يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللَّهِ ما قالُوا وَ لَقَدْ قالُوا كَلِمَةَ الْكُفْرِ وَ كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِسْلامِهِمْ وَ هَمُّوا بِما لَمْ يَنالُوا وَ ما نَقَمُوا إِلاَّ أَنْ أَغْناهُمُ اللَّهُ وَ رَسُولُهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ فَإِنْ يَتُوبُوا يَكُ خَيْراً لَهُمْ وَ إِنْ يَتَوَلَّوْا يُعَذِّبْهُمُ اللَّهُ عَذاباً أَلِيماً فِي الدُّنْيا وَ الآْخِرَةِ وَ ما لَهُمْ فِي الأَْرْضِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَ لا نَصِيرٍ

يحلفون باللّه ما قالوا و لقد قالوا كلمة الكفر و كفروا بعد إسلامهم و همّوا بما لم ينالوا و ما نقموا إلاّ أن أغناهم اللّه و رسوله من فضله فإن يتوبوا يك خيرا لهم و إن يتولّوا يعذّبهم اللّه عذابا أليما في الدّنيا و الآخرة و ما لهم في الأرض من وليّ و لا نصير

Yahlifoona biAllahi ma qaloo walaqad qaloo kalimata alkufri wakafaroo baAAda islamihim wahammoo bima lam yanaloo wama naqamoo illa an aghnahumu Allahu warasooluhu min fadlihi fa-in yatooboo yaku khayran lahum wa-in yatawallaw yuAAaththibhumu Allahu AAathaban aleeman fee alddunya waal-akhirati wama lahum fee al-ardi min waliyyin wala naseerin

به خدا سوگند مي خورند که نگفته اند ، ولي کلمه کفر را بر زبان رانده ، اند و پس از آنکه اسلام آورده بودند کافر شده اند و قصد کاري کردند ، اما بدان نايل نشدند عيبجوييشان از آن روست که خدا و پيامبرش از غنايم بي نيازشان کردند پس اگر توبه کنند خيرشان در آن است ، و اگر رويگردان شوند خدا به عذاب دردناکي در دنيا و آخرت معذبشان خواهد کرد و آنهارا در روي زمين نه دوستداري خواهد بود و نه مددکاري

اينان به خداوند سوگند مى خورند كه نگفته اند ولى به راستى سخن كفرآميز را گفته اند، و بعد از اسلام آوردنشان كافر شده اند; و آهنگ كارى را كرده اند كه به آن دست نيافته اند و به انكار برنخاستند مگر از آن روى كه خداوند و پيامبرش از فضل خويش ايشان را توانگر ساخت

منافقان بنام خدا سوگند ياد ميكنند كه چيز بدى نگفتند (چنان نيست) آنان سخنان كفرآميز بر زبان آوردند و بعد از اسلام آوردن، كافر شدند و تصميماتى اتخاذ كردند كه موفق به انجام آنها نشدند (سوء قصد بجان رسول خدا) آنها بجاى آنكه در برابر نعمت و ثروتى كه بفضل و بخشش خدا و پيامبرش نصيب آنها شده، سپاسگزار باشند، در مقام كينه و دشمنى بر آمدند، با اينحال اگر توبه كنند براى آنها بسيار بهتر است و اگر نافرمانى كنند، خدا آنها را در دنيا و آخرت بعذابى بس دردناك مجازات خواهند كرد و در روى زمين هيچ دوست و ياورى براى آنان نخواهد بود.

همواره سوگند می خورند که [بر ضد پیامبر سخن ناروا و نادرست] نگفته اند، در صورتی که سخن کفرآمیز گفته اند و پس از اسلامشان کافر شده اند و به آنچه [از اهداف خائنانه ای که] دست نیافتند، اهتمام ورزیدند، و زبان به عیب جویی و انکار [نسبت به پیامبر] نگشودند مگر پس از آنکه خدا و پیامبرش آنان را از فضل و احسان خود توانگر ساختند؛ پس اگر توبه کنند برای آنان بهتر است؛ و اگر روی [از خدا و پیامبر] برگردانند، خدا آنان را در دنیا و آخرت به عذابی دردناک می ازات خواهد کرد و آنان را در زمین سرپرست و یاری [برای نجاتشان از چنگال عذاب] نخواهد بود.

