وَ ما يَنْبَغِي لِلرَّحْمنِ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ وَلَداً

و ما ينبغي للرّحمن أن يتّخذ ولدا

Wama yanbaghee lilrrahmani an yattakhitha waladan

خداي رحمان را سزاوار نيست که صاحب فرزندي باشد

و سزاوار نيست كه خداوند رحمان فرزندى برگزيند.

هرگز شايسته و سزاوار خداى رحمان نيست كه فرزندى اتخاذ كند.

و [خدای] رحمان را نسزد که فرزندی اختیار کند.

شايسته نيست براى خداى بخشاينده كه بگيرد فرزندى

[خداى‏] رحمان را نسزد كه فرزندى اختيار كند.

فرزند گزيدن براى خداى رحمان سزاوار نيست.

و براى [خداى‏] بخشنده، سزاوار نباشد كه فرزندى بگيرد.

و سزاوار نيست خداى بخشنده را كه بگيرد فرزندى

و [خداوند] رحمان را نسزد كه فرزندى بر گيرد

در حالی که هرگز برای خداوند رحمان سزاوار نیست که فرزندی برگزیند!

و خداى رحمان را نسزد كه فرزندى گيرد.

و سزاوار نيست خداى بخشنده را كه بگيرد فرزندى

و نيست شايسته براى خداوند مهربان كه گيرد فرزندى را

در صورتی که هرگز خدای رحمن را (که منزه از مثل و مانند است) فرزند داشتن سزاوار نخواهد بود.

اين در شأن بخشنده ترين نيست كه پسري داشته باشد.

And (it) would not (be) to the merciful that He takes a child (son).

But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children).

and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son.

although it is inconceivable that the Most Gracious should take unto Himself a son!»

Terwijl het Gode niet past kinderen te baren.

And what need does the Almighty have to take a son?

Non si addice al Compassionevole prenderSi un figlio.

But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children).

Не подобает Милостивому иметь сына!

Не подобает Милостивому иметь сына!

And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son.

When it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should choose a son.

but it, becomes not the Merciful to take to Himself a son!

Rahman’a çocuk edinmek yakışmaz.

It is not for the Merciful to take a son!

It is not befitting for the Majesty of the Beneficent that He should choose a son.

It is not befitting the Most Gracious that He should beget a son.

when it beseemeth not the God of Mercy to beget a son!

whereas it becometh not God to beget children.

It becomes not the Gracious God that HE should take unto Himself a son.

Während es dem Gnadenreichen nicht ziemt, Sich einen Sohn beizugesellen.

(Господнему величию) Аллаха ■ Не подобает сына брать Себе.

Бала китермәк Аллаһуга һич лаек түгел.

اور خدا کو شایاں نہیں کہ کسی کو بیٹا بنائے

اور (خدائے) رحمان کے شایانِ شان نہیں ہے کہ وہ (کسی کو اپنا) لڑکا بنائے،
