أَ وَ لَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الأَْرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كانَ عاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ كانُوا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ كانُوا هُمْ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَ آثاراً فِي الأَْرْضِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَ ما كانَ لَهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ واقٍ

أ و لم يسيروا في الأرض فينظروا كيف كان عاقبة الّذين كانوا من قبلهم كانوا هم أشدّ منهم قوّة و آثارا في الأرض فأخذهم اللّه بذنوبهم و ما كان لهم من اللّه من واق

Awa lam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fayanthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena kanoo min qablihim kanoo hum ashadda minhum quwwatan waatharan fee al-ardi faakhathahumu Allahu bithunoobihim wama kana lahum mina Allahi min waqin

آيا در زمين سير نمي کنند تا بنگرند که عاقبت پيشينيانشان چگونه بوده است ؟ توانايي آنها و آثاري که در روي زمين پديد آورده بودند از اينان بيش بود و خدا آنها را به کيفر کفرشان فرو گرفت و از قهر خداوندشان نگهدارنده اي نبود

آيا در زمين سير و سفر نكرده اند كه بنگرند سرانجام كسانى كه پيش از ايشان بودند چگونه بوده است. آنان از ايشان در روى زمين پر توان تر و پر اثرتر بوده اند، كه خداوند آنان را به گناهانشان فرو گرفت، و در برابر خداوند نگهدارنده اى نداشتند.

آيا مردم در روى زمين سير و سفر نميكنند تا سرانجام كار كسانى كه قبل از اينان بودند، مشاهده كنند؟ قدرت و امكانات و آثار گذشتگان در زمين خيلى بيشتر از اينان بود و خدا آنها را بكيفر گناهانشان بعذابى سخت گرفتار ساخت و كسى نبود كه آنها را از مجازات خدا محافظت كند.

آیا در زمین گردش نکردند تا با تأمل بنگرند که سرانجام کسانی که پیش از آنان بودند، چگونه بود؟ آنان از ایشان نیرومندتر بودند، و در زمین آثاری پایدارتر [چون قلعه ها، خانه های استوار و کاخ های بسیار محکم] داشتند، پس خدا آنان را به کیفر گناهانشان [به عذاب] گرفت، و در برابر خدا مدافع و حمایت گری نداشتند.

آيا كفار قريش نگشتند در سرزمين (شام و يمن) تا بنگرند كه چگونه بوده است سر انجام آنانكه بودند پيش از ايشان (و از آن عبرت گيرند) بودند آنان سختتر از ايشان از نظر نيرو و نشانه‏هاى بجاى مانده در زمين پس گرفتشان خدا به سزاى گناهانشان و نبود آنان را از (عذاب) خدا هيچ نگهدارنده‏اى

آيا در زمين نگرديده‏اند تا ببينند فرجام كسانى كه پيش از آنها [زيسته‏]اند چگونه بوده است؟ آنها از ايشان نيرومندتر [بوده‏] و آثار [پايدارترى‏] در روى زمين [از خود باقى گذاشتند]، با اين همه، خدا آنان را به كيفر گناهانشان گرفتار كرد و در برابر خدا حمايتگرى نداشتند.

آيا در زمين سير نمى‏كنند تا ببينند عاقبت پيشينيانشان چگونه بود؟ توانايى آنها و آثارى كه در زمين پديد آوردند بيشتر از آنها بود، خدا آنها را به گناهشان فرو گرفت و براى آنان در برابر عذابش مدافعى وجود ندارد.

آيا [اين كافران‏] در زمين نمى‏روند تا بنگرند سرانجام آنان كه پيش از اينان بودند [و] به نيرو و آثار در زمين از اينان سخت‏تر بودند، چگونه بود؟ خدا آنها را به گناهانشان بگرفت، و آنان را از عذاب خدا باز دارنده‏اى نبود.

