إِنَّ فِي ذلِكَ لآَياتٍ وَ إِنْ كُنَّا لَمُبْتَلِينَ

إنّ في ذلك لآيات و إن كنّا لمبتلين

Inna fee thalika laayatin wa-in kunna lamubtaleena

در اين داستان عبرتها و پندهاست ، و ما تنها آزمايندگاني بوديم

بيگمان در اين مايه هاى عبرتى هست و ما آزماينده بوده ايم.

مسلما در آن (طوفان نوح) نشانه‏هايى است از براى دانشوران و خردمندان و ما پيوسته مردم را مورد آزمايش و كيفر قرار ميدهيم.

همانا در این [سرگذشت] نشانه هایی [از قدرت، رحمت و انتقام خدا] برای عبرت گیرندگان است؛ و یقیناً ما آزمایش کننده بندگانیم.

البته در آن (چه كرديم) نشانه‏هائيست و بوديم تا امتحان كننده

در حقيقت، در اين [ماجرا] عبرتهايى است، و قطعاً ما آزمايش‏كننده بوديم.

به راستى در اين ماجرا نشانه‏هايى است و بدان كه ما آزمايندگانيم.

بى‏گمان در اين [داستان، خلق را] نشانه‏ها [و عبرت‏ها] است، و بى‏گمان ما [بندگان خويش را] آزمايش كنيم.

بدرستيكه در آن هر آينه آيت هاست و بدرستيكه بوديم هر آينه آزمايندگان

بى گمان در اين [ماجرا] نشانه‏هايى است و به راستى ما سر آزمون داشتيم

(آری،) در این ماجرا (برای صاحبان عقل و اندیشه) آیات و نشانه‌هایی است؛ و ما مسلّماً همگان را آزمایش می‌کنیم!

همانا در اين [داستان‏] نشانه‏ها و عبرتهاست و براستى ما آزمون كننده بوديم.

بدرستى كه در آن هر آينه آيت‏هاست و بدرستى كه بوديم هر آينه آزمايندگان

همانا در اين است آيتهائى و همانا هستيم ما آزمايش كنندگان

همانا در این حکایت آیت و عبرتهاست و البته ما (بندگان را به این‌گونه حوادث) آزمایش کننده‌ایم.

اينها بايد برايتان مدرك‌هاي كافي باشند. ما مسلماً شما را امتحان خواهيم كرد.

That in that (are) evidences/signs (E), and if We were testing (E).

Verily, in this (what We did as regards drowning of the people of Nooh (Noah)), there are indeed Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc. for men to understand), for sure We are ever putting (men) to the test.

Surely in that are signs, and surely We put to the test.

In this [story], behold, there are messages indeed [for those who think]: for, verily, We always put [man] to a test.

Waarlijk, hierin lagen teekens onzer almacht, en wij beproefden de menschen daardoor.

In this are signs, and We will always test.

Questi certamente furono segni. In verità Noi siamo Colui che mette alla prova.

Verily, in this (what We did as regards drowning of the people of Nooh (Noah)), there are indeed Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc. for men to understand), for sure We are ever putting (men) to the test.

Воистину, в этом есть знамения. Воистину, Мы подвергаем испытанию.

Воистину, в этом [повествовании] заключены знамения, Мы же только испытывали [народ Нуха].

Most surely there are signs in this, and most surely We are ever trying (men).

Lo! herein verily are portents, for lo! We are ever putting (mankind) to the test.

Verily, in that is a sign, and, verily, we were trying them.

Biz onları imtihan ediyor idiysek de bunda elbette ibretler vardır!

Surely, in that are signs, and surely We will put (nations) to the test.

Behold, herein are Messages indeed, for Our Law keeps testing nations (for viability).

These should provide sufficient proofs for you. We will certainly put you to the test.

Verily in this were signs, and verily we made proof of man.

Verily herein were signs of our omnipotence; and We proved mankind thereby.

Verily in this there are Signs. Surely, WE do try people.

Wahrlich, hierin sind Zeichen, und Wir stellen nur auf die Probe.

Поистине, здесь кроются знамения (для тех, кто внемлет), – ■ Так Мы испытываем (род людской).

Аллаһуга итагать итүче мөэминнәрнең әнә шулай котылуларында һәм залимнәрнең һәлак булуында гыйбрәтләр бар, Без аларны Нухны җибәреп имтихан кылдык.

بےشک اس (قصے) میں نشانیاں ہیں اور ہمیں تو آزمائش کرنی تھی

بیشک اس (واقعہ) میں (بہت سی) نشانیاں ہیں اور یقیناً ہم آزمائش کرنے والے ہیں،
