وَ إِذا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوا ما أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ قالُوا بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ ما وَجَدْنا عَلَيْهِ آباءَنا أَ وَ لَوْ كانَ الشَّيْطانُ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلى عَذابِ السَّعِيرِ

و إذا قيل لهم اتّبعوا ما أنزل اللّه قالوا بل نتّبع ما وجدنا عليه آباءنا أ و لو كان الشّيطان يدعوهم إلى عذاب السّعير

Wa-itha qeela lahumu ittabiAAoo ma anzala Allahu qaloo bal nattabiAAu ma wajadna AAalayhi abaana awa law kana alshshaytanu yadAAoohum ila AAathabi alssaAAeeri

و چون به آنها بگويند : از آنچه خدا نازل کرده است متابعت کنيد ، گويند : نه ، ما از آييني که پدران خود را بر آن يافته ايم متابعت مي کنيم اگر چه شيطان به عذاب آتششان فرا خوانده باشد

و چون به ايشان گفته شود از آنچه خداوند نازل كرده است پيروى كنيد گويند بلكه از آنچه پدرانمان را طرفدار آن يافته ايم پيروى مى كنيم; حتى اگر شيطان ايشان را به سوى عذاب آتش دوزخ بخواند؟

و چون بآنان بگوئيد، از آنچه خدا نازل كرده پيروى كنيد، ميگويند ما فقط از راهى كه پدران خود را در آن يافتيم پيروى ميكنيم، هر چند شيطان آنها را به سوى آتش سوزان بخواند.

و چون به آنان گویند: از آنچه خدا نازل کرده است، پیروی کنید، می گویند: [پیروی نمی کنیم] بلکه ما از آنچه پدرانمان را بر آن یافته ایم، پیروی می کنیم. آیا [کورکورانه از گذشتگان پیروی می کنند] و هرچند که شیطان آنان را با این پیروی به عذاب فروزان دعوت کند؟!

و چون گفته شود بايشان پيروى كنيد آن چيزى (قرآنى) را كه فرو فرستاده است خدا گويند پيروى كنيم آنچه را كه يافته‏ايم بر آن پدران خود را آيا اگر ديو سركش بخواند ايشان را بسوى عذاب سوزان (بر آن بايد رفت)

و چون به آنان گفته شود: «آنچه را كه خدا نازل كرده پيروى كنيد»، مى‏گويند: «[نه!] بلكه آنچه كه پدرانمان را بر آن يافته‏ايم پيروى مى‏كنيم»؛ آيا هر چند شيطان آنان را به سوى عذاب سوزان فرا خواند؟

و چون به آنها گفته شود آنچه را خدا نازل كرده پيروى كنيد، گويند: «نه! ما از آيين نياكان خود پيروى مى‏كنيم، حتى اگر شيطان آنها را به عذاب سوزان فرا خوانده باشد؟»

و چون ايشان را گويند كه: از آنچه خدا فرو فرستاده پيروى كنيد گويند: [نه‏]، بلكه پيروى مى‏كنيم آنچه را كه پدران خود را بر [پيروى‏] آن يافتيم، اگر چه شيطان آنها را بسوى عذاب آتش سوزان بخواند؟

و چون گفته شود ايشانرا كه پيروى كنيد از آنچه فرو فرستاده خدا گويند بلكه پيروى ميكنيم از آنچه يافتيم بر آن پدرانمان را آيا و اگر چه بوده باشد شيطان كه بخواندشان بسوى عذاب سوزان

و چون به آنان گفته شود. از چيزى پيروى كنيد كه خداوند نازل كرده است، گويند: بلكه از چيزى پيروى كنيم كه نياكانمان را بر آن يافته‏ايم. آيا [از آنان پيروى مى‏كنند] حتى اگر شيطان آنان را به سوى عذاب دوزخ فرا خواند؟

و هنگامی که به آنان گفته شود: «از آنچه خدا نازل کرده پیروی کنید!»، می‌گویند: «نه، بلکه ما از چیزی پیروی می‌کنیم که پدران خود را بر آن یافتیم!»آیا حتّی اگر شیطان آنان را دعوت به عذاب آتش فروزان کند (باز هم تبعیّت می‌کنند)؟!

