وَ ما أَرْسَلْنا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ إِلاَّ رِجالاً نُوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْقُرى أَ فَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الأَْرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كانَ عاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَ لَدارُ الآْخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِلَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا أَ فَلا تَعْقِلُونَ

و ما أرسلنا من قبلك إلاّ رجالا نوحي إليهم من أهل القرى أ فلم يسيروا في الأرض فينظروا كيف كان عاقبة الّذين من قبلهم و لدار الآخرة خير للّذين اتّقوا أ فلا تعقلون

Wama arsalna min qablika illa rijalan noohee ilayhim min ahli alqura afalam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fayanthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena min qablihim waladaru al-akhirati khayrun lillatheena ittaqaw afala taAAqiloona

و ما پيش از تو به رسالت نفرستاديم مگر مرداني را از مردم قريه ها که به آنها وحي مي کرديم آيا در روي زمين نمي گردند تا بنگرند که پايان کار پيشينيانشان چه بوده است ؟ و سراي آخرت پرهيزگاران را بهتر است ، چرا نمي انديشيد ؟

و ما پيش از تو جز مردانى از اهل [همين] شهرها [به رسالت] نفرستاده ايم كه به آنان وحى مى كرديم; آيا در زمين سير و سفر نمى كنند كه بنگرند سرانجام پيشينيان آنان چه بوده است، و سراى آخرت براى پرواپيشگان بهتر است; آيا نمى انديشيد؟

و ما هيچكس را قبل از تو رسالت نفرستاديم مگر اينكه فرستادگان ما مردانى از اهل شهرها بودند كه بر آنان وحى ميكرديم. پس چرا در روى زمين نميگردند؟ (و كاوش علمى به عمل نمى‏آورند) تا ببينند سرانجام كسانى كه پيش از ايشان بودند، چگونه بود؟ سراى آخرت براى كسانى كه پرهيزكارى پيشه كنند، بسيار بهتر است. پس چرا عاقلانه فكر نميكنيد؟

و پیش از تو [بخاطر هدایت مردم] جز مردانی از اهل آبادی ها را که به آنان وحی می نمودیم نفرستادیم. آیا [مخالفان حق] به گردش و سفر در زمین نرفتند تا با تأمل بنگرند که عاقبت کسانی که پیش از آنان بودند [و از روی کبر و عناد به مخالفت با حق برخاستند] چگونه بود؟ و مسلماً سرای آخرت برای کسانی که پرهیزکاری کردند،بهتر است؛ آیا نمی اندیشید؟

و نفرستاديم پيش از تو (برسالت) مگر مردانى كه وحى مى‏كرديم بسويشان از اهل شهرها آيا كافران نمى‏گردند در سرزمين (عاد و ثمود) تا بنگرند (بديده عبرت) كه چگونه بود سر انجام كار آنانكه پيش از ايشان بودند و البته سراى آخرت بهتر است براى آنانكه پرهيز كردند (از شرك) آيا تعقل نمى‏كنيد (كه چنين است)

و پيش از تو [نيز] جز مردانى از اهل شهرها را -كه به آنان وحى مى‏كرديم- نفرستاديم. آيا در زمين نگرديده‏اند تا فرجام كسانى را كه پيش از آنان بوده‏اند بنگرند؟ و قطعاً سراى آخرت براى كسانى كه پرهيزگارى كرده‏اند بهتر است. آيا نمى‏انديشيد؟

ما پيش از تو نفرستاديم مگر مردانى از اهل قريه‏ها را كه به آنها وحى مى‏كرديم. آيا در روى زمين نمى‏گردند تا بنگرند سرانجام، پيشينيان چگونه بود و سراى آخرت براى پرهيزگاران بهتر است چرا فكر نمى‏كنيد؟

و پيش از تو نفرستاديم- از اهل شهرها- مگر مردانى كه بر ايشان وحى كرديم. پس آيا در زمين سير نكردند تا بنگرند كه سرانجام كسانى كه پيش از آنها بودند، چگونه بوده است. و البته سراى آخرت بر كسانى كه پرهيزگارى كردند بهتر است آيا نمى‏انديشيد؟

و نفرستاديم پيش از تو مگر مردانى كه وحى ميكرديم بايشان از اهل قريه‏ها آيا پس سير نمى‏كنند در زمين پس بنگرند چگونه بود انجام آنان كه بودند پيش از ايشان و هر آينه سراى آخرت بهتر است از براى آنان كه بپرهيزند آيا پس در نمى‏يابيد بعقل

و پيش از تو- جز مردانى را- از اهل شهرها نفرستاده‏ايم كه به آنان وحى مى‏كرديم. آيا در زمين نگشته‏اند تا بنگرند سرانجام پيشينيانشان چگونه شد؟ و به راستى سراى آن جهانى براى پرهيزگاران بهتر است. آيا در نمى‏يابيد؟

و ما نفرستادیم پیش از تو، جز مردانی از اهل آبادیها که به آنها وحی می‌کردیم! آیا (مخالفان دعوت تو،) در زمین سیر نکردند تا ببینند عاقبت کسانی که پیش از آنها بودند چه شد؟! و سرای آخرت برای پرهیزکاران بهتر است! آیا فکر نمی‌کنید؟!

