وَ لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنا رُسُلاً مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَصَصْنا عَلَيْكَ وَ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ لَمْ نَقْصُصْ عَلَيْكَ وَ ما كانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ بِآيَةٍ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ فَإِذا جاءَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ قُضِيَ بِالْحَقِّ وَ خَسِرَ هُنالِكَ الْمُبْطِلُونَ

و لقد أرسلنا رسلا من قبلك منهم من قصصنا عليك و منهم من لم نقصص عليك و ما كان لرسول أن يأتي بآية إلاّ بإذن اللّه فإذا جاء أمر اللّه قضي بالحقّ و خسر هنالك المبطلون

Walaqad arsalna rusulan min qablika minhum man qasasna AAalayka waminhum man lam naqsus AAalayka wama kana lirasoolin an ya/tiya bi-ayatin illa bi-ithni Allahi fa-itha jaa amru Allahi qudiya bialhaqqi wakhasira hunalika almubtiloona

پيش از تو پيامبراني فرستاده ايم داستان بعضي را برايت گفته ايم و، داستان بعضي را نگفته ايم و هيچ پيامبري را نرسد که آيه اي بياورد مگر به فرمان خدا و چون فرمان خدا در رسد به حق داوري گردد و آنان که بر باطل بوده اند آنجا زيان خواهند ديد

و به راستى پيش از تو پيامبرانى فرستاديم كه داستان بعضى از آنان را با تو گفته ايم، و داستان بعضى از آنان را با تو نگفته ايم، و هيچ پيامبرى را نرسد كه جز به اذن الهى معجزه اى بياورد; پس چون امر الهى فرارسد، داورى به حق انجام گيرد و باطل انديشان در آنجا زيان

و ما قبل از تو بسيار پيامبرانى (براى هدايت مردم) فرستاديم كه شرح حال بعضى را براى تو نقل كرديم و برخى را نقل نكرده‏ايم. هيچ پيامبرى آيه و معجزه‏اى، نياورد مگر با اذن خدا. پس هنگامى كه فرمان خدا برسد، بعدل و داد حكم خواهد شد و آنجاست كه نادرستان و ياوه سرايان ضرر خواهند ديد.

قطعاً پیش از تو پیامبرانی فرستادیم؛ سرگذشت گروهی از آنان را برای تو حکایت کرده ایم، و سرگذشت برخی را بیان نکرده ایم. هیچ پیامبری را نسزد که جز به اذن خدا معجزه ای بیاورد؛ بنابراین هنگامی که فرمان خدا [به عذاب دشمنان لجوج] برسد، بر پایه حقّ و درستی داوری خواهد شد و آنجاست که اهل باطل زیان خواهند کرد.

و بعزتم سوگند كه فرستاديم پيمبرانى پيش از تو برخى از ايشان كسانى‏اند كه خوانده‏ايم (داستانشان را) بر تو و برخى از ايشان كسانى‏اند كه نخوانده‏ايم (قصه آنان را) بر تو و نرسد پيمبرى را كه آورد معجزه‏اى مگر بفرمان خدا پس آندم كه بيايد فرمان خدا (بعذاب ايشان) داورى شود براستى و زيان كنند در آن هنگام نادرستان

و مسلّماً پيش از تو فرستادگانى را روانه كرديم. برخى از آنان را [ماجرايشان را] بر تو حكايت كرده‏ايم و برخى از ايشان را بر تو حكايت نكرده‏ايم، و هيچ فرستاده‏اى را نرسد كه بى‏اجازه خدا نشانه‏اى بياورد. پس چون فرمان خدا برسد به حق داورى مى‏شود، و آنجاست كه باطل‏كاران زيان مى‏كنند.

پيش از تو رسولانى فرستاديم، سرگذشت بعضى از آنها را براى تو بازگو كرديم و گروهى را نگفتيم. هيچ رسولى جز به اذن خدا نمى‏تواند آيه‏اى بياورد و چون فرمان خدا در رسد به حق داورى شود. در آن هنگام آنان كه بر باطل بودند زيان خواهند كرد.

و بيقين پيش از تو فرستادگانى فرستاديم، از آنها كسى است كه قصّه [او را] به تو گفتيم، و از آنها كسى است كه قصّه [او را] به تو نگفتيم: و هيچ فرستاده‏اى نبود كه آيتى بياورد مگر به فرمان خدا. پس چون فرمان خدا آيد براستى حكم شود و آنجاست كه باطل گويان زيانكار شوند.

