏تافت، عذاب آتش سوزان را به او ميچشانديم.

و باد را برای سلیمان [مسخّر و رام کردیم] ، که رفتن صبح گاهش [به اندازه] یک ماه و رفتن شام گاهش [به اندازه] یک ماه بود؛ و چشمه مس را برای او روان ساختیم، و گروهی از جن به اذن پروردگارش نزد او کار می کردند، و هر کدام از آنان از فرمان ما سرپیچی می کرد از عذاب سوزان به او می چشاندیم.

و (رام كرديم) براى سليمان باد را كه مسير رفتن باد از بامداد تا ظهر يك ماه راه بود و از ظهر تا غروب يك ماه راه و جارى كرديم برايش چشمه مس را و از پريان كسانى بودند كه كار مى‏كردند نزد او بفرمان پروردگار خود و هر كه عدول مى‏كرد از آنها از فرمان ما مى‏چشانيديم باو از عذاب آتش افروخته

و باد را براى سليمان [رام كرديم:] كه رفتن آن بامداد، يك ماه، و آمدنش شبانگاه، يك ماه [راه‏] بود، و معدن مس را براى او ذوب [و روان‏] گردانيديم، و برخى از جن به فرمان پروردگارشان پيش او كار مى‏كردند، و هر كس از آنها از دستور ما سر برمى‏تافت، از عذاب سوزان به او مى‏چشانيديم.

باد را رام سليمان كرديم كه بامدادان راه يك ماهه را طى مى‏كرد و شبانگاه نيز راه يك ماهه را. چشمه مس را برايش روان ساختيم و به فرمان پروردگار گروهى از ديوها برايش كار مى‏كردند و هر كدام كه سر از فرمان مى‏پيچيد عذاب سوزانى به او مى‏چشانديم.

و باد را براى سليمان [رام كرديم‏] كه [رفتن‏] بامدادى آن يك ماهه راه و [سير] شبانه‏اش يك ماهه راه بود، و او را چشمه مس جارى كرديم و [مقرّر كرديم‏] از جنّ كسانى كه در برابر او به اذن پروردگارش كار مى‏كردند، و هر كه از آنها از فرمان ما سر مى‏پيچيد او را از عذاب آتش سوزان مى‏چشانيم.

و بسليمان باد را كه بامدادش ماهى بود و شبانگاهش ماهى و جارى كرديم برايش چشمه مس گداخته و از جن كسى كه كار ميكرد در حضور او باذن پروردگارش و آن كه سر پيچد از ايشان از فرمان ما مى‏چشانيم او را از عذاب آتش سوزان

و باد را براى سليمان [مسخر كرديم‏] كه سير بامدادى‏اش يك ماه و باز گشت شبانگاهى‏اش يك ماه بود. و چشمه مس را برايش روان ساختيم و از جنّ كسى را [مسخّر كرديم‏] كه به حكم پروردگارش در نزد او كار مى‏كرد. و [مقرر داشتيم‏] هر كس از آنان كه از حكم ما منحرف شود از [طعم تلخ‏] عذاب دوزخ به او خواهيم چشاند

و برای سلیمان باد را مسخّر ساختیم که صبحگاهان مسیر یک ماه را می‌پیمود و عصرگاهان مسیر یک ماه را؛ و چشمه مس (مذاب) را برای او روان ساختیم؛ و گروهی از جنّ پیش روی او به اذن پروردگارش کار می‌کردند؛ و هر کدام از آنها که از فرمان ما سرپیچی می‌کرد، او را عذاب آتش سوزان می‌چشانیم!

و باد را براى سليمان [رام كرديم‏]، كه بامدادان يك ماهه راه مى‏پيمود و شبانگاه يك ماهه راه مى‏پيمود. و چشمه مس [گداخته‏] را براى او روان ساختيم، و از ديوان كسانى بودند كه به فرمان پروردگارش پيش او كار مى‏كردند و هر كه از فرمان ما كجروى مى‏كرد- فرمان سليمان نمى‏برد- او را از عذاب آتش افروخته مى‏چشانديم.

و بسليمان باد را كه بامدادش ماهى بود و شبانگاهش ماهى و جارى كرديم برايش چشمه مس گداخته و از جن كسى كه كار ميكرد در حضور او باذن پروردگارش و آن كه سر پيچيد از ايشان از فرمان ما مى‏چشانيم او را از عذاب آتش سوزان

و براى سليمان باد را پيشينش يك ماه و پسينش يك ماه و روان (ذوب) ساختيم برايش چشمه مس را و از پريان آنان را كه كار مى كردند پيش رويش به دستور پروردگار او و آنكو كجروى مى كرد از ايشان از فرمان ما مى چشانديمش از عذابى سوزان

و باد را مسخّر سلیمان ساختیم که (بساطش را) صبحگاه یک ماه راه می‌برد و عصر یک ماه، و معدن مس گداخته (یا نفت یا معادن دیگر) را برای او جاری گردانیدیم، و برخی از دیوان به اذن پروردگار در حضورش به خدمت می‌پرداختند و از آنها هر که سر از فرمان ما بپیچد عذاب آتش سوزانش می‌چشانیم.

