فَلَمَّا جاءَتْ قِيلَ أَ هكَذا عَرْشُكِ قالَتْ كَأَنَّهُ هُوَ وَ أُوتِينَا الْعِلْمَ مِنْ قَبْلِها وَ كُنَّا مُسْلِمِينَ

فلمّا جاءت قيل أ هكذا عرشك قالت كأنّه هو و أوتينا العلم من قبلها و كنّا مسلمين

Falamma jaat qeela ahakatha AAarshuki qalat kaannahu huwa waooteena alAAilma min qabliha wakunna muslimeena

چون آمد گفتندش : آيا تخت تو چنين بود ؟ گفت : گويي همان است و ماپيش ، از اين آگاه شده بوديم و تسليم بوده ايم

و چون [بلقيس] آمد به او گفته شد آيا تخت تو اين چنين است؟ گفت گويا آن همان است، و پيش از اين، به ما علم [به حقانيت سليمان] داده شده است و ما فرمانبردار بوده ايم.

وقتى كه (ملكه سبا) آمد او را گفتند: آيا تخت تو چنين است؟ گفت: گويى همان است (نه اقرار كرد و نه انكار) ما قبل از اين (از قدرت پروردگار) آگاه بوديم و ما سر تسليم فرود آورديم.

پس زمانی که [ملکه سبا] آمد، گفتند: آیا تخت تو نیز این گونه است؟ گفت: گویا این همان است!! و ما را پیش از این [به حقّانیّت و قدرت سلیمان] آگاه کردند و [همان زمان] تسلیم شدیم؛

پس آنگه كه بلقيس آمد (نزد سليمان و تخت را نهاده ديد) گفته شد آيا چنين است تخت تو گفت كه گويا اين آنست و دادند بما دانش پيش از آوردن تخت و بوديم ما فرمانبردار

پس وقتى [ملكه‏] آمد، [بدو] گفته شد: «آيا تخت تو همين گونه است؟» گفت: «گويا اين همان است و پيش از اين، ما آگاه شده و از در اطاعت درآمده بوديم.»

هنگامى كه آمد از او سؤال شد: «آيا تخت تو همين طور است؟» پاسخ داد: «بايد همين باشد. ما پيش از اين هم مى‏دانستيم و تسليم بوده‏ايم.»

پس چون [بلقيس نزد سليمان‏] آمد او را گفتند: آيا تخت تو اينچنين بود؟ گفت: گويى اين همانست، و پيش از اين [در باب پيامبرى سليمان‏] به ما دانش دادند و از گردن نهادگان بوديم.

پس چون آمد گفته شد آيا اينچنين است تخت تو گفت گويا آنست و داده شديم علم را پيش از آن و بوديم مسلمانان

پس چون [بلقيس‏] آمد، گفته شد: آيا تخت تو اينچنين است؟ گفت: گويى همان است. و ما [به حقّانيّت سليمان‏] پيش از آن دانش يافتيم و فرمانبرداريم

هنگامی که آمد، به او گفته شد: «آیا تخت تو این گونه است؟» گفت: گویا خود آن است! و ما پیش از این هم آگاه بودیم و اسلام آورده بودیم!»

پس چون بيامد به او گفته شد: آيا تخت تو چنين است؟ گفت: گويى اين همان است. و ما را پيش از اين دانش داده‏اند- بر قدرت و حقانيت سليمان- و ما گردن‏نهاده بوده‏ايم.

پس چون آمد گفته شد آيا اينچنين است تخت تو گفت گويا آنست و داده شديم علم را پيش از آن و بوديم مسلمانان

پس گاهى كه بيامد آن زن گفته شد آيا چنين است تختت گفت گوئيا اين است آن و داده شديم دانش را پيش از آن و بوديم تسليم شدگان

هنگامی که بلقیس آمد از او پرسیدند که عرش تو چنین است؟وی گفت: گویا همین است و ما از این پیش بدین امور دانا و تسلیم (امر خدا) بودیم.

هنگامي که از راه رسيد، از او سئوال شد: آيا قصر تو شبيه به اين نيست؟ گفت: به نظر مي رسد که اين همان باشد. (سليمان گفت:) ما از پيش مي ‌دانستيم كه او چه خواهد كرد و ما قبلاً تسليم شده بوديم.

So when she came, (it) was said: «Is your throne like this?» She said: «As if it, it is.» And we were given the knowledge from before her, and we were Moslems/submitters. .

So when she came, it was said (to her): «Is your throne like this?» She said: «(It is) as though it were the very same.» And (Sulaiman (Solomon) said): «Knowledge was bestowed on us before her, and we were submitted to Allah (in Islam as Muslims before her).»