منافقان قسم مى‏خورند بخدا كه (طعنه زدن در دين را) نگفته‏اند و بخدا قسم كه گفته‏اند كلمه كفر را و كافر شدند بعد از اسلامشان و اهتمام داشتند به چيزى كه بدان نايل نشدند و ايشان (با مسلمانان) كينه نداشتند مگر آنكه بى‏نيازشان كرده بود خدا و رسولش از كرم خود پس اگر منافقان توبه كنند آن بهتر است براى ايشان و اگر (از توبه) روى بگردانند عذابشان كند خدا عذابى دردناك در دنيا (به بدنامى) و در آخرت (به آتش) و نيست براى ايشان هيچ سرپرستى و نه ياورى

به خدا سوگند مى‏خورند كه [سخن ناروا] نگفته‏اند، در حالى كه قطعاً سخن كفر گفته و پس از اسلام آوردنشان كفر ورزيده‏اند، و بر آنچه موفق به انجام آن نشدند همّت گماشتند، و به عيبجويى برنخاستند مگر [بعد از] آنكه خدا و پيامبرش از فضل خود آنان را بى‏نياز گردانيدند. پس اگر توبه كنند براى آنان بهتر است، و اگر روى برتابند، خدا آنان را در دنيا و آخرت عذابى دردناك مى‏كند، و در روى زمين يار و ياورى نخواهند داشت.

به خدا سوگند ياد مى‏كنند كه كلمه كفر را نگفته‏اند، ولى گفته‏اند و پس از اسلام آوردن به كفر باز گشته‏اند، و قصد كارى كرده‏اند كه به آن دست نيافته‏اند، فقط به اين سبب عيبجويى مى‏كنند كه خدا توسط رسولش آنها را از فضل خود بى‏نياز كرد، اگر توبه كنندگان براى‏شان بهتر است و اگر روى بگردانند خداوند در دنيا و آخرت با عذاب دردناكى كيفرشان مى‏دهد و در روى زمين بى‏دوست و ياور خواهند بود.

به خدا سوگند مى‏خورند كه [كفر و ناسزا] نگفتند. و به يقين كلمه كفر را گفتند و پس از اسلامشان كافر شدند و چيزى را قصد كردند كه [بدان‏] نايل نشدند [مقصود رئيس ساختن عبد اللَّه ابىّ بود] و كينه نورزيدند مگر اينكه خدا و رسولش از فضل خود آنها را بى‏نياز كردند، پس اگر توبه كنند برايشان بهتر است، و اگر روى بگردانند خدا در دنيا و آخرت آنها را [به‏] عذابى دردناك عذاب كند و در زمين براى آنان دوستى و ياورى نباشد.

سوگند ميخورند بخدا كه نگفتند و بحقيقت گفتند كلمه كفر را و كافر شدند بعد از اسلامشان و خواهش كردند بآنچه نرسيدند و كينه نورزيدند مگر آن كه بى‏نياز كرد ايشانرا خدا و رسول او از فضلش پس اگر توبه كنند باشد بهتر ايشانرا و اگر رو گردانند عذابشان كند خدا بعذابى دردناك در دنيا و آخرت و نباشد ايشانرا در زمين هيچ دوستى و نه يارى كننده

به خداوند سوگند مى‏خورند كه نگفته‏اند. و به راستى سخن كفر را گفته‏اند و پس از اسلامشان كافر شده‏اند و آهنگ چيزى را كرده‏اند كه به [آن دست‏] نيافته‏اند و مگر از آن روى كه خداوند و رسولش آنان را از فضل خود توانگر ساخته‏اند، سر انكار بر نداشتند، پس اگر توبه كنند برايشان بهتر است و اگر [از توبه كردن‏] رويگردان شوند، خداوند در دنيا و آخرت آنان را به عذابى دردناك عذاب كند. آنان در اين سرزمين هيچ يار مددكارى ندارند

به خدا سوگند می‌خورند که (در غیاب پیامبر، سخنان نادرست) نگفته‌اند؛ در حالی که قطعاً سخنان کفرآمیز گفته‌اند؛ و پس از اسلام‌آوردنشان، کافر شده‌اند؛ و تصمیم (به کار خطرناکی) گرفتند، که به آن نرسیدند. آنها فقط از این انتقام می‌گیرند که خداوند و رسولش، آنان را به فضل (و کرم) خود، بی‌نیاز ساختند! به خدا سوگند مى‏خورند كه [چيزى‏] نگفته‏اند و هر آينه سخن كفر را گفته‏اند و پس از آنكه اسلام آوردند كافر شدند و آهنگ چيزى كردند كه بدان نرسيدند- كشتن رسول خدا [ص‏] در عقبه- و [از پيامبر و مؤمنان‏] كينه نداشتند مگر از آن رو كه خداى آنان را از بخشش و فزونى خود بى‏نياز و توانگر ساخت و پيامبرش نيز. پس اگر توبه كنند برايشان بهتر است و اگر روى بگردانند و پشت كنند خداى آنها را عذاب خواهد كرد عذابى دردناك در اين جهان و آن جهان، و ايشان را در زمين هيچ سرپرست و ياورى نباشد.

