وَ ما أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ وَ لَوْ حَرَصْتَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ

و ما أكثر النّاس و لو حرصت بمؤمنين

Wama aktharu alnnasi walaw harasta bimu/mineena

هر چند تو به ايمانشان حريص باشي ، بيشتر مردم ايمان نمي آورند

و بيشترينه مردم، و لو تو سخت بكوشى و بخواهى، مؤمن نمى شوند.

اكثر مردم ايمان نمى‏آورند، اگر چه تو بر ايمان آوردن آنها حريص و مشتاق باشى.

بیشتر مردم هر چند رغبت شدید [به ایمان آوردنشان] داشته باشی، ایمان نمی آورند.

و نيستند بيشتر مردم و اگر چه حرص ورزى ايمان آورنده

و بيشتر مردم -هر چند آرزومند باشى- ايمان‏آورنده نيستند.

و بيشتر مردم- و لو بسيار مشتاق باشى- ايمان نخواهند آورد.

و بيشتر مردم ايمان نياورند، اگر چه تو به [ايمان‏] مؤمنان حريص باشى.

و نباشند اكثر مردمان گرچه حرص ورزى تو گروندگان

و بيشتر مردم- و اگر چه حرص ورزى- مؤمن نخواهند بود

و بیشتر مردم، هر چند اصرار داشته باشی، ایمان نمی‌آورند!

و بيشتر مردم مؤمن نخواهند شد هر چند [بر ايمان آوردنشان‏] بسى آرزو برى.

و نباشند اكثر مردمان گر چه حرص ورزى تو گروندگان

و نيستند بيشتر مردم و هر چند آرزومند باشى باوركنندگان

و تو هر چند جهد و ترغیب در ایمان مردم کنی باز اکثر آنان ایمان نخواهند آورد (دل پاکت را زیاد رنجه مدار).

اکثر مردم، هر کاري کني، ايمان نخواهند آورد.

And most of the people are not with believing, and even if you held onto stingily and desired strongly (were careful).

And most of mankind will not believe even if you desire it eagerly.

Yet, be thou ever so eager, the most part of men believe not.

Yet – however strongly thou mayest desire it -most people will not believe [in this revelation],

Maar het grootste deel der menschen zullen, hoewel gij het ernstig begeert, niet gelooven.

And most of the people, even if you are diligent, will not believe.

La maggior parte degli uomini non crederanno, nonostante il tuo ardente desiderio.

And most of mankind will not believe even if you desire it eagerly.

Большая часть людей не уверует, даже если ты страстно будешь желать этого.

И если бы даже ты захотел, [все равно] большая часть людей не уверует.

And most men will not believe though you desire it eagerly.

And though thou try much, most men will not believe.

And yet most men, though thou shouldst be urgent, will not believe.

Sen hırslanasıya istesen de, insanların çoğu inanmayacaktır.

Even though you are so eager, most people will not believe.

(Although you narrated the accurate account of Joseph as they demanded), most of these people will not believe even as you compassionately so desire.

Most people, no matter what you do, will not believe.

This is one of the secret histories which we reveal unto thee. Thou wast not present with Joseph’s brethren when they conceived their design and laid their plot: but the greater part of men, though thou long for it, will not believe.

But the greater part of men, although thou earnestly desire it, will not believe.

And most men will not believe even though eagerly desire it.

Und die meisten Menschen werden nicht glauben, magst du es auch noch so eifrig wünschen.

И все же большинство людей, ■ Как ни желал бы ты (обратного тому), ■ В неверии живут (и умирают).

Ләкин син никадәр тырышсаң да күп кешеләр иман китермәсләр.

اور بہت سے آدمی گو تم (کتنی ہی) خواہش کرو ایمان لانے والے نہیں ہیں

اور اکثر لوگ ایمان لانے والے نہیں ہیں اگرچہ آپ (کتنی ہی) خواہش کریں،
