وَ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَ ما بَلَغُوا مِعْشارَ ما آتَيْناهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوا رُسُلِي فَكَيْفَ كانَ نَكِيرِ

و كذّب الّذين من قبلهم و ما بلغوا معشار ما آتيناهم فكذّبوا رسلي فكيف كان نكير

Wakaththaba allatheena min qablihim wama balaghoo miAAshara ma ataynahum fakaththaboo rusulee fakayfa kana nakeeri

و کساني که پيش از آنها بودند پيامبران را تکذيب کردند و اينان خود، به ده يک آنچه به آنها داده بوديم نرسيده اند ، و با اين حال پيامبران مراتکذيب کردند پس عقوبت من چه سخت بود

و كسانى كه پيش از آنان بودند، تكذيب پيشه كردند، و به يك دهم آنچه [از مكنت و نعمت به پيشينيان] آنان داده بوديم، نايل نشدند، آنگاه پيامبران مرا دروغزن شمردند، [بنگر] تا عقوبت من چگونه بود.

كسانى كه پيش از اينان بودند، پيامبرانشان را مورد تكذيب قرار دادند و ايشان هنوز به يك دهم آنچه (از مال و ثروت دنيا و اولاد) به آنان داده بوديم نرسيده‏اند. آنان كه پيامبران خدا را تكذيب كردند، بعذاب سخت من گرفتار شدند.

و کسانی که پیش از اینان بودند [آیات ما و پیامبران را] تکذیب کردند، و اینان به یک دهم قدرت و ثروتی که به آنان داده بودیم، نرسیده اند، پس پیامبرانم را تکذیب کردند [در نتیجه هلاکشان کردیم]؛ پس [بنگر] عذاب من چگونه بود؟

و تكذيب كردند آنانكه پيش از ايشان بودند در حاليكه نرسيدند ايشان بده يك آن نعمتها كه داده‏ايم به آنان و تكذيب كردند فرستادگانم را پس چگونه بود انتقام كشيدن من

و كسانى كه پيش از اينان بودند، [نيز] تكذيب كردند، در حالى كه اينان به ده‏يك آنچه بديشان داده بوديم نرسيده‏اند. [آرى،] فرستادگانِ مرا دروغ شمردند؛ پس چگونه بود كيفر من؟

و كسانى كه قبل از آنها بودند تكذيب كردند و اينها به يك دهم آنچه به آنها داده بوديم نرسيده‏اند، با اين حال رسولان مرا تكذيب كردند، پس مجازات من چه سخت بود.

و آنان كه پيش از ايشان بودند [نيز] تكذيب كردند، و [اين كافران‏] به ده يك آنچه ايشان را داديم، نرسيدند. پس پيامبران مرا بدروغ داشتند، [پس زود باشد ببينند كه كيفر] انكار من چگونه باشد.

و تكذيب كردند آنان كه بودند پيش از ايشان و نرسيدند بده يك آنچه داديم ايشانرا پس تكذيب كردند رسولان مرا پس چگونه بود كين و كيفر من

و كسانى كه پيش از آنان بودند [وحى ما را] دروغ انگاشتند. و به يك دهم آنچه به آنان داده بوديم، نرسيده‏اند. آن گاه رسولانم را دروغزن انگاشتند، پس [بنگر] كيفر من چگونه بود؟

کسانی که پیش از آنان بودند (نیز آیات الهی را) تکذیب کردند، در حالی که اینها به یک دهم آنچه به آنان دادیم نمی‌رسند! (آری) آنها رسولان مرا تکذیب کردند؛ پس ببین مجازات من (نسبت به آنها) چگونه بود!

و كسانى كه پيش از آنها بودند [پيامبران را] دروغگو شمردند، و [اين كافران قوم تو] به ده يك آنچه به آنان داديم نرسيده‏اند، ولى [آن كافران‏] پيامبران مرا به دروغ نسبت دادند، پس [بنگر كه‏] ناپسنديدن و كيفر من چگونه بود.

و تكذيب كردند آنان كه بودند پيش از ايشان و نرسيدند بده يك آنچه داديم ايشان را پس تكذيب كردند رسولان مرا پس چگونه بود كين و كيفر من

و تكذيب كردند آنان كه پيش از ايشان بودند و نرسيدند ده يك آنچه بديشان داديم و تكذيب كردند فرستادگانم را پس چسان است كين كشيدن من

و کفار پیش از اینان هم پیغمبرانشان را تکذیب کردند و این کافران امت تو به عشر آنچه به آن گذشتگان دادیم (از ثروت و جاه) نرسیدند، پس آنها که رسولان مرا تکذیب کردند چگونه به عذاب من گرفتار شدند (اینان هم مانند آنان به کیفر می‌رسند).

پيشينيانشان ايمان نياوردند، و اگرچه آنها حتي يک دهم (معجزه اي) را که ما به اين نسل داده ايم نديدند، وقتي به رسولان من ايمان نياوردند، به چه عقوبت سختي گرفتار شدند!

And those from before them lied/denied , and they did not reach one tenth what We gave/brought them, so they denied My messengers, so how was My severity/change (anger) ?

And those before them belied; these have not received one tenth (/th) of what We had granted to those (of old), yet they belied My Messengers, then how (terrible) was My denial (punishment)!

Those that were before them also cried lies, yet they reached not a tenth of what We gave them; they cried lies to My Messengers, and how was My horror!

