وَ قَدْ كَفَرُوا بِهِ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَ يَقْذِفُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ مِنْ مَكانٍ بَعِيدٍ

و قد كفروا به من قبل و يقذفون بالغيب من مكان بعيد

Waqad kafaroo bihi min qablu wayaqthifoona bialghaybi min makanin baAAeedin

پيش از اين به او کافر شده بودند و به گمان خويش به او تهمت مي زدند،

و پيشتر هم به آن انكار ورزيده بودند، و از دوردستها، تيرى در تاريكى مى اندازند.

در حالى كه قبلا منكر آن بودند و نسنجيده نسبتهايى ميدادند كه بسيار بعيد بود.

[اینان] پیش از این [که در دنیا می زیستند] به حق کافر شدند، و ناآگاهانه و دور از معرفت و علم [درباره حق به عنوان اینکه شعر، جادو، افسانه خرافی و دورغ ساختگی است] سخن پراکنی می کردند.

و حقا نگرويدند به قرآن پيش از اين و مى‏افكندند بگمان (عالم آخرت را) از جايگاهى دور (كه دنياست)

و حال آنكه پيش از اين منكر او شدند، و از جايى دور، به ناديده [تير تهمت‏] مى‏افكندند.

پيش از اين به او كافر شدند و از دور به او تهمت زدند.

در حالى كه از پيش به وى كافر شده بودند، و بگمان [در حقّ محمّد] سخنانى مى‏گفتند كه از [حقيقت‏] سخت دور است.

و بحقيقت كافر بودند بآن از پيش و مياندازند به غيب از جائى دور

و به راستى كه پيش از اين به آن كفر ورزيدند. و از مكان دور به ناپيدا [تيرى‏] مى‏اندازند

آنها پیش از این (که در نهایت آزادی بودند) به آن کافر شدند و دورا دور، و غائبانه (و بدون آگاهی). نسبت‌های ناروا می‌دادند.

و حال آنكه پيش از اين به آن كافر شدند، و از جايگاهى دور- در دنيا- به ناديده- از روى جهل و گمان- سخن مى‏پراكندند.

و بحقيقت كافر بودند بان از پيش و مياندازند به غيب از جائى دور

حالى كه كفر ورزيدند بدان از پيش و مى افكنند به ناپيدا از جايگاهى دور

در صورتی که آنها پیش از این به حق کافر بودند و از جایی دور (از مقام علم و یقین) نسبت ناروا (ی جنون و سحر و کذب به رسول حق) می‌دادند.

آنها در گذشته آن را تكذيب كرده اند؛ آنها تصميم گرفته اند به جاي آن از حدس و گمان پيروي كنند.

And they had disbelieved with (in) Him from before, and they throw/hurl with the unseen/hidden from a far/distant place/position.

Indeed they did disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah, Islam, the Quran and Muhammad SAW) before (in this world), and they (used to) conjecture about the unseen (i.e. the Hereafter, Hell, Paradise, Resurrection and the Promise of Allah, etc. (by saying) all that is untrue), from a far place.

seeing they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a place far away?

seeing that aforetime they had been bent on denying the truth, and had been wont to cast scorn, from far away, on something that was beyond the reach of human perception? [The obvious implication is that man’s fate in the hereafter will be a consequence of, and invariably conditioned by, his spiritual attitude and the manner of his life during the first, earthly stage of his existence. In this instance, the expression «from far away» is apparently used in a sense similar to sayings like «far off the mark» or «without rhyme or reason», and is meant to qualify as groundless and futile all negative speculations about what the Quran describes as al-ghayb («that which is beyond the reach of human [or «a created being’s»] perception»): in this case, life after death.]

Nu zij hem te voren geloochend en de geheimen van het geloof gesmaad hebben, terwijl zij er zoo ver af waren?

And they had rejected it in the past; and they conjectured about the unseen from a place far off.

quando in precedenza erano miscredenti e da lontano rifiutavano l’invisibile?

Indeed they did disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah, Islam, the Quran and Muhammad SAW) before (in this world), and they (used to) conjecture about the unseen (i.e. the Hereafter, Hell, Paradise, Resurrection and the Promise of Allah, etc. (by saying) all that is untrue), from a far place.

Они не верили в это прежде и делали предположения из далекого места.

Они ведь и раньше не уверовали в это и высказывали сомнения в сокровенном, которое было далеким [от их постижения].

And they disbelieved in it before, and they utter conjectures with regard to the unseen from a distant place.

When they disbelieved in it of yore. They aim at the unseen from afar off.

They misbelieved before, and conjectured about the unseen from a distant place.

Daha önce inkâr etmişlerdi onu. Gayba taş atıp duruyorlardı o uzak yerden.

since they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a distant place?

They adamantly rejected the Truth before and they kept shooting the arrows of conjecture from faraway.

They have rejected it in the past; they have decided instead to uphold conjecture and guesswork.

When they had before denied it, and aimed their shafts at the mysteries from afar?

Since they had before denied him, and reviled the mysteries of faith, from a distant place?

They had disbelieved in it before, while they indulged in conjectures with regard to the unseen from a far off-place.

Wenn sie zuvor nicht daran geglaubt hatten? Und sie äußern Mutmaßungen von einem fernen Ort aus.

Прежде не верили они в него ■ И перекидывались мыслями о тайном, ■ Что (грезилось им) из далеких мест.

Алар дөньяда вакытларында иманны яки пәйгамбәргә, Коръәнгә вә ахирәткә, үлгәннән соң терелүгә ышануны инкяр итәләр иде, үзләрен белемле санап бик ерак булган яшерен нәрсәләрдән хәбәр биреп маташырлар иде. Ягъни барлыгы хак булган кыямәтне, җәннәтне, җәһәннәмне һәм пәйгамбәрне, Коръәнне ялган дип инкяр кылалар иде.

اور پہلے تو اس سے انکار کرتے رہے اور بن دیکھے دور ہی سے (ظن کے) تیر چلاتے رہے

حالانکہ وہ اس سے پہلے کفر کر چکے، اور وہ بِن دیکھے دور کی جگہ سے باطل گمان کے تیر پھینکتے رہے ہیں،
