ما آمَنَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْناها أَ فَهُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ

ما آمنت قبلهم من قرية أهلكناها أ فهم يؤمنون

Ma amanat qablahum min qaryatin ahlaknaha afahum yu/minoona

پيش از آنها مردم قريه اي را که هلاک کرديم ايمان نياورده بودند آيااينان ، ايمان مي آورند ؟

پيش از آنان هم اهل هيچ شهرى كه [بعده] نابودش كرديم، ايمان نياورده بودند، آيا آن وقت اينان ايمان مى آورند؟

ما قبل از ايشان مردم شهرى كه (پس از مشاهده معجزه) ايمان نياوردند، هلاك كرديم. آيا مشركين مكه (بعد از نزول معجزه) ايمان خواهند آورد؟

پیش از آنان [اهل] هیچ شهری که آن را نابود کردیم [با دیدن معجزه] ایمان نیاوردند؛ پس آیا اینان ایمان می آورند؟!

ايمان نياوردند (به معجزاتى كه خواسته بود) پيش از مشركان (مكه) مردم هيچ شهرى كه نابودشان كرديم آيا ايشان مى‏گروند

قبل از آنان [نيز مردم‏] هيچ شهرى -كه آن را نابود كرديم- [به آيات ما] ايمان نياوردند. پس آيا اينان [به معجزه‏] ايمان مى‏آورند؟

پيش از آنها ديارهاى آبادى را كه ايمان نياوردند، نابود ساختيم آيا ايشان ايمان مى‏آورند؟

ايمان نياوردند [اهل‏] هيچ قريه‏اى كه ما پيش از ايشان آنها را هلاك كرديم. پس آيا اينان ايمان خواهند آورد؟

نگرويدند پيش از ايشان هيچ قريه كه هلاك كرديم آنرا آيا پس ايشان ميگروند

پيش از آنان [مردم‏] هيچ شهرى كه [اهل‏] آن را نابود كرديم، ايمان نياورده بودند. آيا اينان ايمان مى‏آورند؟

تمام آبادیهایی که پیش از اینها هلاک کردیم (تقاضای معجزات گوناگون کردند،و خواسته آنان عملی شد، ولی) هرگز ایمان نیاوردند؛ آیا اینها ایمان می‌آورند؟!

پيش از آنان [مردم‏] هيچ آبادى و شهرى كه آن را هلاك كرديم ايمان نياوردند آيا اينها ايمان مى‏آورند؟!

نگرويدند پيش از ايشان هيچ قريه كه هلاك كرديم آنرا آيا پس ايشان مى‏گروند

ايمان نياورد پيش از ايشان شهرى كه نابودش ساختيم پس آيا اينان ايمان مى آورند

پیش از اهل مکه هم ما اهل هر شهری که ایمان (به خدا و روز قیامت) نیاوردند همه را هلاک کردیم آیا اهل مکه ایمان خواهند آورد؟

ما هرگز در گذشته، جامعه باايماني را هلاك نكرديم. آيا اين مردم مؤمن هستند؟

None from a village/urban city before them believed, (that) We made it die/destroyed it , so are they believing?

Not one of the towns (populations), of those which We destroyed, believed before them (though We sent them signs), will they then believe?

Not one city that We destroyed before them believed; what then, will they not believe?

Not one of the communities that We destroyed in bygone times [Lit., «before them».] would ever believe [their prophets]: will these, then, [be more willing to] believe? [The downfall of those communities of old – frequently referred to in the Quran – was invariably due to the fact that they had been resolved to ignore all spiritual truths which militated against their own, materialistic concept of life: is it, then (so the Quranic argument goes), reasonable to expect that the opponents of the Prophet Muhammad, who are similarly motivated, would be more willing to consider his message on its merits?]

Geene der steden welke wij verdelgd hebben, geloofde de wonderen welke zij voor hunne oogen zagen geschieden. Zullen deze dus gelooven indien zij een wonder zien?

None of the towns which We destroyed before them had believed. Will they believe?

Tutte le comunità che facemmo perire prima di loro non credettero. Crederanno questi?

Not one of the towns (populations), of those which We destroyed, believed before them (though We sent them signs), will they then believe?

Ни одно из селений, которые Мы погубили до них, не уверовало. Неужели они уверуют?

[Жители] ни одного из селений, которые мы подвергли гибели задолго до них, не уверовали.

There did not believe before them any town which We destroyed, will they then believe?

Not a township believed of those which We destroyed before them (though We sent them portents): would they then believe?

No city before them which we destroyed believed – how will they believe?

Onlardan önce yere batırdığımız hiçbir yurt ve uygarlık iman etmemiştir. Onlar mı iman edecekler!…

Of the villages We destroyed, there was not one that believed. What, will they not believe?

Not one of the communities before them which Our Law destroyed, believed (in their Messengers). Will these, then, believe?

We never annihilated a believing community in the past. Are these people believers?

Before their time, none of the cities which we have destroyed, believed: will these men, then, believe?

None of the cities which We have destroyed, believed the miracles which they saw performed, before them: Will these therefore believe, if they see a miracle?

No township, before them, which WE destroyed, ever believed. Would they then believe ?

Nie hat vor ihnen irgendeine Stadt je geglaubt, die Wir zerstörten. Würden sie denn glauben?

И ни единое (людское) поселенье, ■ Что погубили Мы (до них), ■ Не верило (в Послание Господне), – ■ Неужто же уверуют они?

Бу кәферләрдән элек һичбер шәһәр кешеләре иман китермәделәр, Без аларны һәлак иттек, әйә хәзерге кәферләр иман китерерләрме?

ان سے پہلے جن بستیوں کو ہم نے ہلاک کیا وہ ایمان نہیں لاتی تھیں۔ تو کیا یہ ایمان لے آئیں گے

ان سے پہلے ہم نے جس بھی بستی کو ہلاک کیا وہ (انہی نشانیوں پر) ایمان نہیں لائی تھی، تو کیا یہ ایمان لے آئیں گے،
