وَ لَوْ شاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَعَلَهُمْ أُمَّةً واحِدَةً وَ لكِنْ يُدْخِلُ مَنْ يَشاءُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ وَ الظَّالِمُونَ ما لَهُمْ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَ لا نَصِيرٍ

و لو شاء اللّه لجعلهم أمّة واحدة و لكن يدخل من يشاء في رحمته و الظّالمون ما لهم من وليّ و لا نصير

Walaw shaa Allahu lajaAAalahum ommatan wahidatan walakin yudkhilu man yashao fee rahmatihi waalththalimoona ma lahum min waliyyin wala naseerin

اگر خدا مي خواست همه را يک امت کرده بودولي او هر که را که بخواهدبه رحمت خويش در آورد ، و ستمکاران را هيچ دوست و ياوري نيست

و اگر خداوند مى خواست آنان را امت يگانه اى قرار مى داد; ولى هر كس را كه بخواهد در جوار رحمتش در مى آورد; و ستمكاران [مشرك] يار و ياورى ندارند.

و اگر خدا ميخواست همه مردم (مؤمن و كافر) را امتى واحد (و مؤمن) قرار ميداد و لكن خدا هر كه را بخواهد داخل رحمت خويش ميسازد و ستمكاران را هيچ يار و مددكارى نخواهد بود.

اگر خدا می خواست آنان را [از روی جبر بر محور هدایت] امت واحدی قرار می داد، ولی [هدایت اجباری فاقد ارزش است] هر که را بخواهد [در صورتی که ستمکار به آیات خدا نباشد] در رحمت خود در آورد؛ و ستمکاران را هیچ دوست و یاوری [که از عذاب نجاتشان دهد] نیست.

و اگر مى‏خواست خدا (باراده تكوينى) بيگمان قرار مى‏داد مردم را يك ملت و ليكن همواره در مى‏آورد هر كه را خواهد در رحمت خود و ستمكاران نيست ايشان را هيچ دوستى و نه ياورى

و اگر خدا مى‏خواست، قطعاً آنان را امتى يگانه مى‏گردانيد، ليكن هر كه را بخواهد، به رحمت خويش درمى‏آورد و ستمگران نه يارى دارند و نه ياورى.

اگر خدا مى‏خواست همه مردم را به صورت يك امت در مى‏آورد، ولى خدا هر كس را بخواهد به رحمت خود در مى‏آورد و ستمكاران را يار و ياورى نيست.

و اگر خدا بخواهد آنان را امّتى واحد كند. و ليكن كسى را كه بخواهد در رحمت خويش در آورد، و ستمكاران را ياورى و نصرت دهنده‏اى نيست.

و اگر خواسته بود خدا هر آينه گردانيده بود ايشانرا امتى واحد و ليكن داخل ميكند آنرا كه خواهد در رحمت خود و ستمگران نيست آنانرا هيچ دوستى و نه ياورى

و اگر خدا مى‏خواست آنان را يك امّت مى‏ساخت ولى هر كس را كه بخواهد در جوار رحمت خويش در خواهد آورد. و ستمكاران هيچ كارساز و ياورى ندارند

و اگر خدا می‌خواست همه آنها را امّت واحدی قرار می‌داد (و به زور هدایت می‌کرد، ولی هدایت اجباری سودی ندارد)؛ امّا خداوند هر کس را بخواهد در رحمتش وارد می‌کند، و برای ظالمان ولیّ و یاوری نیست.

و اگر خدا مى‏خواست هر آينه آنان را يك امت مى‏ساخت و ليكن هر كه را خواهد در بخشايش خود در آورد، و ستمكاران را هيچ دوست و ياورى نيست.

و اگر خواسته بود خدا هر آينه گردانيده بود ايشان را امتى واحد و ليكن داخل ميكند آنرا كه خواهد در رحمت خود و ستمگران نيست آنان را هيچ دوستى و نه ياورى

و اگر مى خواست خدا هر آينه مى گردانيدشان يك ملّت و ليكن درآرد هر كه را خواهد در رحمتش و ستمگران را نيستشان يار و نه ياورى

و اگر خدا می‌خواست (و در ازل صلاح نظام عالم می‌دانست) تمام خلایق را (به قهر) یک فرقه (مؤمن) قرار می‌داد و لیکن (برای امتحان چنین نخواسته تا) هر که را بخواهد به رحمت خود داخل کند و ستمکاران را هیچ یار و ناصری نباشد.

اگر خدا مي خواست، مي توانست همه را يك جامعه واحد قرار دهد، ولي او هر كه را بخواهد به رحمت خويش داخل مي كند. و اما ستمكاران، هيچ مولا و ياوري ندارند.

And if God wanted/willed He would have made them one nation, and but He enters in His mercy whom He wills/wants, and the unjust/oppressive (there is) none for them from a guardian/ally and nor (a) victorior/savior .

And if Allah had willed, He could have made them one nation, but He admits whom He wills to His Mercy. And the Zalimoon (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) will have neither a Walee (protector) nor a helper.