و پيش از تو نفرستاديم مگر مردانى را از مردم شهرها كه بديشان وحى مى‏كرديم پس آيا در زمين، نگشته‏اند تا بنگرند كه سرانجام كسانى كه پيش از آنان بودند چگونه بود؟ و هر آينه سراى بازپسين براى پرهيزگاران بهتر است، آيا خرد را كار نمى‏بنديد؟

و نفرستاديم پيش از تو مگر مردانى كه وحى مى‏كرديم بايشان از اهل قريه‏ها آيا پس سير نمى‏كنند در زمين پس بنگرند چگونه بود انجام آنان كه بودند پيش از ايشان و هر آينه سراى آخرت بهتر است از براى آنان كه بپرهيزند آيا پس در نمى‏يابيد بعقل

و نفرستاديم پيش از تو جز مردانى كه وحى فرستاديم بسوى آنان از اهل شهرها پس آيا نمى گردند در زمين تا بنگرند چگونه بود فرجام آنان كه پيش از ايشان بودند و همانا خانه آخرت بهتر است براى آنان كه پرهيز كنند آيا بخرد نمى يابيد

و ما هیچ کس را پیش از تو به رسالت نفرستادیم جز آنکه رسولان همه (مانند تو) مردانی بودند از اهل شهرهای دنیا که به وحی ما مؤیّد شدند، (اینان که به انکار رسول به راه کفر و باطل می‌روند) آیا در روی زمین سیر نکرده‌اند تا عاقبت حال پیشینیانشان را (که چگونه هلاک شدند) بنگرند؟و محققا سرای آخرت برای اهل تقوا (از حیات دنیا) بسیار نیکوتر است، آیا تعقل نمی‌کنید؟!

ما پيش از تو نفرستاديم، جز مرداني را كه به آنها وحي كرديم. ايشان از ميان جوامع گوناگون انتخاب شده بودند. آيا در زمين سير نكردند و عاقبت كساني را كه پيش از آنها بودند، نديدند؟ سراي آخرت براي كساني كه زندگي پرهيزكارانه‌اي را در پيش مي ‌گيرند، به مراتب بهتر است. آيا عقل خود را به كار مي بنديد؟

And We did not send from before you except men We inspire/transmit to them from (about) the villages’/urban cities› people/relation , did they not walk/move/ride in the earth/Planet Earth, so they see/wonder about how was (the) end/turn (result of) those who (were) from before them, and the end’s (other life’s) home/house (E) (is) best to those who feared and obeyed, so do you not reason/understand/comprehend?

And We sent not before you (as Messengers) any but men, whom We inspired from among the people of townships. Have they not travelled through the earth and seen what was the end of those who were before them? And verily, the home of the Hereafter is the best for those who fear Allah and obey Him (by abstaining from sins and evil deeds, and by performing righteous good deeds). Do you not then understand?

We sent not forth any before thee, but men We revealed to of the people living in the cities. Have they not journeyed in the land? Have they not beheld how was the end of those before them?. Surely the abode of the world to come is better for those that are godfearing. What, do you not understand?

And [even] before thy time, We never sent [as Our apostles] any but [mortal] men, whom We inspired, [and whom We always chose] from among the people of the [very] communities [to whom the message was to be brought]. 105 Hav6, then, they [who reject this divine writ] never journeyed about the earth and beheld what happened in the end to those [deniers of the truth] who lived before them?-and [do they not know that] to those who are conscious of God the life in the hereafter is indeed better [than this world]? Will they not, then, use their reason?

Wij zenden u geene gezanten, behalve menschen, aan welke wij onzen wil openbaren en die wij kiezen onder hen die in steden wonen. Wilt gij niet de aarde rond trekken en zien wat het einde was van hen die u zijn voorafgegaan? Maar de woning van het volgende leven zal zekerlijk beter zijn voor hen die God vreezen. Wilt gij dus niet begrijpen?

And We have not sent before you except men, to whom We gave inspiration, from the people of the towns. Would they not roam the Earth and see how was the punishment of those before them? And the abode of the Hereafter is far better for those who are aware. Do you not comprehend?

Non inviammo prima di te altro che uomini abitanti delle città e che Noi ispirammo. Non viaggiano forse sulla terra e non vedono quale è stata la fine di coloro che furono prima di loro? Certo la dimora dell’altra vita è migliore per quelli che temono [Allah]. Non capite dunque?

And We sent not before you (as Messengers) any but men, whom We inspired from among the people of townships. Have they not travelled through the earth and seen what was the end of those who were before them? And verily, the home of the Hereafter is the best for those who fear Allah and obey Him (by abstaining from sins and evil deeds, and by performing righteous good deeds). Do you not then understand?

До тебя Мы направляли посланниками только мужей из селений, которым мы внушали откровение. Разве они не странствовали по земле и не видели, каким был конец тех, которые жили до них? Воистину, обитель в Последней жизни лучше для богобоязненных. Неужели они не разумеют?

