وَ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَقُولُ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ فَإِذا أُوذِيَ فِي اللَّهِ جَعَلَ فِتْنَةَ النَّاسِ كَعَذابِ اللَّهِ وَ لَئِنْ جاءَ نَصْرٌ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ إِنَّا كُنَّا مَعَكُمْ أَ وَ لَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَعْلَمَ بِما فِي صُدُورِ الْعالَمِينَ

و من النّاس من يقول آمنّا باللّه فإذا أوذي في اللّه جعل فتنة النّاس كعذاب اللّه و لئن جاء نصر من ربّك ليقولنّ إنّا كنّا معكم أ و ليس اللّه بأعلم بما في صدور العالمين

Wamina alnnasi man yaqoolu amanna biAllahi fa-itha oothiya fee Allahi jaAAala fitnata alnnasi kaAAathabi Allahi wala-in jaa nasrun min rabbika layaqoolunna inna kunna maAAakum awa laysa Allahu bi-aAAlama bima fee sudoori alAAalameena

بعضي از مردم مي گويند : به خدا ايمان آورده ايم و چون در راه خدا آزاري ببينند ، آن آزار را چون عذاب خدا به شمار مي آورند و چون از سوي پروردگار تو مددي رسد ، مي گويند : ما نيز با شما بوده ايم آيا خدا به آنچه در دلهاي مردم جهان مي گذرد آگاه تر نيست ؟

و از مردم كسى هست كه مى گويد به خدا ايمان آورده ايم و چون در راه خدا رنج و آزار بيند، آزارگرى مردم را همچون عذاب الهى پندارد; و اگر نصرتى از سوى پروردگارت فراز آيد، مى گويند ما همراه شما بوديم; آيا خداوند به آنچه در دلهاى جهانيان هست آگاهتر نيست؟

كسانى از مردم هستند كه ميگويند: ما بخدا ايمان آورديم و چون اذيت و آزارى در راه خدا ببينند (دست از ايمان ميكشند) و اذيت و آزار مردم را با عذاب خدا برابر و همطراز قرار ميدهند و هر گاه فتح و پيروزى از جانب پروردگارت برسد، آن گاه ميگويند: ما هم با شما بوديم. مگر خدا بر اسرار قلبى مردم جهان بخوبى آگاه نيست؟

و از مردم کسانی هستند که می گویند: به خدا ایمان آوردیم. پس هنگامی که در راه خدا شکنجه و آزار شوند، شکنجه و آزار مردم را مانند عذاب خدا [غیر قابل تحمل] شمارند [و از بیم ادامه یافتنش از ایمان دست برمی دارند] ، و اگر از سوی پروردگارت یاری و نصرتی [چون پیروزی و غنیمت] بیاید، [به مؤمنان] قاطعانه می گویند: ما هم با شما بودیم. آیا [حال آنان از دید خدا پنهان است] و خدا به آنچه در سینه های جهانیان است [از همه] آگاه تر نیست؟

و پاره‏اى از مردم كسى است كه (بزبان) گويد ايمان آورديم بخدا پس آنگه كه آزارى به بينند در راه خدا گرداند آزار مردم را (در برگردانيدن از ايمان) مانند عذاب خدا و بعزتم سوگند اگر بيايد يارى از پروردگار تو گويد البته ما (در دين) هستيم با شما (پس ما را در غنيمت شريك سازيد) آيا نيست خدا داناتر به آنچه در دلهاى جهانيانست

و از ميان مردم كسانى‏اند كه مى‏گويند: «به خدا ايمان آورده‏ايم» و چون در [راه‏] خدا آزار كشند، آزمايش مردم را مانند عذاب خدا قرار مى‏دهند؛ و اگر از جانب پروردگارت پيروزى رسد حتماً خواهند گفت: «ما با شما بوديم.» آيا خدا به آنچه در دلهاى جهانيان است داناتر نيست؟

بعضى از مردم گويند به خدا ايمان آورديم و چون در راه خدا مورد آزار قرار گيرند فتنه مردم را مانند عذاب خدا مى‏پندارند و اگر مددى از جانب پروردگارت برسد مى‏گويند ما نيز با شما بوديم، آيا خداوند به آنچه در دلهاى مردم جهان مى‏گذرد آگاه‏تر نيست؟

و از [ميان‏] مردم كسانى هستند كه مى‏گويند: بخدا ايمان آورديم پس چون در [راه‏] خدا آزار بينند، آزار مردم را با عذاب خدا برابر شمرند و چون ياريى از پروردگارت بيايد [و غنيمتى باشد] گويند: بيگمان ما با شما بوديم! آيا خدا داناتر نيست بدانچه در سينه‏هاى جهانيانست.