If God had willed, He would have made them one nation; but He admits whomsoever He will into His mercy, and the evildoers shall have neither protector nor helper.

Now had God so willed, He could surely have made them all one single community: [The implication being, «but He has not willed it»: see second paragraph of 5:48 and the corresponding notes; 16:93 and also note on 10:19.] none the less, He admits unto His grace him that wills [to be admitted] [Or: «He admits whomever He wills unto His grace» – similar to the double meaning inherent in the oft-recurring phrase, Allahu yahdi man yashau wa-yudillu man yashau, which can be understood either as «God guides whomever He wills and lets go astray whomever He wills», or, alternatively, as «God guides him that wills [to be guided] and lets go astray him that wills [to go astray]». See, in particular, Zamakhshari’s elaborate comment on this problem quoted in note on the second half of 14:4.] – whereas the evildoers shall have none to protect them and none to succour them [on Judgment Day].

Indien het Gode had behaagd, zou hij hen allen nen godsdienst hebben doen belijden; maar hij leidt in zijne genade dengeen die hem behaagt, en de onrechtvaardigen zullen geen beschermer of helper hebben.

And had God willed, He could have made them one nation. But He admits whom He wills into His mercy. And the transgressors will have neither an ally, nor helper.

Se Allah avesse voluto, avrebbe fatto [degli uomini] un’unica comunità. Ma Egli lascia entrare chi vuole nella Sua misericordia. Gli ingiusti non avranno né patrono né alleato.

And if Allah had willed, He could have made them one nation, but He admits whom He wills to His Mercy. And the Zalimoon (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) will have neither a Walee (protector) nor a helper.

Если бы Аллах пожелал, то сделал бы их одной общиной верующих. Однако Он вводит в Свою милость того, кого пожелает. А у беззаконников не будет ни покровителя, ни помощника.

Если бы было угодно Аллаху, Он собрал бы их в одну религиозную общину, но Он оказывает Свою милость [только] тому, кому пожелает. А у нечестивцев не будет ни покровителя, ни помощника.

And if Allah had pleased He would surely have made them a single community, but He makes whom He pleases enter into His mercy, and the unjust it is that shall have no guardian or helper.

Had Allah willed, He could have made them one community, but Allah bringeth whom He will into His mercy. And the wrong-doers have no friend nor helper.

But had God pleased He would have made them one nation; but He makes whom He will enter into His mercy; and the unjust have neither patron nor help.

Eğer Allah dileseydi onları bir tek ümmet elbette yapıverirdi. Fakat O, dilediği kişiyi/dileyeni rahmetine sokar. Zalimlere gelince, onlar için ne bir dost vardır ne de bir yardımcı.

Had it been the Will of Allah, He would have made them all one nation. But He admits into His Mercy whom He will the harmdoers shall have neither a guardian nor helper.

Now had Allah willed, He could have made all of them one single community. But Allah brings into His Grace him who so wills (making himself worthy). Whereas for the violators of human rights shall be no patron and no helper.

Had GOD willed, He could have made them one community. But He redeems into His mercy whomever He wills. As for the transgressors, they have no master, nor a helper.

Had God so pleased, He had made them one people and of one creed: but He bringeth whom He will within His mercy; and as for the doers of evil, no patron, no helper shall there be for them.

If God had pleased, He had made them all of one religion: But He leadeth whom He pleaseth into his mercy; and the unjust shall have no patron or helper.

And if ALLAH had so willed, HE could have made them one people; but HE admits into HIS mercy whomsoever HE pleases. The wrongdoers will have no protector and no helper.

Hätte Allah gewollt, Er hätte sie zu einer einzigen Gemeinde machen können; jedoch Er läßt in Seine Barmherzigkeit ein, wen Er will. Und die Frevler werden keinen Beschützer noch Helfer haben.

И если бы Господь желал того, ■ Он мог бы сделать вас одной общиной. ■ Но в Свою милость вводит Он таких, ■ Кого сочтет (Себе угодным). ■ А преступившим не найти ни покровителя, ■ Ни тех, кто им окажет помощь.

Әгәр Аллаһ теләсә иде, кешеләрнең барчасын бер диндә кылыр иде, ләкин Аллаһ үзе теләгән бәндәсен Коръән белән гамәл кылдырып рәхмәтенә алыр. Әмма Коръән белән гамәл кылмаучы залимнәргә ул көндә дус та, ярдәмче да булмас.

اور اگر خدا چاہتا تو ان کو ایک ہی جماعت کردیتا لیکن وہ جس کو چاہتا ہے اپنی رحمت میں داخل کرلیتا ہے اور ظالموں کا نہ کوئی یار ہے اور نہ مددگار

اور اگر اللہ چاہتا تو اُن سب کو ایک ہی امّت بنا دیتا لیکن وہ جسے چاہتا ہے اپنی رحمت میں داخل فرماتا ہے، اور ظالموں کے لئے نہ کوئی دوست ہوگا اور نہ کوئی مددگار،