سوگند ميخورند بخدا كه نگفتند و بحقيقت گفتند كلمه كفر را و كافر شدند بعد از اسلامشان و خواهش كردند بآنچه نرسيدند و كينه نورزيدند مگر آن كه بى‏نياز كرد ايشان را خدا و رسول او از فضلش پس اگر توبه كنند باشد بهتر ايشان را و اگر رو گردانند عذابشان كند خدا بعذابى دردناك در دنيا و آخرت و نباشد ايشان را در زمين هيچ دوستى و نه يارى كننده

سوگند خورند به خدا نگفتند و هر آينه گفتند سخن كفر را و كافر شدند پس از اسلامشان و خواستند آنچه را بدان نرسيدند و كين ندارند مگر از آن رو كه بى نيازشان كرد خدا و پيمبرش از فضل خود پس اگر توبه كنند بهتر باشدشان و اگر پشت كنند عذابشان كند خدا عذابى دردناك در دنيا و آخرت و نيستشان در زمين دوست و نه ياورى

(منافقان) قسم به خدا یاد می‌کنند که (حرف کفر) بر زبان نیاورده‌اند، و (چنین نیست) البته سخن کفر گفته و پس از اظهار اسلام کافر شدند و همت بر آنچه موفق بر آن نشدند گماشتند (یعنی همت بر قتل رسول و اخراج او و هر گونه فساد در دین او گماشتند ولی موفق نشدند) آنها به جای آنکه از آن بی‌نیازی که به فضل خدا و رسول نصیب آنها شد شکر گویند در مقام انتقام و دشمنی برآمدند، اکنون هم اگر باز توبه کنند برای آنها بهتر است و اگر روی بگردانند آنها را خدا در دنیا و آخرت به عذابی دردناک معذب خواهد فرمود و دیگر در همه روی زمین یک نفر دوستدار و یاوری برای آنها نخواهد بود.

آنها به خدا سوگند مي خورند كه هرگز كفر نگفتند، اگرچه كلمه كفر را بر زبان آورده اند؛ آنها پس از آنكه از تسليم شدگان شدند، به كفر گرويده اند. درواقع، از آنچه كه هرگز نداشتند، صرف نظر كردند. آنها با آنكه خدا و رسولش باران موهبت و روزي هاي او را بر آنها فرستاده است، سركش شده اند. اگر توبه كنند، برايشان بهترين است. اما اگر روي گردانند، خدا آنها را در اين دنيا و در آخرت به عذابي دردناك دچار خواهد كرد. آنها هيچ کس را در روي زمين نخواهند يافت تا مولا و سرورشان باشد.

They swear/take oath by God, (that) they did not say, and (but) they had said the disbelief’s word/expression ,and they disbelieved after their Islam/submission/surrender, and they got interested/resolved with what they did not take/receive/obtain, and they did not revenge/criticize except that God and His messenger enriched them from His grace , so if they repent (it will) be best for them, and if they turn away, God tortures them a painful torture in the present world and the end (other life), and in the earth/Planet Earth no guardian/ally and nor victorior/savior (be) for them .

[The hypocrites] swear by God that they have said nothing ; yet most certainly have they uttered a saying which amounts to a denial of the truth,›? and have [thus] denied the truth after [having professed] their self-surrender to God: for they were aiming at something which was beyond their reach. And they could find no fault [with the Faith] save that God had enriched them and [caused] His Apostle [to enrich them] out of His bounty!›?? Hence, if they repent, it will be for their own good. but if they turn away, God will cause them to suffer grievous suffering in this world and in the life to come, and they will find no helper on earth, and none to give [them] succour.

Zij zweren bij God, dat zij niet zeiden waarvan zij worden beschuldigd, en toch hebben zij het woord van ongeloovigheid geuit en werden ongeloovigen, nadat zij den Islam hadden omhelsd. En zij vormden een plan, maar konden het niet volvoeren; en zij vormden het niet, dan omdat God en zijn gezant hen door hunne goedheid hebben verrijkt. Indien zij zich bekeeren, zal het beter voor hen zijn; maar indien zij terugtrekken, zal God hen met eene strenge pijniging straffen, zoo wel in deze als in de volgende wereld, en zij zullen noch eenen schuts op aarde noch eenen beschermer hebben.

They swear by God that they did not say it, while they had said the word of rejection, and they rejected after they had surrendered, and they were concerned with what they could not possess; and they could not find any fault except that God and His messenger had enriched them from His bounty. If they repent it is better for them, and if they turn away, then God will punish them severely in this world and the next. They will not have on Earth any ally or supporter.

