وَ عاداً وَ ثَمُودَ وَ قَدْ تَبَيَّنَ لَكُمْ مِنْ مَساكِنِهِمْ وَ زَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطانُ أَعْمالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَ كانُوا مُسْتَبْصِرِينَ

و عادا و ثمود و قد تبيّن لكم من مساكنهم و زيّن لهم الشّيطان أعمالهم فصدّهم عن السّبيل و كانوا مستبصرين

WaAAadan wathamooda waqad tabayyana lakum min masakinihim wazayyana lahumu alshshaytanu aAAmalahum fasaddahum AAani alssabeeli wakanoo mustabsireena

و عاد و ثمود را هلاک کرديم و اين از مسکنهايشان برايتان آشکار است شيطان کارهايشان را در نظرشان بياراست و آنان را از راه بازداشت و حال آنکه مردمي صاحب بصيرت بودند

و عاد و ثمود نيز; و [اين امر] به راستى از خانه ها و كاشانه هايشان بر شما روشن شده است; و شيطان كار و كردارشان را در چشم آنان آراسته جلوه داده بود و آنان را از راه [راست] باز داشته بود، حال آنكه باريك بين مى نمودند.

و (قبل از ايشان) قوم عاد و ثمود را هلاك كرديم. آثار مساكن آنان براى شما معلوم و آشكار است. (و آنها را بچشم مى‏بينيد) شيطان اعمال قبيح آنان را در نظرشان زيبا جلوه‏گر ساخت و آنها را از راه حق بازداشت با اينكه جماعتى بصير و آگاه بودند.

و [قوم] عاد و ثمود را [نیز نابود کردیم] ، و از خانه های [خراب شده و خالی] آنان [سرنوشت شومشان] برای شما نمایان است، و شیطان عمل های [زشت] آنان را برایشان آراست، در نتیجه آنان را از راه [خدا] باز داشت در حالی که [برای تشخیص حق از باطل] بصیرت داشتند.

و (نابود كرديم) قوم عاد و ثمود را و قطعا پديدار شد براى شما پاره‏اى از سراهاى ايشان و بياراست براى ايشان شيطان اعمالشان را و بازداشت ايشان را از راه راست (كه همان راه فطرت بود) در حاليكه ايشان بينا بودند

و عاد و ثمود را [نيز هلاك نموديم‏]. قطعاً [فرجام آنان‏] از سراهايشان بر شما آشكار گرديده است، و شيطان كارهايشان را در نظرشان بياراست و از راه بازشان داشت با آنكه [در كار دنيا] بينا بودند.

قوم عاد و ثمود را نيز هلاك كرديم كه سكونتگاههاى آنها برايتان آشكار است، شيطان اعمال آنها را در نظرشان بياراست و با اين كه بصيرت داشتند آنها را از راه بازداشت.

و [هلاك كرديم‏] عاد و ثمود را، و [هلاك ايشان‏] از جايگاههاى آنها براى شما هويدا است و [اما] شيطان اعمالشان را بر ايشان بياراست و ايشان را از راه [راست‏] باز داشت [با آنكه‏] باريك بينان بودند.

و عاد و ثمود را نيز و بحقيقت ظاهر شد بر شما از مسكنهاشان و آراست برايشان شيطان كردارشانرا پس بازداشت ايشانرا از راه و بودند بينندگان

و عاد و ثمود را [نيز نابود كرديم‏] و به يقين برخى از مسكنهايشان برايتان روشن شده است. و شيطان كارهايشان را برايشان آراسته جلوه داد و آنان را در حالى كه بينا بودند از راه [راست‏] باز داشت

ما طایفه «عاد» و «ثمود» را نیز (هلاک کردیم)، و مساکن (ویران شده) آنان برای شما آشکار است؛ شیطان اعمالشان را برای آنان آراسته بود، از این رو آنان را از راه (خدا) بازداشت در حالی که بینا بودند.

