لِئَلاَّ يَعْلَمَ أَهْلُ الْكِتابِ أَلاَّ يَقْدِرُونَ عَلى شَيْ‏ءٍ مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَ أَنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشاءُ وَ اللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ

لئلاّ يعلم أهل الكتاب ألاّ يقدرون على شي‏ء من فضل اللّه و أنّ الفضل بيد اللّه يؤتيه من يشاء و اللّه ذو الفضل العظيم

Li-alla yaAAlama ahlu alkitabi alla yaqdiroona AAala shay-in min fadli Allahi waanna alfadla biyadi Allahi yu/teehi man yashao waAllahu thoo alfadli alAAatheemi

تا اهل کتاب بدانند که به بخشايش خداوند هيچ دسترس ندارند و اين بخشايش به دست اوست که به هر که خواهد ارزاني مي دارد ، و خدا را بخشايشي عظيم است

تا اهل كتاب بدانند كه صاحب اختيار چيزى از بخشش و بخشايش الهى نيستند; و بخشش و بخشايش به دست خداوند است، به هر كس كه خواهد ارزانى اش دارد; و خداوند داراى بخشش بيكران است.

تا اهل كتاب بدانند كه قادر نيستند فضل و بخشش خدا را منحصر بخود كنند و فضل و نعمت بدست قدرت خداست و او بر هر كه بخواهد مى‏بخشد و خدا داراى فضل و رحمت بى‏پايان است.

تا اهل کتاب بدانند [که اگر به پیامبر اسلام ایمان نیاورند] بر چیزی از فضل خدا دسترسی نخواهند داشت؛ بی تردید همه فضل به دست خداست، آن را به هرکس بخواهد عطا می کند و خدا دارای فضل بزرگ است.

(خدا به مؤمنان اين كرامتها مى‏دهد) تا بدانند اهل كتاب كه البته توانائى ندارند بر چيزى از فزون بخشى خدا و بيگمان فضل (افزونى پاداش) بدست خداست عطا كند آن را بهر كه خواهد (از اهل ايمان) و خدا داراى كرم بزرگ است

تا اهل كتاب بدانند كه به هيچ وجه فزون‏بخشى خدا در [حيطه‏] قدرت آنان نيست و فضل [و عنايت، تنها] در دست خداست: به هر كس بخواهد آن را عطا مى‏كند، و خدا داراى كرم بسيار است.

تا اهل كتاب بدانند كه قادر بر چيزى از فضل خدا نيستند و فضل و رحمت به دست اوست به هر كس بخواهد مى‏دهد و خداوند داراى فضل بزرگ است.

تا بدانند اهل كتاب كه [آنها] قادر نباشند بر چيزى از [بدست آوردن‏] فضل خداى و اينكه افزونى بدست خداست آن را بدهد بهر كه خواهد كه خدا صاحب فضل عظيم است.

تا بدانند اهل كتاب كه قدرت ندارند بر چيزى از فضل خدا و اينكه افزونى در دست خداست ميدهدش بآنكه مى‏خواهد و خدا صاحب فضل بزرگست

[اين موضوع را بيان كرد] تا اهل كتاب بدانند كه اختيارمند چيزى از فضل خدا نيستند و آنكه فضل به دست خداست. آن را به هر كس كه بخواهد مى‏دهد. و خداوند داراى فضل بزرگ است

تا اهل کتاب بدانند که قادر بر چیزی از فضل خدا نیستند، و تمام فضل (و رحمت) به دست اوست، به هر کس بخواهد آن را می‌بخشد؛ و خداوند دارای فضل عظیم است!

تا اهل كتاب- جهودان و ترسايان- بدانند كه بر هيچ چيز از فضل خدا- مانند پيامبرى- توانايى ندارند، و افزونى و بخشش به دست خداست، به هر كه خواهد مى‏دهد. و خدا، داراى فزون‏بخشى بزرگ است.

تا بدانند اهل كتاب كه قدرت ندارند بر چيزى از فضل خدا و اينكه افزونى در دست خداست ميدهدش بانكه مى‏خواهد و خدا صاحب فضل بزرگست

تا بدانند اهل كتاب كه توانايى ندارند بر چيزى از فضل خدا و آنكه فضل به دست خدا است دهدش به هر كه خواهد و خدا است دارنده فضلى بزرگ

تا آنان که اسلام نیاوردند از اهل کتاب بدانند که آنها هیچ به رحمت و فضل الهی دستی ندارند و هر فضلی و رحمتی به دست خداست، که او به هر که خواهد می‌بخشد و خدا دارای فضل و رحمت بزرگ و بی‌انتها است.

بنابراين، پيروان كتاب آسماني پيشين بايد بدانند كه رحمت و موهبت خدا را در انحصار خود ندارند و اينكه تمام رحمت در دست خداست. او آن را به هر كه بخواهد، عطا مي كند. خدا صاحب موهبت بي پايان است.

For that The Book’s people not know that they not be capable/able on a thing from God’s grace/favour , and that (E) the grace/favour (is) with God’s hand, He gives/brings it (to) whom He wills/wants/intends, and God (is owner) of the grace/favour/blessing, the great. (Jews and Christians all claim to be God’s favourite, this verse states that God’s mercy and blessing is to whomever He intends, and not exclusively to Jews or Christians).406

So that the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) may know that they have no power whatsoever over the Grace of Allah, and that (His) Grace is (entirely) in His Hand to bestow it on whomsoever He wills. And Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty.

that the People of the Book may know that they have no power over anything of God’s bounty, and that bounty is in the hand of God; He gives it unto whomsoever He will; and God is of bounty abounding.