ما باد را در خدمت سليمان قرار داديم، يك ماه مي آمدند و يك ماه مي رفتند. و ما باعث شديم تا چشمه اي از نفت براي او فوران كند. همچنين، جن ها با اجازه پروردگارش، براي او كار مي كردند. هر يك از آنها كه از دستورات ما سرپيچي مي كرد، او را به عذابي سخت گرفتار مي كرديم.

And to Soliman the wind/breeze its going early (for a) month and its departure (passing) (for a month), and We made the molten copper/brass/iron well flow/dissolve/melt for him, and from the Jinns who works between his hands with his Lord’s permission/pardon, and who deviates/turns away from them from Our order/command, We make him taste/experience from the blazing’s/inflamed’s (inferno’s) torture.

And to Solomon (We subjected) the wind, its morning (stride from sunrise till midnoon) was a months (journey), and its afternoon (stride from the midday decline of the sun to sunset) was a months (journey i.e. in one day he could travel two months journey). And We caused a fount of (molten) brass to flow for him, and there were jinns that worked in front of him, by the Leave of his Lord, and whosoever of them turned aside from Our Command, We shall cause him to taste of the torment of the blazin

And to Solomon the wind; its morning course was a month’s journey, and its evening course was a month’s journey. And We made the Fount of Molten Brass to flow for him. And of the jinn, some worked before him by the leave of his Lord; and such of them as swerved away from Our commandment, We would let them taste the chastisement of the Blaze;

AND UNTO Solomon [We made subservient] the wind: its morning course [covered the distance of] a month’s journey, and its evening course, a month’s journey. [Cf. 21:81 and the corresponding note. For a more general explanation of the legends connected with the person of Solomon, see note on 21:82.] And We caused a fountain of molten copper to flow at his behest; [Lit., «for him»: probably a reference to the many furnishings of copper and brass which, according to the Bible (cf. II Chronicles iv), Solomon caused to be made for his newly-built temple.] and [even] among the invisible beings there were some that had [been constrained] to labour for him by his Sustainer’s leave [Lit., «between his hands», i.e., subject to his will: see 21:82 and the corresponding notes. For my rendering of jinn as «invisible beings», see Appendix III.]- and whichever of them deviated from Our command, him would We let taste suffering through a blazing flame -:

En wij onderwierpen den wind aan Salomo; des ochtends gedurende eene maand, en des avonds gedurende eene maand. En wij maakten eene fontein van gesmolten koper, om voor hem te vloeien. En sommige der geniussen waren door den wil van zijn Heer verplicht, in zijne tegenwoordigheid te arbeiden, en wie van hen zich van ons bevel afwendde, zullen wij de pijn van het hellevuur doen proeven.

And for Solomon the wind was given, traveling one month coming and one month going, and We caused a spring of tar to flow for him. And from among the Jinn are those that worked for him by his Lord’s leave; and any one of them who turns from Our commands, We shall cause him to taste the retribution of the Fire.

[Sottomettemmo] a Salomone il vento che percorre un mese [di marcia] il mattino e un mese la sera e facemmo scorrere la fonte di rame. Lavoravano i dèmoni sotto di lui col permesso del suo Signore. Se uno qualunque di loro si fosse allontanato dal Nostro ordine, gli avremmo fatto provare il castigo della Fiamma.

And to Solomon (We subjected) the wind, its morning (stride from sunrise till midnoon) was a months (journey), and its afternoon (stride from the midday decline of the sun to sunset) was a months (journey i.e. in one day he could travel two months journey). Мы подчинили Сулейману (Соломону) ветер, который утром пролетал месячный путь и после полудня пролетал месячный путь. Мы заставили для него течь источник меди. Среди джиннов были такие, которые работали перед ним с дозволения его Господа. А тому из них, кто уклонился от Нашего повеления, Мы дадим вкусить мучения в Пламени.

[Мы покорили] Сулайману ветер, который [одним] утренним дуновением пролетает месячный [путь] и ночным дуновением проходит такой же [путь]. Мы заставили для него течь родники расплавленной меди. И часть джиннов работала на него по повелению его Господа. А тому, кто из них ослушается Нашего повеления, Мы дадим вкусить наказание огнем.

And (We made) the wind (subservient) to Sulaiman, which made a month’s journey in the morning and a month’s journey m the evening, and We made a fountain of molten copper to flow out for him, and of the jinn there were those who worked before him by the command of his Lord; and whoever turned aside from Our command from among them, We made him taste of the punishment of burning.

And unto Solomon (We gave) the wind, whereof the morning course was a month’s journey and the evening course a month’s journey, and We caused the fount of copper to gush forth for him, and (We gave him) certain of the jinn who worked before him by permission of his Lord. And such of them as deviated from Our command, them We caused to taste the punishment of flaming Fire.