و عاد و ثمود را [نيز هلاك كرديم‏]، و همانا [اين هلاكت‏] براى شما از جايگاه‏هاى ايشان پديدار است، و شيطان كارهايشان را برايشان بياراست تا آنان را از راه [حق‏] باز داشت و بگردانيد، و حال آنكه بينا بودند.

و عاد و ثمود را نيز و بحقيقت ظاهر شد بر شما از مسكنهاشان و آراست برايشان شيطان كردارشانرا پس باز داشت ايشان را از راه و بودند بينندگان

و عاد و ثمود و بدرست پديدار شد براى شما از نشيمنيهاى آنان و بياراست براى ايشان شيطان كردارشان را پس بازداشتشان از راه حالى كه بودند بينايان

و قوم عاد و ثمود را که منازل (خراب و ویران) شان را به چشم می‌بینید آنها نیز با آنکه بینا و هوشیار بودند چون شیطان اعمال زشتشان را در نظرشان نیکو جلوه داد و از راه (حق) آنها را باز داشت همه را هلاک و نابود گردانیدیم.

مشابه آن، عاد و ثمود (هلاك شدند). اين از طريق خرابه‌هايشان به شما نشان داده شده است. شيطان اعمالشان را در نظرشان زيبا جلوه داده بود و آنها را از راه منحرف كرده بود، اگرچه چشم داشتند.

And Aad , and Thamud , and had been clarified/shown/explained to you from their residences, and the devil decorated/beautified for them their deeds , so he prevented/obstructed them from the road/path and they were seeing/knowing/understanding.

And Ad and Thamood (people)! And indeed (their destruction) is clearly apparent to you from their (ruined) dwellings. Shaitan (Satan) made their deeds fair-seeming to them, and turned them away from the (Right) Path, though they were intelligent.

And Ad, and Thamood — it has become clear to you from their dwelling-places; and Satan decked out fair to them their works, and barred them from the way, though they saw clearly.

AND [the tribes of] Ad and Thamud [See notes on 7:65, and 7:73.] [too, did We destroy -] as should have become obvious to you from [whatever there remains of] their dwellings. [As regards the tribe of Ad, the above seems to be an allusion to their one-time capital, the legendary «Iram the many-pillared» (mentioned in the Quran only once, namely, in 89:7). It has since been buried by the moving sand dunes of Al-Ahqaf (a region between Uman and Hadramawt, within the great South-Arabian desert of Rub al-Khali); it is said, however, that its traces are occasionally uncovered by strong winds. For an explanation of the reference to the dwellings of the Thamud, see note on 7:74.] [They perished] because Satan had made their [sinful] doings seem goodly to them, and thus had barred them from the path [of God] despite their having been endowed with the ability to perceive the truth. [Thus, the Quran implies that it is man’s «ability to perceive the truth» (istibsar) that makes him morally responsible for his doings and, hence, for his failure to resist his own evil impulses – which is evidently the meaning of «Satan» in this context. See in this connection 14:22 and the corresponding notes.]

En wij verdelgden ook de stammen van Ad en Thamoed; en gij weet wel wat er nog van hunne woningen is overgebleven. En Satan deed hen hunne werken goed vinden en wendde hen zijwaarts van den weg der waarheid, hoewel zij doorzicht hadden.

And ‹Aad and Thamud. Much was made apparent to you from their dwellings. The devil had adorned their works in their eyes, thus he diverted them from the path, even though they could see.

Ugualmente [accadde] agli ‹Ad e i Thamûd; prova ne siano, per voi, le loro abitazioni. Satana abbellì agli occhi loro le loro azioni e li sviò dalla retta via nonostante fossero stati invitati ad essere lucidi.

And Ad and Thamood (people)! And indeed (their destruction) is clearly apparent to you from their (ruined) dwellings. Shaitan (Satan) made their deeds fair-seeming to them, and turned them away from the (Right) Path, though they were intelligent.

А также адиты и самудяне! Вам это ясно по их жилищам. Сатана представил им их деяния прекрасными и сбил их с пути, хотя они были проницательны.