They swear by Allah that they did not speak, and certainly they did speak, the word of unbelief, and disbelieved after their Islam, and they had determined upon what they have not been able to effect, and they did not find fault except because Allah and His Messenger enriched them out of His grace; therefore if they repent, it will be good for them; and if they turn back, Allah will chastise them with a painful chastisement in this world and the hereafter, and they shall not have in the land any guardian or a helper.

They swear by Allah that they said nothing (wrong), yet they did say the word of disbelief, and did disbelieve after their Surrender (to Allah). And they purposed that which they could not attain, and they sought revenge only that Allah by His messenger should enrich them of His bounty. If they repent it will be better for them; and if they turn away, Allah will afflict them with a painful doom in the world and the Hereafter, and they have no protecting friend nor helper in the earth.

They swear by God they did not speak it, but they did speak the word of misbelief; and they disbelieved after they had embraced Islam, and they designed what they could not attain; and they only disapproved it because God and His Apostle had enriched them of His grace. If they turn again ’tis better for them; but if they turn their backs, God will torment them with mighty woe in this world and in the next, nor shall they have upon the earth a patron or protector.

They swear by Allah that they said nothing. Yet they did utter the word of disbelief and disbelieved after they had submitted. They intended what they never attained to, and took revenge only that Allah enriched them, and His Messenger, of His Bounty. If they repent, it will indeed be better for them; but if they turn away, Allah will sternly punish them both in this world and in the Everlasting Life. They have none on earth to protect or help them.

(The hypocrites) swear by Allah that they have said nothing wrong. Yet they most certainly have uttered a word of disbelief (9:61-62). And have denied the Truth after professing their surrender to Allah. They were aiming at something beyond their reach (attaining inner peace without sincerity to the Divine Guidance). And they could find no fault in the Divine System except that Allah has enriched them and caused His Messenger to enrich them out of His Bounty. Hence, it will be good for them if they repent and correct themselves. But if they still turn away, Allah will cause them to suffer grievous retribution in this world and in the life to come. And they will have no protector or helper in the earth.

They swear by GOD that they never said it, although they have uttered the word of disbelief; they have disbelieved after becoming submitters. In fact, they gave up what they never had. They have rebelled even though GOD and His messenger have showered them with His grace and provisions. If they repent, it would be best for them. But if they turn away, GOD will commit them to painful retribution in this life and in the Hereafter. They will find no one on earth to be their lord and master.

They swear by God that they said no such thing: yet spake they the word of infidelity, and from Muslims became unbelievers! They planned what they could not effect; and only disapproved of it because God and His Apostle had enriched them by His bounty! If they repent it will be better for them; but if they fall back into their sin, with a grievous chastisement will God chastise them in this world and the next, and on earth they shall have neither friend nor protector!

یہ خدا کی قسمیں کھاتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے (تو کچھ) نہیں کہا حالانکہ انہوں نے کفر کا کلمہ کہا ہے اور یہ اسلام لانے کے بعد کافر ہوگئے ہیں اور ایسی بات کا قصد کرچکے ہیں جس پر قدرت نہیں پاسکے۔ اور انہوں نے (مسلمانوں میں) عیب ہی کون سا دیکھا ہے سوا اس کے کہ خدا نے اپنے فضل سے اور اس کے پیغمبر نے (اپنی مہربانی سے) ان کو دولت مند کر دیا ہے۔ تو اگر یہ لوگ توبہ کرلیں تو ان کے حق میں بہتر ہوگا۔ اور اگر منہ پھیر لیں تو ان کو دنیا اور آخرت میں دکھ دینے والا عذاب دے گا اور زمین میں ان کا کوئی دوست اور مددگار نہ ہوگا

(یہ منافقین) اللہ کی قَسمیں کھاتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے (کچھ) نہیں کہا حالانکہ انہوں نے یقیناً کلمہ کفر کہا اور وہ اپنے اسلام (کو ظاہر کرنے) کے بعد کافر ہو گئے اور انہوں نے (کئی اذیت رساں باتوں کا) ارادہ (بھی) کیا تھا جنہیں وہ نہ پا سکے اور وہ (اسلام اور رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے عمل میں سے) اور کسی چیز کو ناپسند نہ کر سکے سوائے اس کے کہ انہیں اللہ اور اس کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنے فضل سے غنی کر دیا تھا، سو اگر یہ (اب بھی) توبہ کر لیں تو ان کے لئے بہتر ہے اور اگر (اسی طرح) روگرداں رہیں تو اللہ انہیں دنیا اور آخرت (دونوں زندگیوں) میں دردناک عذاب میں مبتلا فرمائے گا اور ان کے لئے زمین میں نہ کوئی دوست ہوگا اور نہ کوئی مددگار،
