رُبَما يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ كانُوا مُسْلِمِينَ

ربما يودّ الّذين كفروا لو كانوا مسلمين

بسا که کافران آرزو کنند که اي کاش مسلمان مي بودند

چه بسا كافران آرزو كنند كه مسلمان بودند.

چه بسا كافران آرزو كنند كه كاش مسلمان (و خدا پرست) مى‏شدند.

کافران [هنگام روبرو شدن با عذاب] چه بسا آرزو می کنند که کاش تسلیم [فرمان های خدا] بودند.

اى بسا آرزو مى‏كنند (در قيامت) آنانكه كافر شدند كه كاشكى بودند مسلمان

چه بسا كسانى كه كافر شدند آرزو كنند كه كاش مسلمان بودند.

چه بسا كافران آرزو مى‏كنند كه كاش مسلمان بودند،

چه بسا آن كسان كه كافر شدند، دوست دارند اگر مسلمان بودند.

بسا كه آرزو كنند آنان كه كافر شدند كه كاش بودند مسلمانان

چه بسا كافران دوست دارند، اى كاش مسلمان مى‏بودند

کافران (هنگامی که آثار شوم اعمال خود را ببینند،) چه بسا آرزو می‌کنند که ای کاش مسلمان بودند!

چه بسا كسانى كه كافر شدند آرزو كنند كه كاش مسلمان بودند.

بسا كه آرزو كنند آنان كه كافر شدند كه كاش بودند مسلمانان

بسا دوست دارند آنان كه كفر ورزيدند كاش مى بودند مسلمانان

کافران (چون چشم حقیقت بین بگشایند) ای بسا آرزو کنند که کاش مسلم و خداپرست بودند.

مسلماً، كساني كه كافر شدند، آرزو خواهند كرد كه اي ‌كاش از تسليم‌شدگان مي ‌بودند.

Maybe those who disbelieved wish/love if they were Moslems/submitters/surrenderers.

Perhaps (often) will those who disbelieve wish that they were Muslims (those who have submitted themselves to Allahs Will in Islam Islamic Monotheism, this will be on the Day of Resurrection when they will see the disbelievers going to Hell and the Muslims going to Paradise).

Perchance the unbelievers will wish that they had surrendered:

And it will come to pass that those who are [now] bent on denying this truth will wish that they had surrendered themselves to God [in their life time].›

De tijd zal komen, waarop de ongeloovigen zullen wenschen, dat zij Moslems mochten zijn geweest.

Perhaps those who have rejected will wish they were of those who surrendered!