و از مردمان كسى است كه ميگويد ايمان آورديم بخدا پس چون آزار ديد در راه خدا ميگرداند بلاى مردم را مانند عذاب خدا و اگر آيد نصرتى از پروردگارت هر آينه ميگويند بدرستيكه ما بوديم با شما آيا و نيست خداوند داناتر بآنچه در سينه‏هاى جهانيانست

و از مردم كسى هست كه مى‏گويد: به خداوند ايمان آورده‏ايم، پس چون در راه خداوند آزار بيند، آزردن مردم را مانند عذاب خداوند شمارد. و اگر فتحى از [سوى‏] پروردگارت [در ميان‏] آيد مى‏گويند: به راستى كه ما با شما بوديم. آيا خداوند به آنچه در دلهاى جهانيان است، داناتر نيست؟

و از مردم کسانی هستند که می‌گویند: «به خدا ایمان آورده‌ایم!» اما هنگامی که در راه خدا شکنجه و آزار می‌بینند، آزار مردم را همچون عذاب الهی می‌شمارند (و از آن سخت وحشت می‌کنند)؛ ولی هنگامی که پیروزی از سوی پروردگارت (برای شما) بیاید، می‌گویند: «ما هم با شما بودیم (و در این پیروزی شریکیم)»!! آیا خداوند به آنچه در سینه‌های جهانیان است آگاه‌تر نیست؟!

و از مردمان كسانى هستند كه گويند: به خدا ايمان آورديم، و چون درباره خدا رنجى و آزارى ببينند رنج و آزار مردم را مانند عذاب خدا شمرند- يعنى از ترس آزار مردم ترك ايمان مى‏كنند و حال آنكه مى‏بايست از ترس عذاب خدا ترك كفر كنند- و چون [شما را] يارى و پيروزيى از پروردگارت بيايد گويند: ما با شما بوديم! آيا خدا بدانچه در سينه‏هاى مردم جهان است داناتر نيست؟

و از مردمان كسى است كه ميگويد ايمان آورديم بخدا پس چون آزار ديد در راه خدا ميگرداند بلاى مردم را مانند عذاب خدا و اگر آيد نصرتى از پروردگارت هر آينه ميگويند بدرستى كه ما بوديم با شما آيا و نيست خداوند داناتر بانچه در سينه‏هاى جهانيانست

و از مردمند آنان كه گويند ايمان آورديم به خدا پس گاهى كه آزرده شود در راه خدا بگرداند آزار مردم را چون عذاب خدا و اگر بيايد ياريى از پروردگارت هر=آينه گويند ما با شما بوديم آيا نيست خدا را داناتر بدانچه هست در سينه هاى جهانيان

و بعضی مردم (از راه نفاق) می‌گویند: ما به خدا ایمان آوردیم، و چون رنج و آزاری در راه خدا ببینند فتنه و عذاب خلق را با عذاب خدا برابر شمرند (یعنی همان قدر که ترس عذاب خدا آنها را از کفر به ایمان می‌خواند ترس عذاب مردم هم از ایمان به کفر می‌کشد) و هر گاه ظفر و نصرتی از جانب خدایت (به مؤمنان) رسید (آن منافقان) گویند: ما هم با شما (و هم آیین شما) بودیم. آیا خدا بر آنچه در دلهای خلایق است داناتر نیست؟

در ميان مردم كساني هستند كه مي ‌گويند: ما به خدا ايمان داريم، اما همين كه به خاطر خدا رنجي ببينند، آزار مردم را با مجازات خدا يكي مي ‌شمارند. اما اگر از جانب پروردگارت رحمتي به تو برسد، مي ‌گويند: ما با شما بوديم. آيا خدا كاملاً از دروني ترين افكار مردم آگاه نيست؟

And from the people who says: «We believed by God.» So if he was harmed mildly in God, he made/put the people’s test/torture as/like God’s torture, and if victory/aid came from your Lord, they will say (E): «That we were with you.» Or is not God with more knowledgeable with what (is in) the creation’s all together’s/(universes) chests (innermosts).

Of mankind are some who say: «We believe in Allah,» but if they are made to suffer for the sake of Allah, they consider the trial of mankind as Allahs punishment, and if victory comes from your Lord, (the hypocrites) will say: «Verily! We were with you (helping you).» Is not Allah Best Aware of what is in the breast of the Alameen (mankind and jinns).