آيا سير نمى‏كنند در زمين پس بنگرند كه چگونه باشد انجام كار آنان كه بودند پيش از ايشان بودند ايشان سخت تر از ايشان از لحاظ توان و اثرها در زمين پس گرفت ايشانرا خدا بسبب گناهانشان و نبود ايشانرا از خدا هيچ نگهدارنده

آيا در زمين به سير [و گردش‏] نپرداخته‏اند تا بنگرند كه سرانجام پيشينيانشان چگونه بود؟ آنان از اينان توانمندتر و در زمين پرنشانتر بودند كه خداوند به [سزاى‏] گناهانشان آنان را گرفتار ساخت. و آنان در برابر خداوند پناه دهنده‏اى نداشتند

آیا آنها روی زمین سیر نکردند تا ببینند عاقبت کسانی که پیش از آنان بودند چگونه بود؟! آنها در قدرت و ایجاد آثار مهمّ در زمین از اینها برتر بودند؛ ولی خداوند ایشان را به گناهانشان گرفت، و در برابر عذاب او مدافعی نداشتند!

آيا در زمين گردش نكرده‏اند تا بنگرند كه سرانجام كسانى كه پيش از آنان بودند چگونه بود؟ آنان از اينها نيرومندتر و داراى آثار بازمانده بيشترى در زمين بودند، پس خداوند آنها را به سزاى گناهانشان بگرفت و آنان را از [عذاب‏] خدا هيچ نگاهدارنده‏اى نبود.

آيا سير نمى‏كنند در زمين پس بنگرند كه چگونه باشد انجام كار آنان كه بودند پيش از ايشان بودند ايشان سخت تر از ايشان از لحاظ توان و اثرها در زمين پس گرفت ايشان را خدا بسبب گناهانشان و نبود ايشان را از خدا هيچ نگهدارنده

آيا نگشتند در زمين تا بنگرند چگونه بوده است فرجام آنان كه بودند پيش از ايشان بودند سخت تر از ايشان در نيرو و نشانيهاى بجاى مانده در زمين پس بگرفتندشان خدا به گناهانشان و نبود ايشان را از خدا نگهبانى

آیا (مردم) در روی زمین سیر و سفر نکردند تا عاقبت کار پیشینیانشان را ببینند که آنها با آنکه بسیار از اینان قوی‌تر و آثار وجودیشان در روی زمین بیشتر بود سرانجام خدا به کیفر گناهانشان بگرفت (و همه را هلاک ساخت) و از (قهر و انتقام) خدا هیچ کس نگهدارشان نبود.

آيا آنها در زمين سير نكردند و عاقبت پيشينيان خود را نديدند؟ آنها پيش از ايشان قوي تر و در زمين سازنده تر بودند، اما خدا آنها را به دليل گناهانشان تنبيه كرد و هيچ چيز نتوانست آنها را در مقابل خدا محافظت كند.

Do they not walk/move/ride in the land/Planet Earth , so they see/wonder about how was those who were from before them’s end/turn (result)? They, they were, stronger than them (in) strength/power, and tracks/historical remains in the earth/Planet Earth, so God punished/took them because (of) their crimes, and (there) was not for them from a protector/preserver from God.

Have they not travelled in the land and seen what was the end of those who were before them? They were superior to them in strength, and in the traces (which they left) in the land. But Allah seized them with punishment for their sins. And none had they to protect them from Allah.

What, have they not journeyed in the land and beheld how was the end of those before them? They were stronger than themselves in might and left firmer traces in the earth; yet God seized them in their sins, and they had none to defend them from God.

Have they, then, never journeyed about the earth and beheld what happened in the end to those [deniers of the truth] who lived before their time? Greater were they in power than they are, and in the impact which they left on earth: but God took them to task for their sins, and they had none to defend them against God:

Zijn zij niet over de aarde gegaan, en hebben zij het einde niet gezien van hen, die vr hen waren? Deze waren machtiger dan zij in sterkte, en lieten aanzienlijker sporen van hunne macht op de aarde; doch God kastijdde hen om hunne zonden, en er was niemand om hen bij God te ondersteunen.

Have they not roamed the Earth and seen how was the consequence of those who were before them? They used to be stronger than they, and had built more in the land. But God seized them for their sins, and they had no protector against God.

Have they not travelled in the land and seen what was the end of those who were before them? They were superior to them in strength, and in the traces (which they left) in the land. But Allah seized them with punishment for their sins. And none had they to protect them from Allah.

Разве они не странствовали по земле и не видели, каким был конец их предшественников? А ведь они превосходили их силой и оставили больше следов на земле, но Аллах схватил их за их грехи, и никто не защитил их от Аллаха.

