وَ قالُوا نَحْنُ أَكْثَرُ أَمْوالاً وَ أَوْلاداً وَ ما نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ

و قالوا نحن أكثر أموالا و أولادا و ما نحن بمعذّبين

Waqaloo nahnu aktharu amwalan waawladan wama nahnu bimuAAaththabeena

و گفتند : اموال و اولاد ما از همه بيشتر است و کس ما را عذاب نکند

گفتند ما پر مال و منال تر و پر زاد و رودتر هستيم، و ما عذاب ديده نخواهيم بود.

و نيز گفتند: ما اموال و اولاد بيشترى داريم و ما را هرگز عذاب نخواهند كرد.

و گفتند: اموال و فرزندان ما از شما بیشتر است و [این دلیل توجه ویژه خدا به ماست؛ بنابراین اگر عذابی هم باشد] ما را عذاب نخواهند کرد.

و گفتند ما بيشتريم از نظر اموال و فرزندان و نيستيم ما عذاب شدگان (خدا ما را عذاب نخواهد كرد)

و گفتند: «ما دارايى و فرزندانمان از همه بيشتر است و ما عذاب نخواهيم شد.»

و همچنين گفتند: «اموال و اولاد ما بيشتر است و ما مجازات نخواهيم شد.»

و گفتند: ما به خواسته‏ها و فرزندان بيشتريم، و ما را عذاب نكنند.

و گفتند ما بيشتريم در اموال و اولاد و نباشيم ما عذاب شدگان

و گفتند: ما مالدارتر و پر فرزندتر هستيم و عذابديده نخواهيم بود

و گفتند: «اموال و اولاد ما (از همه) بیشتر است (و این نشانه علاقه خدا به ماست!)؛ و ما هرگز مجازات نخواهیم شد!»

و گفتند: ما مالها و فرزندان بيشتر داريم و ما عذاب‏شونده نيستيم- يعنى چون خدا ما را به نعمت مال و فرزند گرامى داشته، ما را عذاب نخواهد كرد-.

و گفتند ما بيشتريم در اموال و اولاد و نباشيم ما عذاب شدگان

و گفتند ما بيشتريم در مالها و فرزندان و نيستيم ما عذاب شدگان

و باز گفتند که ما بیش از شما مال و فرزند داریم و (چون نعمت دنیای ما افزون‌تر است در آخرت هم) هرگز رنج و عذابی نخواهیم داشت.

آنها همچنين گفتند: ما قدرتمندتر هستيم و مال و فرزندان بيشتري داريم و تنبيه نخواهيم شد.

And they said: «We (have) more properties/possessions/wealths and children, and we are not with being tortured.»

And they say: «We are more in wealth and in children, and we are not going to be punished.»

They also said, ‹We are more abundant in wealth and children, and we shall not be chastised.›

and they would add, «Richer [than you] are we in wealth and in children, and [so] we are not going to be made to suffer!» [Implying, firstly, that the only thing that really counts in life is the enjoyment of material benefits; and, secondly, that a materially successful life is, by itself, an evidence of one’s being «on the right way».]

En de bewoners van Mekka zeiden ook: Wij hebben grooteren overvloed van kinderen en rijkdommen dan gij; niet wij zullen hiernamaals worden gestraft.

And they said: "We have more wealth and more children, and we will not be punished."

Dissero: «Abbiamo ricchezze più grandi e figli, quindi non saremo castigati».

And they say: "We are more in wealth and in children, and we are not going to be punished."

Они говорили: «У нас больше богатства и детей, и нас не подвергнут мучениям».

Еще они говорили: «Мы превосходим вас богатством и [количеством] детей, и нас не подвергнут наказанию».

And they say: We have more wealth and children, and we shall not be punished.

And they say: We are more (than you) in wealth and children. We are not the punished!

And they say, ‹We have more wealth and children, and we shall not be tormented.›

Şunu da söylemişlerdir: «Biz, malca da evlatça da çoğuz. Azaba uğratılacak olanlar, bizler değiliz.»

And they said: ‹We have been given an abundance of wealth and children we shall never be punished! ‹

And they further said, «We are more than you in wealth and children and party and we cannot be made to suffer.»

They also said, «We are more powerful, with more money and children, and we will not be punished.»

And they said, «We are the more abundant in riches and in children, nor shall we be among the punished.»

And those of Mecca also say, we abound in riches and children more than ye; and we shall not be punished hereafter.

And they say, `We have more wealth and children; and we shall not be punished.›

Und sie sprachen: «Wir sind reicher an Gut und an Kindern; und wir werden nicht bestraft werden.»

И говорили: «Мы добром богаче и детьми. ■ Нас наказанью не подвергнут».

Янә ул кәферләр әйттеләр: «Безнең балаларыбыз һәм малларыбыз күбрәктер, кыямәт көнендә без ґәзаб ителмәбез», – дип.

اور (یہ بھی) کہنے لگے کہ ہم بہت سا مال اور اولاد رکھتے ہیں اور ہم کو عذاب نہیں ہوگا

اور انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم مال و اولاد میں بہت زیادہ ہیں اور ہم پر عذاب نہیں کیا جائے گا،
