مَثَلُ الْفَرِيقَيْنِ كَالأَْعْمى وَ الأَْصَمِّ وَ الْبَصِيرِ وَ السَّمِيعِ هَلْ يَسْتَوِيانِ مَثَلاً أَ فَلا تَذَكَّرُونَ

مثل الفريقين كالأعمى و الأصمّ و البصير و السّميع هل يستويان مثلا أ فلا تذكّرون

مثل اين دو گروه مثل کور و کر و بينا و شنواست آيا اين دو به مثل باهم برابرند ؟ چرا پند نمي گيريد ؟

مثل اين دو گروه همانند نابينا و ناشنوا [از يك سو] و بينا و شنوا [از سوى ديگر] است، آيا با همديگر برابر و همانندند؟ پس چرا پند نمى گيريد؟

مثل اين دو گروه (كافران و مؤمنان) همانند مثل كور و كر و بينا و شنواست. آيا اين دو گروه مردم در مقايسه با هم برابرند؟ پس چرا متذكر حقايق نميشويد؟

وصف این دو گروه [مشرک و مؤمن] همانند نابینا و کر و بینا و شنواست؛ آیا [این دو گروه] در صفت و حال یکسانند؟ پس آیا متذکّر نمی شوید؟

صفت دو گروه (مؤمن و كافر) همچون صفت كور و كر و بينا و شنواست آيا اين دو گروه يكسانند از نظر صفت آيا پند نمى‏گيريد

مَثَلِ اين دو گروه، چون نابينا و كر [در مقايسه‏] با بينا و شنواست. آيا در مَثَل يكسانند؟ پس آيا پند نمى‏گيريد؟

مثل اين دو گروه مانند «كر و كور» و «بينا و شنوا» است، آيا اين دو يكسانند؟ پس چرا پند نمى‏گيريد؟

مثل اين دو گروه، مثل كور و كر و بينا و شنواست. آيا اين دو به مثل يكسانند؟ پس آيا پند نمى‏گيريد؟

مثل آن دو گروه چون كور و كر و بينا و شنوا است آيا يكسان ميباشند بمثل آيا پس پند نميگيرند

وصف اين دو گروه، مانند كور و كر، و بينا و شنواست. آيا در وصف يكسانند؟ آيا پند نمى‏پذيريد؟

حال این دو گروه [= مؤمنان و منکران‌]، حال «نابینا و کر» و «بینا و شنوا» است؛ آیا این دو، همانند یکدیگرند؟! آیا پند نمی‌گیرند؟!

داستان اين دو گروه داستان كور و كر و بينا و شنواست، آيا داستان اين دو همسان است؟ [هرگز!] پس آيا ياد نمى‏كنند و پند نمى‏گيرند؟

مثل آن دو گروه چون كور و كر و بينا و شنوا است آيا يكسان ميباشند بمثل آيا پس پند نمى‏گيرند

مثَل دو گروه مانند كور و كر و بينا و شنوا است آيا يكسانند در مثَل آيا يادآور نمى شويد

حال این دو گروه (کفر و ایمان) در مثل به شخص کور و کر و شخص شنوا و بینا مانند است، آیا حال این هر دو شخص یکسان است؟! پس چرا متذکر نمی‌شوید؟!

مثال اين دو گروه مانند مقايسه كور و كر است با بينا و شنوا. آيا آنها برابرند؟ آيا توجه نمي كنيد؟

The two groups’/parti es› example/proverb (is as) the blind, and the deaf, and the seeing , and the hearing , do they become (an) equal/alike example/proverb? So do you not mention/remember ?

The likeness of the two parties is as the blind and the deaf and the seer and the hearer. Are they equal when compared? Will you not then take heed?

The likeness of the two parties is as the man blind and deaf, and the man who sees and hears; are they equal in likeness? Will you not remember?

These two kinds of man 43 may be likened to the blind and deaf and the seeing and hearing. Can these two be deemed alike in [their] nature?» Will you not, then, keep this in mind?

دونوں فرقوں (یعنی کافرومومن) کی مثال ایسی ہے جیسے ایک اندھا بہرا ہو اور ایک دیکھتا سنتا۔ بھلا دونوں کا حال یکساں ہوسکتا ہے؟ پھر تم سوچتے کیوں نہیں؟

(کافر و مسلم) دونوں فریقوں کی مثال اندھے اور بہرے اور (اس کے برعکس) دیکھنے والے اور سننے والے کی سی ہے۔ کیا دونوں کا حال برابر ہے؟ کیا تم پھر (بھی) نصیحت قبول نہیں کرتے،