[Мы ниспослали гибель] также ‹адитам и самудянам – вам видно [все это] по [развалинам] их жилищ. Шайтан представил им их деяния в выгодном свете и сбил их с [правого] пути, хотя они видели[все воочию].

And (We destroyed) Ad and Samood, and from their dwellings (this) is apparent to you indeed; and the Shaitan made their deeds fair-seeming to them, so he kept them back from the path, though they were endowed with intelligence and skill,

And (the tribes of) A’ad and Thamud! (Their fate) is manifest unto you from their (ruined and deserted) dwellings. Satan made their deeds seem fair unto them and so debarred them from the Way, though they were keen observers.

And ‹Ad and Thamud – but it is plain to you from their habitations; for Satan made seemly to them their works, and turned them from the way, sagacious though they were!

Âd’ı, Semûd’u da böyle yaptık. Bu, onların yurtlarından/meskenlerinden açıkça belli olmaktadır. Şeytan onlara amellerini süsleyip püslemişti de kendilerini yoldan çıkarmıştı. Oysaki, bakıp görebilen insanlardı.

Aad and Thamood, it has become clear to you from their dwellings; satan made their works seem fair to them and barred them from the Path, although they saw clearly.

And (the tribes of) Aad and Thamud! Their fate is manifest to you from their ruined dwellings. Satan had made their doings seem goodly to them, and thus had barred them from the Path. And they were people who were endowed with vision!

Similarly, ‹Aad and Thamoud (were annihilated). This is made manifest to you through their ruins. The devil had adorned their works in their eyes, and had diverted them from the path, even though they had eyes.

And we destroyed Ad and Themoud. Already is this made plain to you in the ruins of their dwellings. For Satan had made their own works fair seeming to them, and drew them from the right path, keen-sighted though they were.

And We also destroyed the tribes of Ad, and Thamud; and this is well known unto you from what yet remains of their dwellings. And Satan prepared their works for them, and turned them aside from the way of truth; although they were sagacious people.

And WE destroyed Ad and Thamud; and it is evident to you from their dwelling places. And Satan made their deeds appear attractive to them, and thus turned them away from the right path, sagacious though they were.

Und (Wir vernichteten) die Àd und die Thamüd; und es ist klar ersichtlich für euch aus ihren Wohnstätten.Satan ließ ihnen ihre Werke wohlgefällig erscheinen und machte sie abwendig von dem Pfad, wiewohl sie gute Beobachter waren.

И (за подобные грехи) ■ Мы кару на адитов низвели ■ И на людей Самуд. ■ И по (остаткам) их жилищ ■ Вам ясны (судьбы тех народов). ■ Им Сатана дела их разукрасил ■ И свел с (Господнего) пути, – ■ А были ведь они так проницательны и так разумны!

Дәхи Гад, Сәмуд кавемнәрен дә һәлак иттек, ий мөшрикләр, аларның һәлак булган урыннары сезгә белдерелде, шайтан аларга батыл эшләрен зиннәтле итеп күрсәтте, вә аларны пәйгамбәрләре күрсәткән хак юлдан чыгарып адашу юлына кертте, бит алар гакыл вә басыйрәт ияләре иделәр, Аллаһ биргән белемне хак юлга кулланмыйча, һәлак булдылар.

اور عاد اور ثمود کو بھی (ہم نے ہلاک کر دیا) چنانچہ اُن کے (ویران گھر) تمہاری آنکھوں کے سامنے ہیں اور شیطان نے اُن کے اعمال ان کو آراستہ کر دکھائے اور ان کو (سیدھے) رستے سے روک دیا۔ حالانکہ وہ دیکھنے والے (لوگ )تھے

اور عاد اور ثمود کو (بھی ہم نے ہلاک کیا) اور بیشک ان کے کچھ (تباہ شدہ) مکانات تمہارے لیئے (بطورِ عبرت) ظاہر ہو چکے ہیں اور شیطان نے ان کے اَعمالِ بد، ان کے لئے خوش نما بنا دیئے تھے اورانہیں (حق کی) راہ سے پھیر دیا تھا حالانکہ وہ بینا و دانا تھے،