И задолго до тебя Мы направляли [посланниками] с откровением только [смертных] мужей из их же селений. Разве они не странствовали по земле и не видели, чем кончили те, которые жили до них? Ведь обитель в будущей жизни лучше для богобоязненных. Неужели они не поймут этого?

And We have not sent before you but men from (among) the people of the towns, to whom We sent revelations. Have they not then travelled in the land and seen what was the end of those before them? And certainly the abode of the hereafter is best for those who guard (against evil); do you not then understand?

We sent not before thee (any messengers) save men whom We inspired from among the folk of the townships – Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them? And verily the abode of the Hereafter, for those who ward off (evil), is best. Have ye then no sense? –

Nor did we ever send before thee any save men whom we inspired, of the people of the cities. Have they not journeyed on in the earth, and beheld how was the end of those before them? But the abode of the future is surely better for those who believe;- what! have they then no sense?

Senden önce gönderdiklerimiz de kentler halkından kendilerine vahyettiğimiz bazı erlerden başkası değildi. Yeryüzünde dolaşmadılar mı ki, onlardan öncekilerin akıbeti nice oldu görsünler. Elbette ki âhiret yurdu sakınanlar için daha hayırlıdır. Hâlâ akıllarınızı kullanmayacak mısınız?»

We did not send any before you from the inhabitants of the village, but men to whom a revelation was sent. Have they not traveled in the land and seen what was the end of those before them? Better is the dwelling in the Everlasting Life for those who keep from evil. Do you not understand?

And even before your time, We never sent (as Our Messengers) but men to whom We revealed Our Messages. We always chose them from among the people of their own communities. Have they then never journeyed about the earth and seen what happened in the end to those who lived before them? And, don’t they know that those who walk aright, the life to come is better for them. Will they not then, use reason?

We did not send before you except men whom we inspired, chosen from the people of various communities. Did they not roam the earth and see the consequences for those before them? The abode of the Hereafter is far better for those who lead a righteous life. Would you then understand?

Never before thee have we sent any but men, chosen out of the people of the cities, to whom we made revelations. Will they not journey through the land, and see what hath been the end of those who were before them? But the mansions of the next life shall be better for those who fear God. Will they not then comprehend?

We sent not any Apostles before thee, except men, unto whom We revealed our will, and whom We chose out of those who dwelt in cities. Will they not go through the earth, and see what hath been the end of those who have preceded them. But the dwelling of the next life shall surely be better for those who fear God. Will they not therefore understand?

And WE sent not before thee as Messengers any but men to whom WE sent revelation, from among the people of the towns. Have they not then traveled in the earth so that they should see what was the end of those before them ? And surely, the abode of the Hereafter is better for those who fear ALLAH. Will you not then use you understanding ?

Auch vor dir entsandten Wir nur Männer, denen Wir Offenbarung gaben, aus dem Volk der Städte. Haben sie denn nicht die Erde durchwandert und gesehen, wie das Ende derer vor ihnen war? Und gewiß, die Wohnstatt des Jenseits ist besser für die Gottesfürchtigen. Wollt ihr denn nicht begreifen?

И до тебя Мы никого не посылали, ■ Помимо тех из жителей общин, ■ Кому Мы Откровение внушали. ■ Неужто по земле не ездили они, ■ Не видели того, каков конец был тех, ■ Которые до них (грешили)? ■ Обитель будущего – краше ■ Для тех, кто Господа страшится. ■ Ужель им не понять того?

Синнән элек җибәргән пәйгамбәрләребез дә үз шәһәрләреннән ирләрдер. Без аларга аятьләребезне вәхий кыладыр идек. Югыйсә, фәрештә түгел иделәр. Әйә алар җир өстендә сәяхәт кылып йөрмиләрме? Әгәр йөрсәләр, күрер иделәр әүвәлге кәферләрнең ахыры ничек булганын. Иман китереп Аллаһуга тәкъвалык кылган кешеләргә ахирәт йорты хәерледер, әйә шуны аңлый алмыйсызмы?

اور ہم نے تم سے پہلے بستیوں کے رہنے والوں میں سے مرد ہی بھیجے تھے جن کی طرف ہم وحی بھیجتے تھے۔ کیا ان لوگوں نے ملک میں سیر (وسیاحت) نہیں کی کہ دیکھ لیتے کہ جو لوگ ان سے پہلے تھے ان کا انجام کیا ہوا۔ اور متّقیوں کے لیے آخرت کا گھر بہت اچھا ہے۔ کیا تم سمجھتے نہیں؟

اور ہم نے آپ سے پہلے بھی (مختلف) بستیوں والوں میں سے مَردوں ہی کو بھیجا تھا جن کی طرف ہم وحی فرماتے تھے، کیا ان لوگوں نے زمین میں سیر نہیں کی کہ وہ (خود) دیکھ لیتے کہ ان سے پہلے لوگوں کا انجام کیا ہوا، اور بیشک آخرت کا گھر پرہیزگاری اختیار کرنے والوں کے لئے بہتر ہے، کیا تم عقل نہیں رکھتے،