Thus, too, gave the lie to the truth [many of] those who lived before them; and although those [earlier people] had not attained to even a tenth of [the evidence of the truth] which We have vouchsafed unto these [late successors of theirs], yet when they gave the lie to My apostles, how awesome was My rejection! [Sc., «And how much worse will fare the deniers of the truth to whom so explicit and so comprehensive a divine writ as the Quran has been conveyed!» My rendering of the whole of this verse is based on Razi’s interpretation, which differs from that of most of the other commentators.]

Zij die vr hen waren, beschuldigden hunnen profeet op dezelfde wijze van bedrog; maar deze verkregen niet het tiende gedeelte der rijkdommen en der sterkte welke wij aan de anderen schonken, en zij beschuldigden mijne gezanten van valschheid. Hoe gestreng was echter mijne kastijding.

And those before them had also denied, while they did not reach one tenth of what We have given to this generation, so they denied My messengers, how severe was My retribution!

Coloro che li precedettero già tacciarono di menzogna [le rivelazioni], mentre essi non hanno raggiunto nemmeno un decimo di quello [splendore] che concedemmo a quegli altri. Trattarono da bugiardi i Miei messaggeri. Quale riprovazione fu la Mia!

And those before them belied; these have not received one tenth (1/10th) of what We had granted to those (of old), yet they belied My Messengers, then how (terrible) was My denial (punishment)!

Те, которые были до них, сочли лжецами посланников. Они (мекканские многобожники) не получили даже десятой части того, что Мы даровали им, однако они сочли лжецами Моих посланников. Каким же было Мое обличение!

Те [народы], которые были до них, также не признавали [посланников], а эти (т. е. мекканские многобожники), хотя не обрели и десятой доли того, что Мы даровали прежним народам, тем не менее не признают Моих посланников. Как же [жестоко] Я покарал [их]!

And those before them rejected (the truth), and these have not yet attained a tenth of what We gave them, but they gave the lie to My messengers, then how was the manifestation of My disapproval?

Those before them denied, and these have not attained a tithe of that which We bestowed on them (of old); yet they denied My messengers. How intense then was My abhorrence (of them)!

Those before them said it was a lie, and these have not reached a tithe of what we had given them. And they said my apostles were liars, and how great a change was then!

Onlardan öncekiler de yalanladılar. Üstelik bunlar, ötekilerine verdiklerimizin onda birine bile ulaşamadılar. Resullerimi yalanladılar. Peki, benim azabım nasıl oldu!?

Those who have gone before them belied, yet they did not reach a tenth of what We gave them; yet they belied My Messengers. And how was (My) rejection (their destruction)!

Thus too, nations before them had rejected the Message. These people have not received a tenth of the power and wealth that We had bestowed upon them. Yet, when they denied My Messengers, (see) how awesome was My rejection!

Those before them disbelieved, and even though they did not see one-tenth of (the miracle) we have given to this generation, when they disbelieved My messengers, how severe was My retribution!

They also flourished before them, treated our apostles as impostors in like sort: but not to the tenth part of what we bestowed on them, have these attained. And yet when they charged my apostles with deceit, how terrible was my vengeance:

They who were before them in like manner accused their prophets of imposture: But these have not arrived unto the tenth part of the riches and strength which we had bestowed on the former: And they accused my Apostles of imposture; and how severe was my vengeance!

And those who were before them also rejected the truth and these have not attained even to a tenth of the power which WE gave them, but they rejected MY Messengers. So they shall see how terrible are the consequences of denying ME.

Jene, die vor ihnen waren, leugneten ebenfalls – und diese haben nicht den zehnten Teil von dem erreicht, was Wir jenen gegeben -, und doch ziehen sie Meine Gesandten der Lüge. Doch wie war (die Folge) Meiner Verleugnung!

Считали ложью (Наше Откровенье) ■ И те, кто был до них. ■ Но эти не достигли и десятой доли ■ Того, чем Мы (так щедро) одарили тех, – ■ И все ж посланников Моих они сочли лжецами. ■ Как страшен был тогда Мой гнев!

Мәккә мөшрикләреннән элек килгән кешеләр дә пәйгамбәрләрне ялганга тоттылар, шулай булса да, Мәккә мөшрикләре без әүвәлге кешеләргә биргән куәтнең вә гомернең уннан беренә дә ирешә алмадылар, ул әүвәлге кешеләр пәйгамбәрләребезне ялганга тоттылар, аларга каршы Безнең мәкеребез ничек булды, ягъни аларны ґәзаб белән тоттык.

اور جو لوگ ان سے پہلے تھے انہوں نے تکذیب کی تھی اور جو کچھ ہم نے ان کو دیا تھا یہ اس کے دسویں حصے کو بھی نہیں پہنچے تو انہوں نے میرے پیغمبروں کو جھٹلایا۔ سو میرا عذاب کیسا ہوا

اور اِن سے پہلے لوگوں نے بھی (حق کو) جھٹلایا تھا اور یہ اس کے دسویں حصّے کو بھی نہیں پہنچے جو کچھ ہم نے اُن (پہلے گزرے ہوؤں) کو دیا تھا پھر انہوں نے (بھی) میرے رسولوں کو جھٹلایا، سو میرا انکار کیسا (عبرت ناک ثابت) ہوا،