و بتحقيق فرستاديم رسولانى پيش از تو از ايشان كس هست كه نقل كرديم بر تو و از ايشان كس هست كه نقل نكرديم بر تو و نبود رسولى را كه بياورد آيه را مگر باذن خدا پس چون آيد دستور خدا حكم شود بحق و زيان كنند آنجا باطل كيشان

و به راستى پيش از تو [هم‏] رسولانى فرستاديم. از [ميان‏] آنان كسى هست كه [داستانش را] بر تو خوانده‏ايم و از آنان كسى است كه [داستانش را] بر تو نخوانده‏ايم. و هيچ رسولى را نمى‏رسد كه معجزه‏اى در ميان آورد، مگر به فرمان خداوند. پس چون فرمان خدا [در ميان‏] آيد، به حقّ حكم شود و ژاژخايان آنجا زيان بينند

ما پیش از تو رسولانی فرستادیم؛ سرگذشت گروهی از آنان را برای تو بازگفته، و گروهی را برای تو بازگو نکرده‌ایم؛ و هیچ پیامبری حق نداشت معجزه‌ای جز بفرمان خدا بیاورد و هنگامی که فرمان خداوند (برای مجازات آنها) صادر شود، بحق داوری خواهد شد؛ و آنجا اهل باطل زیان خواهند کرد!

و هر آينه پيش از تو پيامبرانى فرستاديم، بهرى از ايشان آنانند كه داستانشان را بر تو گفتيم و داستان برخى را بر تو نگفتيم و هيچ پيامبرى را نرسد كه جز به خواست و فرمان خدا آيه‏اى بياورد پس آنگاه كه فرمان خدا بيايد بحق حكم كرده شود، و در آنجا ناراستان و ياوه‏گويان- كافران- زيانكار گردند.

و بتحقيق فرستاديم رسولانى پيش از تو از ايشان كس هست كه نقل كرديم بر تو و از ايشان كس هست كه نقل نكرديم بر تو و نبود رسولى را كه بياورد آيه را مگر باذن خدا پس چون آيد دستور خدا حكم شود بحق و زيان كنند آنجا باطل كيشان

و هر آينه فرستاديم فرستادگانى پيش از تو از ايشان است آنان كه داستان سروديم بر تو و از ايشان است آنان كه نخوانديم به داستان بر تو و نرسد پيمبرى را كه بيارد آيتى جز به دستور خدا تا هنگامى كه درآيد امر خدا داورى شود به حقّ و زيانكار شوند در آنجا تباه كاران

و همانا ما رسولان بسیاری پیش از تو فرستادیم که احوال بعضی را بر تو حکایت کردیم و برخی را نکردیم و هیچ رسولی جز به امر خدا نشاید معجز و آیتی (برای امت) بیاورد، و چون فرمان خدا (بر غلبه حقّ و محو باطل) فرا رسد آن روز (بر همه) به حق حکم کنند و آنجا کافران مبطل زیانکار شوند.

ما پيش از تو رسولاني فرستاده ايم- برخي از آنها را براي تو نام برديم و از برخي نام نبرديم. هيچ رسولي نمي تواند بدون مجوز از جانب خدا معجزه اي ارائه دهد. هنگامي كه حکم خدا صادر شود، حقيقت غالب مي شود و دروغگويان رسوا و خوار مي شوند.

And We had (E) sent messengers from before you, from them whom We relayed/informed on (to) you, and from them whom We did not relay/inform on (to) you; and (it) was not to a messenger that (E) He comes345with an evidence/verse/sign except with God’s permission , so if God’s order/command came, judgment was passed/ordered with the truth , and at that place and time the wasters/falsifiers lost .

And, indeed We have sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad SAW); of some of them We have related to you their story and of some We have not related to you their story, and it was not given to any Messenger that he should bring a sign except by the Leave of Allah. So, when comes the Commandment of Allah, the matter will be decided with truth, and the followers of falsehood will then be lost.

We sent Messengers before thee; of some We have related to thee, and some We have not related to thee. It was not for any Messenger to bring a sign, save by God’s leave. When God’s command comes, justly the issue shall be decided; then the vain-doers shall be lost.

