وَ قارُونَ وَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَ هامانَ وَ لَقَدْ جاءَهُمْ مُوسى بِالْبَيِّناتِ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الأَْرْضِ وَ ما كانُوا سابِقِينَ

و قارون و فرعون و هامان و لقد جاءهم موسى بالبيّنات فاستكبروا في الأرض و ما كانوا سابقين

Waqaroona wafirAAawna wahamana walaqad jaahum moosa bialbayyinati faistakbaroo fee al-ardi wama kanoo sabiqeena

و نيز قارون و فرعون و هامان را که موسي با دليلهاي روشن خود نزد آنها، آمد آنها در زمين سرکشي مي کردند ولي نتوانستند از خدا بگريزند

و قارون و فرعون و هامان نيز; كه موسى براى آنان پديده هاى روشنگر آورد، آنگاه در آن سرزمين استكبار ورزيدند و پيشتاز نبودند.

قارون و فرعون و هامان را هلاك كرديم. البته قبلا موسى با حجتى روشن براى هدايت آنها آمد. باز در زمين (بر مستضعفين) تكبر و ظلم بسيار روا داشتند. اما نتوانستند (بر حكم خدا) پيشى بگيرند.

و قارون و فرعون و هامان را [نیز نابود کردیم]. و همانا موسی برای آنان دلایل روشن آورد، پس آنان در زمین تکبّر و سرکشی کردند، ولی پیشی گیرنده [بر اراده و قضا و قدر ما] نبودند [تا بتوانند از عذاب ما بگریزند.]

و (نابود كرديم) قارون و فرعون و هامان را و بعزتم سوگند كه البته آمد بسويشان موسى با حجتهاى روشن (و معجزه‏هاى هويدا) پس سركشى كردند در آن سرزمين و نبودند ايشان پيشى گيرندگان (بر حكم خدا بلكه عذاب ايشان را دريافت)

و قارون و فرعون و هامان را [هم هلاك كرديم‏]. و به راستى موسى‏ براى آنان دلايل آشكار آورد، و[لى آنها] در آن سرزمين سركشى نمودند و [با اين همه بر ما] پيشى نجستند.

موسى معجزاتى را براى قارون و فرعون و هامان آورد، اما آنها در زمين سركشى مى‏كردند ولى نتوانستند از خدا بگريزند،

و [هلاك كرديم‏]: قارون و فرعون و هامان را، كه موسى با معجزه‏ها بسويشان آمد آنها در زمين تكبر كردند و [ليكن بر خدا] پيشى نگرفتند.

و قارون و فرعون و هامانرا و بتحقيق آمد ايشانرا موسى با معجزه‏ها پس سركشى كردند در زمين و نبودند پيشى گيرندگان

و قارون و فرعون و هامان [را نيز نابود كرديم‏] و به راستى موسى با [نشانه‏هاى‏] روشن نزد آنان آمده بود، پس در آن سرزمين استكبار ورزيدند و پيشرو نبودند

و «قارون» و «فرعون» و «هامان» را نیز هلاک کردیم؛ موسی با دلایل روشن به سراغشان آمد، امّا آنان در زمین برتری جویی کردند، ولی نتوانستند بر خدا پیشی گیرند!

و قارون و فرعون و هامان را [نيز هلاك كرديم‏]، و هر آينه موسى با نشانه‏هاى روشن نزد آنها آمد پس در زمين سركشى و بزرگ‏منشى نمودند و پيشى‏گيرندگان نبودند- نتوانستند بر عذاب خداوند پيشى گيرند و از آن بگريزند-.

و قارون و فرعون و هامان را و بتحقيق آمد ايشان را موسى با معجزه‏ها پس سركشى كردند در زمين و نبودند پيشى گيرندگان

و قارون و فرعون و هامان و همانا بيامدشان موسى با نشانيها پس سركشى ورزيدند در زمين و نبودند پيشى گيرندگان

و قارون و فرعون و هامان را هم که موسی (علیه السّلام) با معجزات روشن به هدایت آنها آمد (و به او نگرویدند و) باز در زمین تکبر و ظلم و طغیان کردند (همه را هلاک کردیم) و (بر قهر حق) سبقت نگرفتند (و راه نجاتی نیافتند).

همچينن قارون، فرعون و هامان؛ موسي با نشانه‌هاي روشن نزد آنها رفت، اما آنها به ظلم و استبداد در زمين ادامه دادند. درنتيجه، نتوانستند (از عذاب) بگريزند.

And Qaroon/Korah , and Pharaoh and Haman , and had come to them Moses with the evidences, so they became arrogant in the earth/Planet Earth, and they were not racing/surpassing/preceding.

And (We destroyed also) Qaroon (Korah), Firaun (Pharaoh), and Haman. And indeed Moosa (Moses) came to them with clear Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), but they were arrogant in the land, yet they could not outstrip Us (escape Our punishment).