Разве не странствовали [люди] по земле и не видели, каков был конец тех, кто жил до них? [А ведь] они превосходили их силой и [своими] сооружениями на земле. Но Аллах наказал их за грехи – при этом никто не защитил их от Аллаха, –

Have they not travelled in the earth and seen how was the end of those who were before them? Mightier than these were they in strength– and in fortifications in the land, but Allah destroyed them for their sins; and there was not for them any defender against Allah.

Have they not travelled in the land to see the nature of the consequence for those who disbelieved before them? They were mightier than these in power and (in the) traces (which they left behind them) in the earth. Yet Allah seized them for their sins, and they had no protector from Allah.

Have, they not journeyed on in the earth and seen how was the end of those who journeyed on before them? They were stronger than them in might, and their vestiges are in the land, but God caught them up in their sins, and they had none to guard them against God.

Yeryüzünde gezip dolaşmadılar mı ki kendilerinden öncekilerin sonları nice olmuş görsünler? Onlar, hem kuvvetçe hem de yeryüzündeki eserler bakımından bunlardan daha zorlu idiler. Ama Allah onları günahları yüzünden yakaladı. Ve Allah’a karşı bir koruyanları da olmadı.

Have they never journeyed through the land and seen what was the end of those who have gone before them? They were stronger than themselves in might and left firmer traces in the earth, but Allah seized them for their sinning, and they had none to protect them from Allah.

Have they, then, never traveled in the land and seen the outcome of those who lived before their times? They were mightier than these, and in the impact they left on earth as evident from their ruins. But Allah took them to task for their trailing behind in humanity. And then they had no defender against the Laws of Allah. (30:9).

Did they not roam the earth and note the consequences for those before them? They used to be stronger than they, and more productive on earth. But GOD punished them for their sins, and nothing could protect them from GOD.

Have they never journeyed in this land, and seen what hath been the end of those who flourished before them? Mightier were they in strength than these Meccans, and their traces remain in the land: Yet God took them in their sins, and there was none to defend them against God.

Have they not gone through the earth, and seen what hath been the end of those who were before them? They were more mighty than these in strength, and left more considerable footsteps of their power in the earth: Yet God chastised them for their sins, and there was none to protect them from God.

Have they not traveled in the earth that they could see what was the end of those before them ? They were mightier than these in power and they left firmer marks in the earth. But ALLAH seized them for their sins, and they had no one to protect them from ALLAH.

Sind sie nicht auf der Erde umhergereist, um zu sehen, wie das Ende derer war, die vor ihnen waren? Diese waren stärker als sie an Macht und (bleibender) in den Spuren (die sie) auf Erden (hinterließen). Und doch erfaßte sie Allah um ihrer Sünden willen, und sie hatten keinen, der sie wider Allah hätte schützen können.

Ужель они не ходят по земле, ■ Не видят то, каков конец был тех, ■ Которые до них (грешили): ■ Кто силой их превосходил – делами, ■ Что на земле оставили свой след? ■ Аллах сразил их всех за их грехи, ■ И не было у них защиты от Него.

Алар җир өстендә йөрмиләрме, үзләреннән элекке кавемнәрнең иман китермәгәннәренең ахыр хәлләре ничек булганын да күрмиләрме? Бит ул әүвәлге кәферләр куәттә вә биналәр тезүдә болардан артык иделәр, Аллаһ аларны гөнаһлары өчен ґәзаб белән тотты, Аллаһ ґәзабын аларга килүдән туктатучы булмады.

کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سیر نہیں کی تاکہ دیکھ لیتے کہ جو لوگ ان سے پہلے تھے ان کا انجام کیسا ہوا۔ وہ ان سے زور اور زمین میں نشانات (بنانے) کے لحاظ سے کہیں بڑھ کر تھے تو خدا نے ان کو ان کے گناہوں کے سبب پکڑ لیا۔ اور ان کو خدا (کے عذاب) سے کوئی بھی بچانے والا نہ تھا

اور کیا یہ لوگ زمین میں چلے پھرے نہیں کہ دیکھ لیتے ان لوگوں کا انجام کیسا ہوا جو ان سے پہلے تھے، وہ لوگ قوّت میں (بھی) اِن سے بہت زیادہ تھے اور اُن آثار و نشانات میں (بھی) جو زمین میں (چھوڑ گئے) تھے۔ پھر اللہ نے ان کے گناہوں کی وجہ سے انہیں پکڑ لیا، اور ان کے لئے اللہ (کے عذاب) سے بچانے والا کوئی نہ تھا،