And, indeed, [O Muhammad,] We sent forth apostles before thy time; some of them We have mentioned to thee, [I.e., in the Quran.] and some of them We have not mentioned to thee. And it was not given to any apostle to bring forth a miracle other than by God’s leave. [See 6:109 – «Miracles are in the power of God alone» – and the corresponding note. Both passages (6:109 and the present one) relate to the futile demand of Muhammad’s opponents to be shown a miracle in proof of the divine origin of the Quran – the implication being that it is not God’s will to convince the deniers of the truth by means of what is commonly regarded as «miracles».] Yet when God’s will becomes manifest, [Lit., «when God’s command comes, i.e., whether it be in this world or on the Day of Judgment:
a reference to the retribution spoken of in verse 77 above.] judgment will [already] have been passed in all justice, and lost will be, then and there, all who tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. [I.e., in this case, divine revelation as such. For the above rendering of al-mubtilun, see note on the last sentence of 29:48.]

Wij hebben vr u een groot aantal profeten gezonden; van sommige onder welke wij u de geschiedenissen hebben geopenbaard, en de geschiedenissen van andere hebben wij u niet medegedeeld; maar geen gezant heeft de macht een teeken voor te brengen, tenzij door het verlof van God. Als dus het bevel van God zal komen, zal het oordeel met waarheid worden uitgesproken, en dan zullen zij ten gronde gaan, die de teekens van God zonder uitwerking trachten te doen zijn.

And We have sent messengers prior to you. Some of them We mentioned to you, and some We did not mention to you. And it was not given to any messenger that he should bring a sign except by God’s leave. So, when God’s judgment is issued, the matter is decided with truth, and the followers of falsehood will be lost.

Già inviammo dei messaggeri prima di te. Di alcuni ti abbiamo raccontato la storia, di altri non te l’abbiamo raccontata. Un messaggero non può recare un segno se non con il permesso di Allah. Quando giunge l’ordine di Allah, tutto è deciso con equità e coloro che proferiscono menzogne saranno i perdenti.

And, indeed We have sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad SAW); of some of them We have related to you their story and of some We have not related to you their story, and it was not given to any Messenger that he should bring a sign except by the Leave of Allah. So, when comes the Commandment of Allah, the matter will be decided with truth, and the followers of falsehood will then be lost.

Мы уже отправляли посланников до тебя. Среди них есть такие, о которых Мы рассказали тебе, и такие, о которых Мы не рассказывали тебе. Все посланники показывали знамения только с дозволения Аллаха. Когда же явится веление Аллаха, будет вынесен истинный приговор, и тогда приверженцы лжи окажутся в убытке.

И до тебя Мы посылали посланников. О некоторых из них Мы рассказали тебе, о других же – не рассказывали. И ни одному посланнику не было дозволено творить знамения (т. е. чудеса) без соизволения Аллаха. Когда же будет ниспослано повеление Аллаха, то будет решено по справедливости, и окажутся тогда в убытке приверженцы лжи.

And certainly We sent messengers before you: there are some of them that We have mentioned to you and there are others whom We have not mentioned to you, and it was not meet for a messenger that he should bring a sign except with Allah’s permission, but when the command of Allah came, judgment was given with truth, and those who treated (it) as a lie were lost.

Verily We sent messengers before thee, among them those of whom We have told thee, and some of whom We have not told thee; and it was not given to any messenger that he should bring a portent save by Allah’s leave, but when Allah’s commandment cometh (the cause) is judged aright, and the followers of vanity will then be lost.

And we did send apostles before thee: of them are some whose stories we have related to thee, and of them are some whose stories we have not related to thee; and no apostle might ever bring a sign except by the permission of God; but when God’s bidding came it was decided with truth, and there were those lost who deemed it vain!

Yemin olsun, biz senden önce de resuller gönderdik. Onların bir kısmının hayat ve hatırasını sana anlattık, bir kısmının hayat ve hatırasından sana bahsetmedik. Hiçbir resulün, Allah’ın izni olmaksızın herhangi bir mucize getirmesi söz konusu olamaz. Allah’ın emri geldiğinde, hakla hükmedilir ve gerçeği hükümsüz kılmaya çalışanlar orada hüsrana uğrarlar.

We sent other Messengers before you; of some, We have already told you, of others We have not told you. Yet it was not for any Messenger to bring a verse except by the permission of Allah. And when the command of Allah comes the matter will be justly decided; and the vaindoers will be lost.