So, when she came, it was said, ‹Is thy throne like this?› She said, ‹It seems the same.› ‹And we were given the knowledge before her, and we were in surrender,

And so, as soon as she arrived, she was asked: «Is thy throne like this?» She answered: «It is as though it were the same!» [Sc., «and yet not quite the same»: thus, she expresses doubt – and doubt is the first step in all spiritual progress. She realizes that the «altered throne» is outwardly the same as that which she has left behind; but she perceives intuitively that it is imbued with a spiritual quality which the other did not possess, and which she cannot yet quite understand.] [And Solomon said to his nobles: «She has arrived at the truth without any help from us,] [Thus Tabari, Zamakhshari and lbn Kathir, on whose interpretation of this passage my rendering and the above interpolation are based.] although it is we who have been given [divine] knowledge before her, and have [long ago] surrendered ourselves unto God!

En toen zij tot Salomo was gekomen, zeide men tot haar: Is uw troon gelijk aan dezen? Zij antwoordde: Men zou zeggen dat hij dezelfde was. En ons werd vr haar de kennis geschonken, en wij waren aan God onderworpen.

So when she came, it was said: "Is your throne like this?" She said: "It appears to be similar." And we were given knowledge before her, and we had surrendered.

Quando giunse, le fu detto: «E› questo il tuo trono?». Rispose: «Sembrerebbe che lo sia». [Disse Salomone]: «Già ci fu data la scienza e già fummo sottomessi ad Allah».

So when she came, it was said (to her): "Is your throne like this?" She said: "(It is) as though it were the very same." And (Sulaiman (Solomon) said): "Knowledge was bestowed on us before her, and we were submitted to Allah (in Islam as Muslims before her)."

So when she came, it was said: Is your thron
e like this? She said: It is as it were the same, and we were given the knowledge before it, and we were submissive.

So, when she came, it was said (unto her): Is thy throne like this? She said: (It is) as though it were the very one. And (Solomon said): We were given the knowledge before her and we had surrendered (to Allah).

And when she came it was said, ‹Was thy throne like this?› She said, ‹It might be it;› and we were given knowledge before her, but we were resigned.

Melike gelince şöyle denildi: «Senin tahtın da böyle mi?» Dedi: «Bu sanki o. Zaten daha önce bize bilgi verilmişti ve biz müslüman olmuştuk.»

And when she came she was asked: ‹Is your throne like this? ‹ And she replied: ‹It looks like it. ‹ And we were given the knowledge before her, and were Muslims.

So, when she came, she was asked, «Is your throne like this?» She said, «It seems that this is it! We already knew that the Truth is on your side and my chiefs and I have surrendered to it.» (The previous knowledge about Solomon’s character and Kingdom, the distinguished letters he wrote to her and reports by her envoys, and now his superb court had convinced the intelligent and open-minded Queen).

When she arrived, she was asked, «Does your mansion look like this?» She said, «It seems that this is it.» (Solomon said,) «We knew beforehand what she was going to do, and we were already submitters.»

And when she came he said, «Is thy throne like this?» She said, «As though it were the same.» «And we,» said he, «have had knowledge given us before her, and have been Muslims.»

And when she was come unto Solomon, it was said unto her, is thy throne like this? She answered, as though it were the same. And we have had knowledge bestowed on us before this, and have been resigned unto God.

And when she came, it was said to her, `Is thy throne like this ?› She replied, `It is as though it were the same. And we had been given knowledge before this, and we have already submitted.›

Als sie kam, da ward gesprochen: «Ist dein Thron wie dieser?» Sie antwortete: «Es ist als wäre er ein und derselbe. Und uns ward schon vordem Kenntnis verliehen, und wir hatten uns bereits ergeben.»

Когда она (на место) прибыла, ее спросили: ■ «Это ли твой трон?» ■ «Как будто б он, – она сказала. – ■ Нам прежде было знание дано, ■ И стали мусульмане мы, ■ (Предавшись воле Бога)».

Бәлкыйс Сөләйман янына килгәч, аңа әйтелде: «Синең тәхетең шундый идеме? Бәлкыйс әйтте: «Бу тәхет минем тәхеткә ошаган минем тәхетем булса кирәк, ошбу хәлдән элек Аллаһуның кодрәтенә, синең пәйгамбәрлегеңә, безгә дәлил бирелеп, без Иман китереп мөселман булган идек.

جب وہ آ پہنچی تو پوچھا گیا کہ کیا آپ کا تخت بھی اسی طرح کا ہے؟ اس نے کہا کہ یہ تو گویا ہو بہو وہی ہے اور ہم کو اس سے پہلے ہی (سلیمان کی عظمت شان) کا علم ہوگیا تھا اور ہم فرمانبردار ہیں

پھر جب وہ (ملکہ) آئی تو اس سے کہا گیا: کیا تمہارا تخت اسی طرح کا ہے، وہ کہنے لگی: گویا یہ وہی ہے اور ہمیں اس سے پہلے ہی (نبوتِ سلیمان کے حق ہونے کا) علم ہو چکا تھا اور ہم مسلمان ہو چکے ہیں،