And to Solomon the wind; its morning journey was a month, and its evening journey was a month; and we made to flow for him a fountain of molten brass; and of the ginns some to work before him by the permission of his Lord; and whoso swerves amongst them from our bidding we will give him to taste the torment and the blaze;

Süleyman için de sabah gidişi bir ay, akşam dönüşü bir ay olan rüzgârı görevlendirdik. Onun için erimiş katran/bakır kaynağını sel gibi akıttık. Cinlerden öylesi vardı ki, Rabbinin izniyle onun önünde iş yapardı. Onlardan hangisi buyruğumuzdan yan çizse, alevli ateş azabını kendisine tattırdık.

To Solomon the morning course of the wind was a month’s journey, and its evening course was also a month’s journey. We caused copper to be (as a) molten spring for him. And the jinn, some served him by the permission of his Lord. But as for those amongst them that swerved away from Our Command, We shall let them taste the punishment of the Blaze (the Fire).

And unto Solomon, We committed the wind at his disposal. (He mastered the science of sailing and his ships sailed much faster than the others). They sailed one month going and one month coming back. And We gave him abundance in mining of copper and minerals and subdued for him the Wild Tribes who worked for him by his Lord’s leave. (Solomon established the Divine System such that) whoever turned aside from Our Command, We made him taste a severe punishment (21:82), (38:37).

To Solomon we committed the wind at his disposal, traveling one month coming and one month going. And we caused a spring of oil to gush out for him. Also, the jinns worked for him, by his Lord’s leave. Any one of them who disregarded our commands, we subjected him to a severe retribution.

And unto Solomon did we subject the wind, which travelled in the morning a month’s journey, and a month’s journey in the evening. And we made a fountain of molten brass to flow for him. And of the Djinn were some who worked in his presence, by the will of his Lord; and such of them as swerved from our bidding will we cause to taste the torment of the flame.

And We made the wind subject unto Solomon: It blew in the morning for a month, and in the evening for a month. And We made a fountain of molten brass to flow for him. And some of the genii were obliged to work in his presence, by the will of his Lord; and whoever of them turned aside from our command, We will cause him to taste the pain of hell fire.

And to Solomon WE subjected the wind; its morning course was a month’s journey and its evening course was a month’s journey too. And WE caused a fount of molten copper to flow for him. And of the jinn were some who worked under him by the command of his Lord. And WE said that whoever of them turned away from Our command, WE would make him taste the punishment of the burning fire.

Und Salomo (machten Wir) den Wind (dienstbar); sein Morgenweg dauerte einen Monat, und sein Abendweg dauerte einen Monat. Und Wir ließen eine Quelle von geschmolzenem Erz für ihn fließen. Und von den Dschinn waren etwelche, die unter ihm arbeiteten auf seines Herrn Geheiß, und sollte einer von ihnen sich wegwenden von Unserem Gebot, so würden Wir ihn die Strafe des flammenden Feuers kosten lassen.

Мы подчинили Сулейману ветер, ■ И утренний (пробег) его пути ■ Был месячным (пробегом остального), ■ И путь вечерний – тоже месяц; ■ И источили для него ■ (Расплавленную) медную струю, ■ (И выбрали) из джиннов тех, ■ Что на глазах его трудились ■ По повелению его Владыки. ■ А если кто-нибудь из них ■ От повелений Наших уклонялся, ■ Тому давали Мы вкусить ■ (Суровой) кары огненную (муку).

Вә Без Сөләйман пәйгамбәргә җилне ирекле иттек, ул җил белән бер көндә бер айлык юлны вә бер төндә бер айлык юлны китәр иде, вә Без аңа эрегән бакыр чишмәсен агыздык, вә Без җеннәрдән бер таифәне Сөләйманга хезмәт итәргә бирдек, алар Раббиларының әмере буенча шул бакырдан Сөләйман ни әйтсә, шуны эшләр булдылар. Әгәр ул җеннәрдән берсе Без әйткәнчә Сөләйманга итагать итмәсә, Без ул җенгә ахирәттә ут ґәзабын татытырбыз.

اور ہوا کو (ہم نے) سلیمان کا تابع کردیا تھا اس کی صبح کی منزل ایک مہینے کی راہ ہوتی اور شام کی منزل بھی مہینے بھر کی ہوتی۔ اور ان کے لئے ہم نے تانبے کا چشمہ بہا دیا تھا اور جِنّوں میں سے ایسے تھے جو ان کے پروردگار کے حکم سے ان کے آگے کام کرتے تھے۔ اور جو کوئی ان میں سے ہمارے حکم سے پھرے گا اس کو ہم (جہنم کی) آگ کا مزہ چکھائیں گے

اور سلیمان (علیہ السلام) کے لئے (ہم نے) ہوا کو (مسخّر کر دیا) جس کی صبح کی مسافت ایک مہینہ کی (راہ) تھی اور اس کی شام کی مسافت (بھی) ایک ماہ کی راہ ہوتی، اور ہم نے اُن کے لئے پگھلے ہوئے تانبے کا چشمہ بہا دیا، اور کچھ جنّات (ان کے تابع کردیئے) تھے جو اُن کے رب کے حکم سے اُن کے سامنے کام کرتے تھے، اور (فرما دیا تھا کہ) ان میں سے جو کوئی ہمارے حکم سے پھرے گا ہم اسے دوزخ کی بھڑکتی آگ کا عذاب چکھائیں گے،