و چون به آنان گفته شود: آنچه را خداى فروفرستاده پيروى كنيد، گويند: بلكه ما از آنچه پدرانمان را بر آن يافته‏ايم پيروى مى‏كنيم. آيا [شيطان را پيروى مى‏كنند] هر چند شيطان آنها را به عذاب سوزان بخواند؟

و چون گفته شود ايشان را كه پيروى كنيد از آنچه فرو فرستاده خدا گويند بلكه پيروى ميكنيم از آنچه يافتيم بر آن پدرانمان را آيا و اگر چه بوده باشد شيطان كه بخواندشان بسوى عذاب سوزان

و اگر گفته شود بديشان پيروى كنيد آنچه را فرستاد خدا گويند بلكه پيروى كنيم آنچه يافتيم پدران خويش را بر آن و اگر چه باشد شيطان بخواندشان بسوى عذاب سوزان

و چون به این مردم (اهل جدل و عناد) گویند که بیایید از کتابی که خدا فرستاده پیروی کنید، جواب دهند ما تنها از طریقی که پدران خود را بر آن یافته‌ایم پیروی می‌کنیم. آیا هر چند آنان را شیطان به آتش دوزخ بخواند (باز پیرو آنها می‌شوند).

هنگامي كه به آنها گفته شود: از اين آيات خدا پيروي كنيد، مي ‌‌گويند: نه، ما فقط از آنچه والدينمان انجام مي ‌دهند، پيروي مي ‌كنيم. اگر شيطان آنها را به عذاب دوزخ بكشاند، چطور؟

And if (it) was said to them: «Follow what God descended.» They said: «But we follow what we found on it our fathers.» Even if the devil was calling them to the blazing’s/inflamed’s torture?

And when it is said to them: «Follow that which Allah has sent down», they say: «Nay, we shall follow that which we found our fathers (following).» (Would they do so) even if Shaitan (Satan) invites them to the torment of the Fire.

and when it is said to them, ‹Follow what God has sent down,› they say, ‹No; but we will follow such things as we found our fathers doing.› What? Even though Satan were calling them to the chastisement of the burning?

and when such [people] are told to follow that which God has bestowed from on high, they answer, «Nay, we shall follow that which we found our forefathers believing in and doing!» Why – [would you follow your forefathers] even if Satan had invited them unto the suffering of the blazing flame? [Regarding the implications of the term «Satan» in this context, see note on 2:14 and on 15:17. As in many other places in the Quran, the above verse expresses an oblique condemnation of the principle and practice of taqlid (see Razi’s observations quoted in note on 26:74).]

En als er tot hen wordt gezegd: Volgt wat God heeft geopenbaard, antwoorden zij: Neen! wij zullen volgen wat wij hebben bevonden dat onze vaderen deden. Maar wat! ofschoon de duivel hen tot de marteling der hel noodigt?

And if they are told: "Follow that which God has sent down." They Say: "No, we will follow what we found our fathers doing." What if the devil had been leading them to the agony of Hell?

E quando si dice loro: «Seguite quello che Allah ha rivelato», rispondono: «Seguiremo invece quello che abbiamo trovato presso i nostri avi!» [Insisterebbero così] anche se Satana li chiamasse al castigo del la Fiamma?

And when it is said to them: "Follow that which Allah has sent down", they say: "Nay, we shall follow that which we found our fathers (following)." (Would they do so) even if Shaitan (Satan) invites them to the torment of the Fire.

Когда им говорят: «Следуйте за тем, что ниспослал Аллах!» – они говорят: «О нет! Мы будем следовать тому, чему следовали наши отцы». А если сатана позовет их к мучениям в Пламени?

