وَ لَوْ نَشاءُ لَمَسَخْناهُمْ عَلى مَكانَتِهِمْ فَمَا اسْتَطاعُوا مُضِيًّا وَ لا يَرْجِعُونَ

و لو نشاء لمسخناهم على مكانتهم فما استطاعوا مضيّا و لا يرجعون

Walaw nashao lamasakhnahum AAala makanatihim fama istataAAoo mudiyyan wala yarjiAAoona

و اگر بخواهيم ، آنها را بر جايشان مسخ کنيم ، که نه توان آن داشته باشند که به پيش قدم بردارند و نه باز پس گردند

و اگر خواهيم آنان را در جايشان مسخ گردانيم، آنگاه نتوانند رفتارى كنند و نه باز گردند.

و اگر بخواهيم آنها را در جاى خودشان (در هر موقعيتى كه هستند) تغيير قيافه مى‏دهيم، آن گاه نمى‏توانند حركت كنند و نمى‏توانند برگردند.

و [نیز] اگر بخواهیم آنان را در جای خودشان مسخ می کنیم، [و به صورت جمادی خشک درمی آوریم] که نه بتوانند بروند و نه بازگردند،

و اگر بخواهيم البته مسخ مى‏كنيم ايشان را بر همان جاى كه نشسته‏اند پس نتوانند رفتن (از آن مكان بجاى ديگر) را و نه برگردند

و اگر بخواهيم، هرآينه ايشان را در جاى خود مسخ مى‏كنيم [به گونه‏اى‏] كه نه بتوانند بروند و نه برگردند.

و اگر بخواهيم درجا مسخشان مى‏كنيم تا نتوانند قدم از قدم بردارند و به عقب بازنگردند.

و اگر بخواهيم آنها را در جاى خودشان مسخ كنيم كه نه پيش رفتن توانند و نه بازگشتن.

و اگر ميخواستيم هر آينه مسخشان ميكرديم بر جايشان پس نتوانستندى رفتن و نه برميگشتند

و اگر بخواهيم آنان را بر جايگاهشان مسخ كنيم، پس نتوانند از آنجا بگذرند و [نيز] بر نمى‏گردند

و اگر بخواهیم آنها را در جای خود مسخ می‌کنیم (و به مجسمه‌هایی بی‌روح مبدّل می‌سازیم) تا نتوانند راه خود را ادامه دهند یا به عقب برگردند!

و اگر خواهيم هر آينه آنها را بر جايشان مسخ كنيم- به شكل زشتى چون بوزينه و خوك درآوريم-، پس نه پيش‏رفتن [و گذشتن از آنجا] توانند و نه [به صورت اول‏] بازگردند.

و اگر ميخواستيم هر آينه مسخشان مى‏كرديم بر جايشان پس نتوانستندى رفتن و نه برميگشتند

و اگر مى خواستيم هر آينه مسخ مى كرديم ايشان را (پيكرى ديگر مى آورديمشان)با فرمانروائيشان پس نتوانند رفتن را و نه بازگردند

و اگر بخواهیم همان جا صورت آنها را مسخ کنیم (تا به شکل سگان و بوزینگان شوند) که نه (از آن صورت یا از آن جا) بتوانند گذشت و نه (به صورت اول) بازگشت.

اگر بخواهيم، مي توانيم آنها را درجا ميخكوب كنيم؛ بنابراين آنها نه مي توانند به جلو حركت كنند و نه به عقب بازگردند.

And if We will/want We would have transformed them to worse shape/metamorphosed them on their capacity/place/position, so they were not able (of) passing/preceding/completing , and nor they return.

And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (into animals or lifeless objects) in their places. Then they should have been unable to go forward (move about) nor they could have turned back. (As it happened with the Jews see Verse : The Quran).

Did We will, We would have changed them where they were, then they could not go on, nor could they return.

And had it been Our will [that they should not be free to choose between right and wrong], We could surely have given them a different nature [Lit., «transformed [or «transmuted»] them».] [and created them as beings rooted] in their places, so that they would not be able to move forward, and could not turn back.] [I.e., if it had been God’s will that men should have no freedom of will or moral choice, He would have endowed them from the very beginning with a spiritually and morally stationary nature, entirely rooted in their instincts («in their places»), devoid of all urge to advance, and incapable either of positive development or of retreat from a wrong course.]

En indien het ons behaagde, zouden wij hen in andere gedaante kunnen hervormen; zij zouden niet instaat zijn te vertrekken, en zij zouden geen berouw gevoelen.

And if We wished, We can freeze them in their place; thus, they can neither move forward, nor go back.

E se volessimo li pietrificheremmo sul posto e non saprebbero né avanzare né ritornare indietro.

And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (into animals or lifeless objects) in their places. Then they should have been unable to go forward (move about) nor they could have turned back. (As it happened with the Jews see Verse 7:166 The Quran).

Если Мы пожелаем, то обезобразим их на их местах, и тогда они не смогут ни двинуться вперед, ни вернуться.

Если бы Нам было угодно, то Мы изменили бы их облик в том самом месте, где они находятся, и они не смогли бы ни пойти [вперед], ни вернуться [назад].

And if We please We would surely transform them in their place, then they would not be able to go on, nor will they return.

And had We willed, We verily could have fixed them in their place, making them powerless to go forward or turn back.

And if we pleased we would transform them in their places, and they should not be able to go on, nor yet to return.

Dilesek, onları oldukları yerde hayvana çeviririz. O zaman ne ileri gitmeye güçleri yeter ne de geri dönebilirler.

Had it been Our will We would have transmuted them (into monkeys, pigs and stones) where they were, so that they could neither go forward nor yet return.

And had We so Willed, We could have degraded them driven by instincts, powerless to advance or retreat in their potentials.

If we will, we can freeze them in place; thus, they can neither move forward, nor go back.

And, if we pleased, we would surely transform them as they stand, and they would not be able to move onward, or to return.

And if We pleased We could transform them into other shapes, in their places where they should be found; and they should not be able to depart: Neither should they repent.

And if WE had so willed, WE could have transformed them in their places, then they would not be able to move forward or turn back.

Und hätten Wir gewollt, Wir hätten sie verwandeln können, wo sie waren; dann wären sie nicht imstande gewesen, vorwärts oder rückwärts zu gehen.

Будь Наша воля, ■ Мы бы придали им недвижимую форму, ■ И не смогли б они тогда ни двигаться вперёд, ■ (Ни обратиться вспять).

Әгер теләсәк торган яки йөргән урыннарында аларның сурәтләрен алыштырыр идек, кайтырга да вә китәргә дә кадир булмаслар иде.

اور اگر ہم چاہیں تو ان کی جگہ پر ان کی صورتیں بدل دیں پھر وہاں سے نہ آگے جاسکیں اور نہ (پیچھے) لوٹ سکیں

اور اگر ہم چاہتے تو اُن کی رہائش گاہوں پر ہی ہم ان کی صورتیں بگاڑ دیتے پھر نہ وہ آگے جانے کی قدرت رکھتے اور نہ ہی واپس لوٹ سکتے،