Some men there are who say, ‹We believe in God,› but when such a man is hurt in God’s cause, he makes the persecution of men as it were God’s chastisement; then if help comes from thy Lord, he will say ‹We were with you.› What, does not God know very well what is in the breasts of all beings?

Now there is among men many a one who says [of himself and of others like him], «We do believe in God» – but whenever he is made to suffer in God’s cause, he thinks that persecution at the hands of man is as [much to be feared, or even more than,] God’s chastisement; [I.e., the suffering which is bound to befall in the hereafter all who abandon their faith for fear of being persecuted in this world. It is to be borne in mind that a mere outward renunciation of faith under torture or threat of death is not considered a sin in Islam, although martyrdom for the sake of one’s faith is the highest degree of merit to which man can attain.] whereas, if succour from thy Sustainer comes [to those who truly believe] [I.e., when it is no longer risky to be counted as one of them.] he is sure to say. «Behold, we have always been with you!» Is not God fully aware of what is in the hearts of all creatures?

Er zijn sommige menschen die zeggen: Wij gelooven in God; maar als zulk een voor Gods zaak wordt beproefd, schat hij de vervolging der menschen even smartelijk, als de straf van God. Als u God eenig voordeel schenkt, zeggen zij: Waarlijk wij zijn met u. Weet God dan niet wat in de borst zijner schepselen schuilt?

And from among the people are those who Say: "We believe in God," but if he is harmed in the sake of God, he equates the persecution inflicted by the people with God’s punishment! And if a victory comes from your Lord, he says: "We were with you!" Is God not fully aware of what is inside the chests of the worlds?

Fra gli uomini vi è chi dice: «Noi crediamo in Allah»; ma non appena subiscono [per la causa di] Allah, considerano la persecuzione degli uomini un castigo di Allah. Quando giunge poi l’ausilio del loro Signore, dicono: «Noi eravamo con voi!». Forse che Allah non conosce meglio cosa c’è nei petti delle creature?

Of mankind are some who say: "We believe in Allah," but if they are made to suffer for the sake of Allah, they consider the trial of mankind as Allahs punishment, and if victory comes from your Lord, (the hypocrites) will say: "Verily! We were with you (helping you)." Is not Allah Best Aware of what is in the breast of the Alameen (mankind and jinns).

Среди людей есть такие, которые говорят: «Мы уверовали в Аллаха». Но стоит им пострадать ради Аллаха, как они принимают искушение людей за мучения от Аллаха. Если же явится победа от твоего Господа, то они непременно скажут: «Мы были вместе с вами». Но разве Аллаху не лучше знать, что таится в груди миров?

Среди людей есть и такие, которые утверждают: «Мы уверовали в Аллаха». Когда же они страдают из-за [преданности] Аллаху, то они людское притеснение равняют с наказанием Аллаха. Если же ты [, Мухаммад,] одержишь победу по [воле] твоего Господа, то они непременно скажут: «Воистину, мы были вместе с вами». Но не Аллаху ли ведомо о том, что в сердцах обитателей миров?

And among men is he who says: We believe in Allah; but when he is persecuted in (the way of) Allah he thinks the persecution of men to be as the chastisement of Allah; and if there come assistance from your Lord, they would most certainly say: Surely we were with you. What! is not Allah the best knower of what is in the breasts of mankind.

Of mankind is he who saith: We believe in Allah, but, if he be made to suffer for the sake of Allah, he mistaketh the persecution of mankind for Allah’s punishment; and then, if victory cometh from thy Lord, will say: Lo! we were with you (all the while). Is not Allah Best Aware of what is in the bosoms of (His) creatures?

And there are those among men who say, ‹We believe in God!› but when they are hurt in God’s cause, they deem the trials of men like the torment of God; but if help come from thy Lord they will say, ‹Verily, we were with you!› does not God know best what is in the breasts of the worlds?

İnsanlar içinden öylesi vardır ki, «Allah’a inandık» der fakat Allah uğrunda bir eziyete uğratılınca, insanlardan gelen fitneyi Allah’ın azabı gibi tutar. Ve eğer Rabbinden bir yardım gelirse kesinlikle şöyle diyeceklerdir: «Biz sizinle beraberdik.» Allah, âlemlerin göğüslerindekini en iyi şekilde bilmiyor mu?

