لَوْ لا يَنْهاهُمُ الرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَ الأَْحْبارُ عَنْ قَوْلِهِمُ الإِْثْمَ وَ أَكْلِهِمُ السُّحْتَ لَبِئْسَ ما كانُوا يَصْنَعُونَ

لو لا ينهاهم الرّبّانيّون و الأحبار عن قولهم الإثم و أكلهم السّحت لبئس ما كانوا يصنعون

Lawla yanhahumu alrrabbaniyyoona waal-ahbaru AAan qawlihimu al-ithma waaklihimu alssuhta labi/sa ma kanoo yasnaAAoona

از چه روي خدا پرستان و دانشمندان ، آنان را از گفتار بد و حرامخوارگي ، باز نمي دارند چه بد کارهايي مرتکب مي شدند

چرا علماى ربانى و احبار آنان را از سخنان ناشايسته شان و رشوه خوارى شان نهى نمى كنند؟ بس بد است كار و كردارشان.

چرا روحانيون و علماى قوم يهود آنها را از اداى سخنان گناه آميز و خوردن مال حرام، منع نميكنند؟ چقدر زشت و ناپسند است كارى كه انجام مى‏دهند.

چرا دانشمندان الهی مَسلک [و کاملان در دین] و عالمان یهود، آنان را از گفتار گناه آلود و حرام خواری بازنمی دارند؟ بسیار زشت است سکوتی که همواره پیش می گرفتند.

چرا باز نمى‏دارد ايشان را دانشمندان خدا ترس و زاهدان از گفتن ايشان خلاف حق را و خوردن ايشان مال حرام (رشوه يا ربا) را البته بدكارى است آنچه همواره مى‏كنند

چرا الهيّون و دانشمندان، آنان را از گفتار گناه‏[آلود] و حرامخوارگى‏شان باز نمى‏دارند؟ راستى چه بد است آنچه انجام مى‏دادند.

چرا خداشناسان و عالمان از گفتار گناه آلود و حرامخوارى بازشان نمى‏دارند؟ چه زشت كارى انجام مى‏دادند.

چرا خدا پرستان و دانايان [يهود]، ايشان را از گفتن دروغ و خوردن [مال‏] حرام باز نمى‏دارند، بتحقيق بد است آنچه مى‏كنند.

چرا بازنميدارند ايشانرا خدا پرستان و دانايان ديندار از گفتارشان بد را و خوردنشان حرام را هر آينه بد است آنچه هستند كه ميكنند

چرا عالمان ربّانى و دانشوران آنان را از سخن دروغشان و حرام خواريشان باز نمى‏دارند؟ چه بد است، آنچه مى‏كردند

چرا دانشمندان نصاری و علمای یهود، آنها را از سخنان گناه‌آمیز و خوردن مال حرام، نهی نمی‌کنند؟! چه زشت است عملی که انجام می‌دادند!

چرا مربيان خداپرست و دانشمندان، آنان را از گفتار گناه‏آلودشان- دروغگوييشان- و حرام‏خواريشان باز نمى‏دارند؟ هر آينه بد است آنچه مى‏سازند- مى‏كنند.

چرا باز نمى‏دارند ايشان را خداپرستان و دانايان ديندار از گفتارشان بد را و خوردنشان حرام را هر آينه بد است آنچه هستند كه مى‏كنند

چرا نهيشان نمى كنند خداپرستان و دانشمندان از گفتنشان گناه را و خوردنشان رشوت را چه زشت است آنچه بودند مى ساختند

چرا علما و روحانیون آنها را از گفتار زشت و خوردن مال حرام باز نمی‌دارند؟همانا کاری بسیار زشت را پیشه خود نمودند.

اگر فقط خاخام ها و كشيش ها آنها را از سخنان گناه آلود و درآمدهاي نامشروع باز مي داشتند! مسلماً، آنچه مرتکب مي شوند، باعث بدبختي است.

If only the knowledgeable lord worshippers and the religious scholars forbid/prevent them from their saying the sin/crime and their eating the forbidden/possessions acquired through cheatery ; how bad (E) (is) what they were producing/manufacturing ?