Когда же им говорят: «Следуйте за тем, что Аллах ниспослал!» – они отвечают: «О нет! Мы будем следовать тому, чему следовали наши отцы». Неужели же [последуют они за] шайтаном, даже если он позовет их к [тому, что влечет] наказание адским огнем?

And when it is said to them: Follow what Allah has revealed, they say: Nay, we follow that on which we found our fathers. What! though the Shaitan calls them to the chastisement of the burning fire!

And if it be said unto them: Follow that which Allah hath revealed, they say: Nay, but we follow that wherein we found our fathers. What! Even though the devil were inviting them unto the doom of flame?

And when it is said to them, ‹Follow what God has sent down;› they say, ‹Nay! we will follow what we found our fathers agreed upon;› – what! though Satan calls them to the torment of the blaze?

Böylelerine, Allah’ın indirdiğine uyun dendiğinde şu cevabı verirler: «Hayır, biz atalarımızı üzerinde bulduğumuz şeye uyarız.» Peki, şeytan onları, alevli ateşin azabına çağırmış olsa da mı?

When it is said to them: ‹Follow what Allah has sent down, ‹ they reply: ‹No, rather we will follow that which we found our fathers upon. ‹ What! Even though satan is inviting them to the punishment of the Fire!

And when such people are told to follow what Allah has revealed, they say, «Nay, we follow that which we have found our fathers doing.» What! Even though Satan had invited them to the doom of Flames?»

When they are told, «Follow these revelations of GOD,» they say, «No, we follow only what we found our parents doing.» What if the devil is leading them to the agony of Hell?

And when it is said to them, Follow ye what God hath sent down, they say, «Nay; that religion in which we found our fathers will we follow.» What! though Satan bid them to the torment of the flame?

And when it is said unto them, follow that which God hath revealed; they answer, nay, we will follow that which we found our fathers to practise. What, though the devil invite them to the torment of hell?

And when it is said to them, `Follow that which ALLAH has revealed,› they say, `Nay, we shall follow that which we found our fathers following.› What ! even though Satan was inviting them to the punishment of the burning fire ?

Und wenn zu ihnen gesprochen wird: «Folget dem, was Allah herniedergesandt hat», dann sagen sie: «Nein, wir wollen dem folgen, wobei wir unsere Väter vorfanden.» Wie! selbst wenn der Satan sie zu der Strafe des brennenden Feuers lädt?

Когда им говорят: «Вы следуйте за тем, ■ Что вам ниспослано Аллахом!», ■ Они ответствуют: «О нет! ■ Мы будем следовать той (вере), ■ Которую нашли мы в наших праотцах». ■ Неужто даже зная, что за это ■ Их Сатана зовет к (суровой) каре Ада?

Әгәр аларга Аллаһ иңдергән Коръән хөкемнәренә иярегез диелсә, алар әйтәләр: «Бәлки аталарыбызны нинди диндә, нинди гамәлдә тапсак, шул гамәлгә иярәбез, аларның юлыннан чыкмыйбыз» – дип. Әйә шайтан аларны адашкан аталарына ияртеп бидеґәт гамәлләрне кылдырып җәһәннәмгә алып бара түгелме? Аталарының юлы җәһәннәмгә барса да ул юлдан чыкмыйбыз диярләрме?

اور جب اُن سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ جو (کتاب) خدا نے نازل فرمائی ہے اُس کی پیروی کرو۔ تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم تو اسی کی پیروی کریں گے جس پر اپنے باپ دادا کو پایا۔ بھلا اگرچہ شیطان ان کو دوزخ کے عذاب کی طرف بلاتا ہو (تب بھی؟)

اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ تم اس (کتاب) کی پیروی کرو جو اﷲ نے نازل فرمائی ہے تو کہتے ہیں (نہیں) بلکہ ہم تو اس (طریقہ) کی پیروی کریں گے جس پر ہم نے اپنے باپ دادا کو پایا، اور اگرچہ شیطان انہیں عذابِ دوزخ کی طرف ہی بلاتا ہو،
