وَ خَلَقَ الْجَانَّ مِنْ مارِجٍ مِنْ نارٍ

و خلق الجانّ من مارج من نار

Wakhalaqa aljanna min marijin min narin

و جن را از شعله اي بي دود

و جن را از زبانه آتش پديد آورد.

و جن را از شعله آتش بى‏دود خلق كرد.

و جن را از آمیزه ای [از شعله های مختلف] آتش به وجود آورد.

و آفريد جان را (كه پدر پريانست) از زبانه خالص و بى‏دود از آتش

و جن را از تشعشعى از آتش خلق كرد.

و جن را از شعله‏هاى درهم آتش.

و جن را از شعله آتش آفريد.

و آفريد جن را از شعله بيدودى از آتش

و جنّ را از زبانه‏اى از آتش خلق كرد

و جنّ را از شعله‌های مختلط و متحرّک آتش خلق کرد!

و پريان را از زبانه آتشى بى‏دود آفريد.

و آفريد جن را از شعله بيدودى از آتش

و آفريد پرى را از آميخته اى از آتش

و جنّیان را از رخشنده شعله آتش خلق کرد.

و جن ها را از آتش شعله ور خلق كرد.

And He created the Jinn from (the) flaming blazing torch mixed with blackened smoke from fire.

And the jinns did He create from a smokeless flame of fire.

and He created the jinn of a smokeless fire.

whereas the invisible beings He has created out of a confusing flame of fire. [Cf. 15:27 – «the fire of scorching winds (nar as-samum )» – thus stressing their non-corporeal origin and composition. The significance of the term jinn («invisible beings») has been touched upon briefly in notes on 6:100 and 37:158; for a more detailed explanation, see Appendix III.]

Maar hij schiep de geniussen van vuur, dat rein van rook was.

And the Jinn He created from a smokeless fire.

e i dèmoni da fiamma di un fuoco senza fumo.

And the jinns did He create from a smokeless flame of fire.

и создал джиннов из чистого пламени.

и создал джиннов из огненного пламени.

And He created the jinn of a flame of fire.

And the jinn did He create of smokeless fire.

And He created the ginn from smokeless fire.

Cini de ateşin dumansızından yarattı.

and He created the jinn from smokeless fire.

And the Jinns (nomads) He has created from a confused flame of fire (with a confused fiery disposition).

And created the jinns from blazing fire.

And He created the djinn of pure fire:

But He created the genii of fire clear from smoke.

And the jinn HE created of the flame of Fire.

Und die Dschinn schuf Er aus der Flamme des Feuers.

И джиннов создал из огня, ■ Свободного от дыма, –