There are some people who say: ‹We believe in Allah, ‹ yet when such is hurt in the cause of Allah, he makes the persecution of people as though it were the punishment of Allah. But then if help comes from his Lord, he will say: ‹We were with you. ‹ Does Allah not know what is in the (people’s) chests of the worlds?

Now of mankind there are such who say, «We do believe in Allah.» But when they are made to suffer in Allah’s Cause, they think that persecution at the hands of people is Allah’s punishment. And if help comes from your Lord, they say, «Behold, we were with you all the while.» Is not Allah best Aware of what is in the hearts of all creatures?

Among the people there are those who say, «We believe in GOD,» but as soon as they suffer any hardship because of GOD, they equate the people’s persecution with GOD’s retribution. But if blessings from your Lord come your way, they say, «We were with you.» Is GOD not fully aware of the people’s innermost thoughts?

But some men say, «We believe in God,» yet when they meet with sufferings in the cause of God, they regard trouble from man as chastisement from God. Yet if a success come from thy Lord they are sure to say, «We were on your side!» Doth not God well know what is in the breasts of his creatures?

There are some men who say, we believe in God: But when such a one is afflicted for God’s sake, he esteemeth the persecution of men to be as grievous as the punishment of God. Yet if success cometh from thy Lord, they say, verily we are with you. Doth not God well know that which is in the breasts of his creatures?

And of men there are some who say, `We believe in ALLAH;› but when they are made to suffer in the cause of ALLAH, they regard the persecution of men as if it were the punishment of ALLAH. And if help comes from thy Lord, they are sure to say, `Certainly, we were with you.› Is not ALLAH best aware of what is in the breasts of HIS creatures ?

Unter den Menschen sind manche, die sprechen: «Wir glauben an Allah», doch wenn sie für Allahs Sache leiden müssen, so betrachten sie die Anfeindung durch Menschen gleich der Strafe Allahs. Kommt aber Hilfe von deinem Herrn, dann sprechen sie gewiß: «Wahrlich, wir waren mit euch.» Weiß Allah nicht am besten, was in den Herzen aller Geschöpfe ist?

Среди людей есть те, что говорят: ■ «Мы веруем в Аллаха!» ■ Когда ж в Господнем деле их беда коснется, ■ Как испытание людей (на стойкость в вере), ■ Они ее за гнев Аллаха выдают. ■ Когда ж Господня помощь ниспадет и с ней победа, ■ «Мы были с вами», – говорят они. ■ Ужель Аллах не знает лучше, ■ Что кроется в сердцах Его миров?

Кешеләрдән шундый кешеләр дә бардыр, ягыш монафикълар, әгәр алар Аллаһ юлында аз гына авырлык күрсәләр, кешеләрдән ирешкән рәнҗетелүне ахирәттәге Аллаһ ґәзабы кеби зур ґәзаптан санарлар, әгәр мөэминнәргә Аллаһ ярдәме белән табыш малы килсә, әлбәттә, алар әйтәләр, шиксез, без дә сезнең белән бергә Ислам динендәбез, безгә дә табыш малын бирегез, дип. Әйә Аллаһ барча дөнья кешеләренең күңелләрендә иман йә монафикълык яки мөшриклек сырхавы бар икәнне белмәсме?

اور بعض لوگ ایسے ہیں جو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم خدا پر ایمان لائے جب اُن کو خدا (کے رستے) میں کوئی ایذا پہنچتی ہے تو لوگوں کی ایذا کو (یوں) سمجھتے ہیں جیسے خدا کا عذاب۔ اگر تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے مدد پہنچے تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم تمہارے ساتھ تھے۔ کیا جو اہل عالم کے سینوں میں ہے خدا اس سے واقف نہیں؟

اور لوگوں میں ایسے شخص (بھی) ہوتے ہیں جو (زبان سے) کہتے ہیں کہ ہم اللہ پر ایمان لائے، پھر جب انہیں اللہ کی راہ میں (کوئی) تکلیف پہنچائی جاتی ہے تو وہ لوگوں کی آزمائش کواللہ کے عذاب کی مانند قرار دیتے ہیں، اور اگر آپ کے رب کی جانب سے کوئی مدد آپہنچتی ہے تو وہ یقیناً یہ کہنے لگتے ہیں کہ ہم تو تمہارے ساتھ ہی تھے، کیا اللہ ان (باتوں) کو نہیں جانتا جو جہان والوں کے سینوں میں (پوشیدہ) ہیں،