And the followers of earlier revelation should know [Lit., «so that the followers of earlier revelation (i.e., the Bible) may know».] that they have no power whatever over any of God’s bounty, [I.e., that they have no exclusive claim to any of God’s bounty – which latter term relates, in the present context, to a bestowal of divine revelation. This is addressed in the first instance to the Jews, who reject the revelation granted to Muhammad in the belief that the office of prophethood is an exclusive «preserve» of the children of Israel, as well as to the Christians who, as followers of the Bible, implicitly accept this unwarranted claim.] seeing that all bounty is in God’s hand [alone]: He grants it unto whomever He wills – for God is limitless in His great bounty.

Dat zij, die de schriften hebben ontvangen, mogen weten, dat zij geene macht hebben over eenige der gunsten van God, en dat het goede in zijne hand is. Hij schenkt dat naar zijn welbehagen; want Gods goedheid is oneindig.

So that the followers of the Scripture should know that they have no power over God’s grace, and that all grace is in God’s hand. He bestows it upon whomever He wills. God is Possessor of Infinite Grace.

La gente della Scrittura sappia che non ha alcun potere sulla Grazia di Allah. In verità la Grazia è nella mano di Allah ed Egli la concede a chi vuole. Allah possiede immensa Grazia.

So that the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) may know that they have no power whatsoever over the Grace of Allah, and that (His) Grace is (entirely) in His Hand to bestow it on whomsoever He wills. And Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty.

Аллах одарит вас для того, чтобы люди Писания знали, что они ничего не способны приобрести из милости Аллаха и что милость находится в Руке Аллаха, Который дарует ее тому, кому пожелает. Аллах обладает великой милостью.

И пусть люди Писания знают, что они не властны ни над чем из щедрот Аллаха, что щедрость – во власти Аллаха и Он дарует тому, кому пожелает, ведь Аллах обладает великой щедростью.

So that the followers of the Book may know that they do not control aught of the grace of Allah, and that grace is in Allah’s hand, He gives it to whom He pleases; and Allah is the Lord of mighty grace.

That the People of the Scripture may know that they control naught of the bounty of Allah, but that the bounty is in Allah’s hand to give to whom He will. And Allah is of Infinite Bounty.

That the people of the Book may know that they cannot control aught of God’s grace; and that grace is in God’s hands, He gives it to whom He will; for God is Lord of mighty grace!

Böylece, Ehlikitap, Allah’ın lütfundan hiçbir şeyi kotarma gücünde olmadıklarını bilsinler. Lütuf, Allah’ın elindedir; onu dilediğine verir. Allah, büyük lütfun sahibidir.

So that the People of the Book may know that they have no power over any of the favors of Allah; that the favors are in the Hand of Allah; He gives it to whom He will. The Favor of Allah is the Great.

And the People of the Scripture should know that they have no power whatsoever over the Bounty of Allah. All Bounty is in Allah’s hand and He grants it according to His Laws. And Allah is the Lord of a tremendous bounty. (He is the Lord of the Worlds and the Lord of all mankind and discriminates not between people (1:1), (114:1)).

Thus, the followers of previous scripture should know that they have not monopolized GOD’s mercy and grace, and that all grace is in GOD’s hand. He bestows it upon whomever He wills. GOD is Possessor of Infinite Grace.

That the people of the Book may know that they have no control over aught of the favours of God, and that these gifts of grace are in the hands of God, and that He vouchsafeth them to whom he will; for God is of immense bounty.

That those who have received the scriptures may know that they have not power over any of the favours of God, and that good is in the hand of God; He bestoweth the same on whom He pleaseth, for God is endued with great beneficence.

Thus it is that the People of the Book may know that they have no power over anything of the grace of ALLAH; and that grace is entirely in the hands of ALLAH, HE gives it to whomsoever HE pleases. And ALLAH is the Master of immense grace.

Damit das Volk der Schrift nicht wähne, daß sie (die Muslims) nicht imstande sind, die Huld Allahs zu erlangen. Die Huld ist in Allahs Hand, auf daß Er sie verleihe, wem Er will. Und Allah ist der Eigner großer Huld.

И чтобы знали люди Книги, ■ Что нет им власти ни над чем из милости Аллаха, ■ Что милость – вся в Его Руке ■ И Он дарует ее тем, ■ Кого сочтет Своей угодой, – ■ Ведь лишь Аллах – Податель всех щедрот.

Китап әһеле яһүдләр вә насаралар белсеннәр өчен Аллаһудан узып һич нәрсәгә көчләре җитмәгәнлекне Аллаһуның юмартлыгыннан үзләренә булдырырга, вә белсеннәр ки, юмартлык, әлбәттә, Аллаһ кулындадыр, аны үзе теләгән кешесенә бирер, Аллаһ олугъ юмартлык вә рәхмәт ияседер.

(یہ باتیں) اس لئے (بیان کی گئی ہیں) کہ اہل کتاب جان لیں کہ وہ خدا کے فضل پر کچھ بھی قدرت نہیں رکھتے۔ اور یہ کہ فضل خدا ہی کے ہاتھ ہے جس کو چاہتا ہے دیتا ہے اور خدا بڑے فضل کا مالک ہے

(یہ بیان اِس لئے ہے) کہ اہلِ کتاب جان لیں کہ وہ اللہ کے فضل پر کچھ قدرت نہیں رکھتے اور (یہ) کہ سارا فضل اللہ ہی کے دستِ قدرت میں ہے وہ جِسے چاہتا ہے عطا فرماتا ہے، اور اللہ فضل والا عظمت والا ہے،