And Korah, and Pharaoh, and Haman; Moses came to them with the clear signs, but they waxed proud in the earth, yet they outstripped Us not.

And [thus, too, did We deal with] Qarun and Pharaoh, and Haman: [As regards Qarun, see 28:76 ff. and, in the corresponding note; for Haman, note on 28:6. The common denominator between these two and Pharaoh is their false pride (takabbur) and arrogance (istikbar), which cause them to become «archetypes of evil» (cf. 28:41 and the corresponding note). A similar attitude of mind is said to have been characteristic of the tribes of Ad and Thamud, mentioned in the preceding verse.] to them had come Moses with all evidence of the truth, but they behaved arrogantly on earth [and rejected him]; and withal, they could not escape [Us].

Ook verdelgden wij Karoen, en Pharao en Haman. Mozes kwam tot hem met duidelijke wonderen. Zij gedroegen zich echter onbeschaamd op de aarde; maar zij konden onze wraak niet ontkomen.

And Qaaroon, and Pharaoh, and Haamaan; Moses went to them with clear proofs. But they became arrogant in the land, and they were not the first.

Ugualmente [accadde] a Qârûn e Faraone e Hâmân, quando Mosè portò loro le prove, ma furono superbi sulla terra. Non poterono sfuggirci.

And (We destroyed also) Qaroon (Korah), Firaun (Pharaoh), and Haman. And indeed Moosa (Moses) came to them with clear Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), but they were arrogant in the land, yet they could not outstrip Us (escape Our punishment).

А также Карун (Корей), Фараон и Хаман! Муса (Моисей) явился к ним с ясными знамениями, но они превознеслись на земле и не смогли опередить наказание.

[Мы подвергли гибели] также Каруна, Фир’ауна и Хамана. К ним явился Муса с ясными знамениями, но их обуяла гордыня, и они не избегли [Нашей кары] на земле.

And (We destroyed) Qaroun and Firon and Haman; and certainly Musa came to them with clear arguments, but they behaved haughtily in the land; yet they could not outstrip (Us).

And Korah, Pharaoh and Haman! Moses came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah’s Sovereignty), but they were boastful in the land. And they were not winners (in the race).

And Korah and Pharaoh and Haman – Moses did come to them with manifest signs, but they were too big with pride in the earth, although they could not outstrip us!

Karun’u, Firavun’u, Hâmân’ı da öyle yaptık. Yemin olsun, Mûsa onlara açık-seçik kanıtlarla geldiği halde, yeryüzünde büyüklük tasladılar. Ama öne geçemezlerdi.

And Korah, Pharaoh, and Haman Moses came to them with clear signs, but they became very insolent in the earth, yet they did not outstrip Us.

And such is the story of Qaroon (Korah) and Pharaoh and Haman! (They represented wealth, tyranny and priesthood, respectively, that go hand in hand in exploiting people). To them had come Moses with all evidence of the Truth, but they remained arrogant in the land. And surely, they could not escape. (28:6), (28:76).

Also Qaaroon, Pharaoh, and Hamaan; Moses went to them with clear signs. But they continued to commit tyranny on earth. Consequently, they could not evade (the retribution).

And Corah and Pharaoh and Haman. With proofs of his mission did Moses come to them, and they behaved proudly on the earth; but us they could not outstrip;

And We likewise destroyed Karun, and Pharaoh, and Haman. Moses came unto them with evident miracles; and they behaved themselves insolently in the earth: But they could not escape our vengeance.

And WE destroyed Korah and Pharaoh and Haman. And Moses did come to them with manifest Signs, but they behaved arrogantly in the land, yet they could not outstrip Us.

Und (Wir vernichteten) Korah und Pharao und Hámán. Moses kam wahrlich zu ihnen mit offenbaren Zeichen, doch sie betrugen sich hoffärtig auf Erden, (Uns) aber konnten sie nicht entrinnen.

(Мы кару низвели и) на К’аруна, Фараона и Хамана. ■ Пришел к ним с ясными знамениями Муса, – ■ Они же возгордились на земле, ■ Но не сумели Нас опередить ■ (И избежать ответной кары):

Вә Карунны вә Фиргаунне һәм Һаманны һәлак иттек, Муса аларга ачык аңлатмалар белән килгән иде, алар исә Мысыр җирендә тәкәбберләнделәр, Безнең ґәзабтан котыла алмадылар.

اور قارون اور فرعون اور ہامان کو بھی (ہلاک کر دیا) اور اُن کے پاس موسٰی کھلی نشانی لےکر آئے تو وہ ملک میں مغرور ہوگئے اور ہمارے قابو سے نکل جانے والے نہ تھے

اور (ہم نے) قارون اور فرعون اور ہامان کو (بھی ہلاک کیا) اور بیشک موسٰی (علیہ السلام) ان کے پاس واضح نشانیاں لے کر آئے تھے تو انہوں نے ملک میں غرور و سرکشی کی اور وہ (ہماری گرفت سے) آگے بڑھ جانے والے نہ تھے،