Why do not the rabbis and the religious learned men forbid them from uttering sinful words and from eating illegal things. Evil indeed is that which they have been performing.

Why do the masters and the rabbis not forbid them to utter sin, and consume the unlawful? Evil is the thing they have been working.

Why do not their men of God and their rabbis› forbid them to make sinful assertions and to swallow all that is evil? Vile indeed is what they contrive!

Indien hunne wetgeleerden en priesters het niet waren, die hun verboden zonden te begaan en ongeoorloofde spijzen te eten, welke verachtelijke daden zouden zij niet bedrijven!

Did not the Rabbis and Priests deter them for speaking evil and consuming money illicitly? Miserable indeed is what they had done.

Perché i rabbini e i preti non impediscono loro di peccare con la parola e di nutrirsi di illeciti guadagni? Quanto male c’è in quello che operano!

Why do not the rabbis and the religious learned men forbid them from uttering sinful words and from eating illegal things. Evil indeed is that which they have been performing.

Почему же раввины и первосвященники не удерживают их от греховных речей и пожирания запретного? Воистину, скверно то, что они творят.

О, если бы раввины и ученые мужи удерживали их от греховных речей и запретной пищи! Мерзко то, что они вершат!

Why do not the learned men and the doctors of law prohibit them from their speaking of what is sinful and their eating of what is unlawfully acquired? Certainly evil is that which they work.

Why do not the rabbis and the priests forbid their evil-speaking and their devouring of illicit gain? Verily evil is their handiwork.

The masters and their doctors prohibit them from speaking sin and eating unlawful things, – evil is what they have performed.

Ruhbanları ve hahamları onları, günah oluşturan sözlerinden, haram yemekten alıkoysalardı olmaz mıydı? Ne kötüdür onların sınaat/teknoloji olarak üretmekte oldukları.

Do those of the Lord and the rabbis not forbid them to speak sinfully and to devour what is unlawful? Evil indeed is what they were doing.

Why don’t the rabbis and the priests forbid them from their down-grading assertions and illicit earnings? Indeed condemnable is what they manufacture. (A great many religious leaders, rabbis, priests, monks, mullahs, yogis, and mystics devour the wealth of people deceptively, and hinder them from the Way of Allah (9:34)).

If only the rabbis and the priests enjoin them from their sinful utterances and illicit earnings! Miserable indeed is what they commit.

Had not their doctors and teachers forbidden their uttering wickedness, and their eating unlawful food, bad indeed would have been their doings!

Unless their doctors and priests forbid them uttering wickedness, and eating things forbidden; woe unto them for what they shall have committed.

Why do not the divines and those learned in Law prohibit them from uttering sin and eating things forbidden ? Evil indeed is that which they do.

Warum untersagen ihnen die Geistlichen und die Schriftgelehrten nicht ihre sündige Rede und ihr Essen des Verbotenen? Übel ist wahrlich, was sie treiben.

Так что ж раввинам и мужьям ученым ■ Не удержать их от (греховности) речей ■ И пожирания того, что недозволено (Законом)? ■ Как скверно то, что делают они!

Әгәр яһүдләрнең дингә бирелгән заһитләре вә дини галимнәре аларны Аллаһуга каршы булган яман сүзләрдән һәм хәрам ашауларыннан ныклап тыйган булсалар, нинди яхшы булыр иде! Ләкин тыймадылар. Аларның кылган эшләре бик тә яман.

بھلا ان کے مشائخ اور علماء انہیں گناہ کی باتوں اور حرام کھانے سے منع کیوں نہیں کرتے؟ بلاشبہ وہ بھی برا کرتے ہیں

انہیں (روحانی) درویش اور (دینی) علماء ان کے قولِ گناہ اور اکلِ حرام سے منع کیوں نہیں کرتے؟ بیشک وہ (بھی برائی کے خلاف آواز بلند نہ کر کے) جو کچھ تیار کر رہے ہیں بہت برا ہے،