Yes indeed, We sent Messengers before you. Some of them We have mentioned to you, and some of them We have not mentioned to you. And none of the Messengers was given the authority to bring a Message or a Sign but by Allah’s leave. But when (the period of respite was over and) the Command of Allah came, the matter was decided in truth and justice. And there and then perished the upholders of falsehood.

We have sent messengers before you – some of them we mentioned to you, and some we did not mention to you. No messenger can produce any miracle without GOD’s authorization. Once GOD’s judgment is issued, the truth dominates, and the falsifiers are exposed and humiliated.

And we have already sent apostles before thee: of some we have told thee, and of others we have told thee nothing: but no apostle had the power to work a miracle unless by the leave of God. But when God’s behest cometh, everything will be decided with truth: and then they perish who treated it as a vain thing.

We have sent a great number of Apostles before thee; the histories of some of whom We have related unto thee, and the histories of others of them We have not related unto thee: But no Apostle had the power to produce a sign, unless by the permission of God. When the command of God, therefore, shall come, judgement shall be given with truth; and then shall they perish who endeavour to render the signs of God of no effect.

And WE, indeed, sent Messengers before thee; of them are some whom WE have mentioned to thee ; and of them are some whom WE have not mentioned to thee, and it is not possible for any Messenger to bring a Sign except by the leave of ALLAH. But when ALLAH’s decree comes, the matter is decided with justice and then there perish those who utter falsehoods.

Und sicherlich entsandten Wir schon Gesandte vor dir; darunter sind manche, von denen Wir dir bereits erzählten, und es sind darunter manche, von denen Wir dir noch nicht erzählten; und kein Gesandter hätte ein Zeichen bringen können ohne Allahs Erlaubnis. Doch wenn Allahs Befehl ergeht, da wird die Sache zu Recht entschieden, und dann sind die verloren, die der Falschheit folgen.

И до тебя, поистине, посланников Мы слали, ■ И Мы поведали тебе историю иных из них, ■ Историю других тебе не рассказали; ■ Но никому из них не подобало ■ Являть знамение иначе как с ■ Господнего соизволения. ■ Когда ж нисходит повеление Аллаха, ■ Решается по Истине оно, ■ И гибнут те, которые считают его ложью.

Ий Мухәммәд г-м синнән элек Без бик күп пәйгамбәрләр җибәрдек, ул пәйгамбәрләрнең бәгъзеләренең хәлләрен сиңа бәян иттек, вә бәгъзеләренең хәлләрен сиңа бәян кылмадык. Вә һичбер пәйгамбәргә бер могъҗиза яки бер аять белән килмәк лаек булмады, мәгәр Аллаһу тәгаләнең теләге белән генә килделәр. Әгәр кәферләргә ґәзаб белән Аллаһуның әмере килсә, пәйгамбәрләр белән кәферләр арасында гаделлек белән хөкем тәмам булды, әнә шул вакытта бидеґәтләрдән төзелгән батыл динне тотучылар һәлак булырлар, хәсрәттә ґәзабта калырлар.

اور ہم نے تم سے پہلے (بہت سے) پیغمبر بھیجے۔ ان میں کچھ تو ایسے ہیں جن کے حالات تم سے بیان کر دیئے ہیں اور کچھ ایسے ہیں جن کے حالات بیان نہیں کئے۔ اور کسی پیغمبر کا مقدور نہ تھا کہ خدا کے حکم کے سوا کوئی نشانی لائے۔ پھر جب خدا کا حکم آپہنچا تو انصاف کے ساتھ فیصلہ کردیا گیا اور اہل باطل نقصان میں پڑ گئے

اور بے شک ہم نے آپ سے پہلے بہت سے رسولوں کو بھیجا، ان میں سے بعض کا حال ہم نے آپ پر بیان فرما دیا اور ان میں سے بعض کا حال ہم نے (ابھی تک) آپ پر بیان نہیں فرمایا، اور کسی بھی رسول کے لئے یہ (ممکن) نہ تھا کہ وہ کوئی نشانی بھی اﷲ کے اِذن کے بغیر لے آئے، پھر جب اﷲ کا حکم آپہنچا (اور) حق و انصاف کے ساتھ فیصلہ کر دیا گیا تو اس وقت اہلِ باطل خسارے میں رہے،
