تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ لَها ما كَسَبَتْ وَ لَكُمْ ما كَسَبْتُمْ وَ لا تُسْئَلُونَ عَمَّا كانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

تلك أمّة قد خلت لها ما كسبت و لكم ما كسبتم و لا تسئلون عمّا كانوا يعملون

Tilka ommatun qad khalat laha ma kasabat walakum ma kasabtum wala tus-aloona AAamma kano yaAAmaloona

آنها امتهايي بوده اند که اکنون در گذشته اند آنچه کرده بودند از آن آنهاست و آنچه شما کنيد از آن شماست و شما را از اعمالي که آنها مي کرده اند نمي پرسند

اين امتى است كه درگذشته است، از اوست آنچه كرده است و از شماست آنچه كرده ايد، و با شما چون و چرا نكنند كه آنان چه كرده اند.

آنها امتى بودند كه درگذشتند. اعمال آنها براى آنها و اعمال شما براى شماست و شما مسئول اعمال آنان نخواهيد بود.

آنان گروهی بودند که درگذشتند، آنچه [از طاعت و معصیت] به دست آوردند مربوط به خود آنان است، و آنچه شما به دست آوردید مربوط به خود شماست؛ و شما در برابر آنچه آنان انجام می دادند، مسؤول نیستید.

اين (ابراهيم و فرزندانش) گروهى‏اند كه درگذشتند بسود ايشان است آنچه كسب كردند و براى شما (يهودان) است آنچه كسب كرديد و پرسيده نخواهيد شد از آنچه ايشان پيوسته مى‏كردند (بلكه ايشان و شما را بر عملها پاداش مى‏دهند)

آن جماعت را روزگار به سر آمد؛ دستاورد آنان براى آنان و دستاورد شما براى شماست؛ و از آنچه آنان مى‏كرده‏اند، شما بازخواست نخواهيد شد.

آنها امتى بودند كه درگذشتند و اعمالشان از آن خودشان است و اعمال شما از آن خودتان، از شما نمى‏پرسند آنها چه كرده‏اند.

آن امتى كه گذشتند، آنها را باشد آنچه كردند و شما را باشد آنچه كرديد و از شما بازخواست نشود آنچه كه آنها مى‏كردند.

آنها امتى بودند كه بحقيقت درگذشتند مر آنها راست آنچه كسب كردند و مر شما راست آنچه كسب كرديد و پرسيده نشويد از آنچه بودند ميكردند

اين امتى است كه در گذشته است. آن [امت‏] راست آنچه كرده‏اند و شما راست آنچه كرده‏ايد و از آنچه [آنان‏] مى‏كردند، بازخواست نمى‏شويد

آنها امتی بودند که درگذشتند. اعمال آنان، مربوط به خودشان بود و اعمال شما نیز مربوط به خود شماست؛ و شما هیچ‌گاه مسئول اعمال آنها نخواهید بود.

آنها گروهى بودند كه درگذشتند ايشان راست آنچه كردند و شما راست آنچه كرده باشيد و شما را از آنچه آنان مى‏كردند نپرسند.

آنها امتى بودند كه بحقيقت در گذشتند مر آنها راست آنچه كسب كردند و مر شما راست آنچه كسب كرديد و پرسيده نشويد از آنچه بودند ميكردند

اين است امّتى كه گذشت وى را است دست رنج او و شما را است دست رنج شما و پرسش نشويد از آنچه بودند مى كردند

آنها گروهی بودند که درگذشتند، هر کار نیک و بد کردند برای خود کردند و شما هم هر چه کنید برای خویش خواهید کرد و شما مسئول کار آنها نخواهید بود.

چنين است جامعه اي از گذشته. آنها براى آنچه كسب كردند، مسئولند و شما براى آنچه كسب مى كنيد، مسئول هستيد. شما جوابگوى هيچ يک از اعمال آنها نيستيد.

That is a nation had past for it what it earned/acquired and for you what you earned/acquired and you are not to (be) asked/questioned about what they were doing/making .

That was a nation who has passed away. They shall receive the reward of what they earned and you of what you earn. And you will not be asked of what they used to do.

وہ ایک امت تھی جو گزر چکی، ان کے لئے وہی کچھ ہوگا جو انہوں نے کمایا اور تمہارے لئے وہ ہوگا جو تم کماؤ گے اور تم سے ان کے اعمال کی باز پُرس نہ کی جائے گی،
