قالَ نَكِّرُوا لَها عَرْشَها نَنْظُرْ أَ تَهْتَدِي أَمْ تَكُونُ مِنَ الَّذِينَ لا يَهْتَدُونَ

قال نكّروا لها عرشها ننظر أ تهتدي أم تكون من الّذين لا يهتدون

Qala nakkiroo laha AAarshaha nanthur atahtadee am takoonu mina allatheena la yahtadoona

گفت : تختش را ديگرگون کنيد ، ببينم آن را باز مي شناسد يا از آنهاست که باز نتوانند شناخت

[سليمان] گفت تختش را در ديد او ناشناخته كنيد، تا بنگريم كه به آن پى مى برد يا از كسانى است كه پى نمى برند.

سليمان گفت: تغييراتى در تخت او بدهيد تا ببينم آن را مى‏شناسد يا نخواهد شناخت.

گفت: تختش را [با تغییر دادن در زینت و آرایش] برایش ناشناس کنید تا ببینیم آیا [به شناخت آن] راه می یابد، یا از کسانی است که راه نمی یابند؟

سليمان گفت بگردانيد براى بلقيس تخت او را تا بنگريم آيا راه مى‏يابد (به تخت خود) يا باشد از آنانكه راه نمى‏يابند

گفت: «تخت [ملكه‏] را برايش ناشناس گردانيد تا ببينيم آيا پى مى‏برد يا از كسانى است كه پى نمى‏برند.»

گفت: «چنان كنيد كه تخت خودش را نشناسد تا ببينم آيا متوجه مى‏شود يا نه.»

[سليمان‏] گفت: تخت او را برايش دگرگونه كنيد تا بنگرم كه او در مى‏يابد يا از كسانى خواهد بود كه در نمى‏يابند.

گفت ناشناخت كنيد براى او تختش را به بينيم آيا راه مييابد يا باشد از آنان كه نمييابند

[سليمان‏] گفت: تختش را براى [آزمودن‏] او دگرگون سازيد تا بنگريم آيا [آن را] باز مى‏شناسد يا از آنان مى‏شود كه راه نمى‏يابند

(سلیمان) گفت: «تخت او را برایش ناشناس سازید؛ ببینم آیا متوجّه می‌شود یا از کسانی است که هدایت نخواهند شد؟!

گفت: تخت او را برايش ناشناخته سازيد تا بنگريم آيا [به بازشناختن آن‏] راه مى‏برد يا از آنهاست كه راه نمى‏برند.

گفت ناشناخت كنيد براى او تختش را ببينيم آيا راه مييابد يا باشد از آنان كه نمييابند

گفت ناشناس داريد برايش تختش را بنگريم آيا رهبرى مى شود يا مى باشد از آنان كه رهبرى نشوند

آن گاه سلیمان گفت: تخت او را (به تغییر شکل و هیأت) بر او ناشناس گردانید تا بنگریم که وی سریر خود را خواهد شناخت یا نه.

او گفت: قصر او را برايش بازسازي کنيد تا ببينم آيا هدايت خواهد شد، يا با گمراهان ادامه خواهد داد.

He said: «Change/disguise for her, her throne , we see is she to be guided or she becomes from those who do not be guided.»

He said: «Disguise her throne for her that we may see whether she will be guided (to recognise her throne), or she will be one of those not guided.»

He said, ‹Disguise her throne for her, and we shall behold whether she is guided or if she is of those that are not guided.›

[And] he continued: Alter her throne so that she may not know it as hers: let us see whether she allows herself to be guided [to the truth] or remains one of those who will not be guided.» [I.e., whether she remains satisfied with perceiving only the outward appearance of things and happenings, or endeavours to fathom their spiritual reality. Seeing that the people of Sheba were, until then, motivated by love of luxury and worldly power. Solomon intends to show the Queen her «throne», or the image of her dominion, as it could be if it were inspired by faith in God and, hence, by a consciousness of moral responsibility.]

En Salomo zeide tot zijne dienaren: Verandert haren troon, dat zij dien niet herkenne, opdat wij mogen zien, of zij op den rechten weg wordt geleid, of dat zij tot hen behoort, die niet op den rechten weg worden gevoerd.

He said: "Disguise her throne so we may see if she will be guided or if she will be of those who are not guided."

E disse: «Rendetele irriconoscibile il suo trono: vedremo se lo riconoscerà o se fa parte di coloro che non sono guidati».

He said: "Disguise her throne for her that we may see whether she will be guided (to recognise her throne), or she will be one of those not guided."

Он сказал: «Переделайте ее трон так, чтобы она не узнала его, и мы посмотрим, следует она прямым путем или же является одной из тех, кто не следует прямым путем».

[Потом Сулайман] сказал: «Переделайте для нее этот трон, и мы посмотрим, следует ли она прямым путем или же она из тех, кто не идет по прямому пути».

He said: Alter her throne for her, we will see whether she follows the right way or is of those who do not go aright.

He said: Disguise her throne for her that we may see whether she will go aright or be of those not rightly guided.

Said he, ‹Disguise for her her throne; let us see whether she is guided, or whether she is of those who are not guided.›

Emir verdi: «Onun tahtını başkalaştırın, bakalım tanıyacak mı, tanıyamayanların arasına mı girecek?»

(Then) he said: ‹Let her throne be disguised, so that we can see whether she is guided or if she is among those who are not guided. ‹

Solomon then said, «Alter her throne for her that we may see whether she gets the point and comes to guidance or she remains unguided.» (Solomon’s workmen had erased the images of the sun god, inscribed sensible inscriptions and made the throne look even more gorgeous).

He said, «Remodel her mansion for her. Let us see if she will be guided, or continue with the misguided.»

Said he, «Make her throne so that she know it not: we shall see whether she hath or not guidance.»

And Solomon said unto his servants, alter her throne, that she may not know it, to the end we may see whether she be rightly directed, or whether she be one of those who are not rightly directed.

He said, `Make the throne so beautiful as to make her own throne appear quite ordinary to her, and let us see whether she follows the right way or whether she is one of those who follow not the right way.›

Er sprach: «Laßt ihr ihren Thron gering erscheinen; wir wollen sehen, ob sie dem rechten Weg folgt oder ob sie zu denen gehört, die nicht dem rechten Wege folgen.»

Вы измените ее трон, – он продолжал, – ■ И мы посмотрим: ■ Пойдет ли праведным путем она ■ Иль станет из числа заблудших!

Сөләйман әйтте: «Тәхетнең тышкы күренешен үзгәртегез, карарбыз ул Бәлкыйс үзенең тәхетен танырмы яки танымаучылардан булырмы?»

سلیمان نے کہا کہ ملکہ کے (امتحان عقل کے) لئے اس کے تخت کی صورت بدل دو۔ دیکھیں کہ وہ سوجھ رکھتی ہے یا ان لوگوں میں ہے جو سوجھ نہیں رکھتے

(سلیمان علیہ السلام نے) فرمایا: اس(ملکہ کے امتحان) کے لئے اس کے تخت کی صورت اور ہیئت بدل دو ہم دیکھیں گے کہ آیا وہ (پہچان کی) راہ پاتی ہے یا ان میں سے ہوتی ہے جو سوجھ بوجھ نہیں رکھتے،
