وَ لَقَدْ آتَيْنا مُوسَى الْكِتابَ مِنْ بَعْدِ ما أَهْلَكْنَا الْقُرُونَ الأُْولى بَصائِرَ لِلنَّاسِ وَ هُدىً وَ رَحْمَةً لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

و لقد آتينا موسى الكتاب من بعد ما أهلكنا القرون الأولى بصائر للنّاس و هدى و رحمة لعلّهم يتذكّرون

Walaqad atayna moosa alkitaba min baAAdi ma ahlakna alquroona al-oola basa-ira lilnnasi wahudan warahmatan laAAallahum yatathakkaroona

پس از آنکه مردم روزگار پيشين را هلاک ساختيم ، به موسي کتاب داديم تامردم را بصيرت و هدايت و رحمت باشد شايد پند گيرند

و به راستى پس از آنكه نسلهاى نخستين را نابود كرديم به موسى كتاب [آسمانى] داديم كه روشنگريهايى براى مردم و رهنمود و رحمت بود باشد كه پند گيرند.

و پس از آنكه طوايفى از امم گذشته را بكيفر كفرشان هلاك كرديم براى آگاهى بيشتر و هدايت و رحمت بر خلق به موسى كتاب تورات را عطا كرديم تا مردم متذكر و يادآور شوند.

و پس از آنکه اقوام پیشین را [چون قوم نوح و هود و صالح و لوط] هلاک کردیم، به موسی کتاب دادیم که برای مردم وسیله بینایی و هدایت و رحمتی بود، تا متذکّر و هوشیار شوند.

و بعزتم سوگند كه داديم به موسى كتاب تورات را از پس آنكه نابود ساختيم مردم قرن‏هاى نخستين را (چون قوم نوح و هود و صالح و لوط) را در حاليكه آن حجت‏ها بود براى مردم (كه به آن معارف حقه را ببيند) و راهنمائى و رحمتى بود تا آنكه ايشان پند گيرند

و به راستى، پس از آنكه نسلهاى نخستين را هلاك كرديم، به موسى كتاب داديم كه [دربردارنده‏] روشنگرى‏ها و رهنمود و رحمتى براى مردم بود، اميد كه آنان پند گيرند.

پس از به هلاكت رساندن امتهاى پيشين به موسى كتاب داديم كه مايه بصيرت مردم و هدايت و رحمت باشد، شايد متذكر شوند.

و به تحقيق به موسى كتاب داديم از پس آنكه گروه‏هاى پيشين را هلاك كرديم [در آن‏] بصيرت‏هاست براى مردم و هدايت و رحمتى است باشد كه آنان پند گيرند.

و بحقيقت داديم موسى را كتاب از بعد آنكه نابود كرديم قرنهاى پيشين را كه وسيله بينشند براى مردم و هدايت و رحمت است باشد كه ايشان پند گيرند

و به راستى به موسى پس از آنكه نسلهاى نخستين را هلاك ساختيم كتاب آسمانى- به عنوان دلايلى براى مردم و هدايت و رحمت- داديم. باشد كه پند پذيرند

و ما به موسی کتاب آسمانی دادیم بعد از آنکه اقوام قرون نخستین را هلاک نمودیم؛ کتابی که برای مردم بصیرت‌آفرین بود، و مایه هدایت و رحمت؛ شاید متذکر شوند!

و هر آينه موسى را، پس از آنكه نسلهاى پيشين را نابود كرديم، كتاب داديم تا براى مردم بينش‏ها و رهنمونى و بخشايشى باشد شايد ياد كنند و پند گيرند.

و بحقيقت داديم موسى را كتاب از بعد آنكه نابود كرديم قرنهاى پيشين را كه وسيله بينشند براى مردم و هدايت و رحمت است باشد كه ايشان پند گيرند

و هرآينه داديم به موسى كتاب را پس از آنكه نابود ساختيم قرنهاى پيشين را بينشهائى براى مردم و راهنمائى و رحمتى شايد ايشان يادآور شوند

و همانا ما پس از آنکه (طوایفی از) امم گذشته را (به کیفر کفر) هلاک کردیم به موسی برای بصیرت و هدایت و رحمت خلق کتاب (تورات) را عطا کردیم، باشد که مردم متذکر شوند (و راه خدا پرستی پیش گیرند).

ما به موسي كتاب آسماني داديم- پس از آنكه نسل‌هاي گذشته را نابود كرديم و پس از آنكه آنها را درس عبرتي قرار داديم- تا براي مردم نوري روشنگر و هدايت و رحمت فراهم كنيم، باشد كه توجه كنند.

And We had given/brought to Moses The Book from after what We destroyed the generations the first/beginning, evidences/clear sightedness/instincts for the people and guidance and mercy, maybe/perhaps they mention/remember .

And indeed We gave Moosa (Moses), after We had destroyed the generations of old, the Scripture (the Taurat (Torah)) as an enlightenment for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy, that they might remember (or receive admonition).

And We gave Moses the Book, after that We had destroyed the former generations, to be examples and a guidance and a mercy, that haply so they might remember.

And [then,] indeed, after We had destroyed those earlier generations [of sinners], We vouchsafed unto Moses [Our] revelation as a means of insight for men, [By virtue of its being the first instance of a divinely-inspired Law, the Torah inaugurated a new phase in mankind’s religious history (cf. the reference to the children of Israel as «forerunners in faith» in verse 5 of this surah).] and as a guidance and grace, so that they might bethink themselves [of Us].

En wij gaven aan Mozes het boek der wet, nadat wij de vroegere geslachten hadden verdelgd, om de harten der menschen te waarschuwen, en tot eene leiding en tot eene genade, opdat zij wellicht zouden nadenken.

We had given Moses the Scripture after We had destroyed the earlier generations, as an example for mankind and a guidance and mercy, perhaps they will take heed.

Dopo aver distrutto le generazioni precedenti, invero abbiamo dato il Libro a Mosè, richiamo alla corretta visione per gli uomini, guida e misericordia. Se ne ricorderanno?

And indeed We gave Moosa (Moses), after We had destroyed the generations of old, the Scripture (the Taurat (Torah)) as an enlightenment for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy, that they might remember (or receive admonition).

Погубив первые поколения, Мы даровали Мусе (Моисею) Писание в качестве наглядного наставления для людей, верного руководства и милости, чтобы они могли помянуть назидание.

После того как Мы подвергли гибели первые поколения [грешников], Мы даровали Мусе писание как наглядное знамение для людей, руководство к прямому пути и милости, в надежде, что они запомнят [его] как назидание.

And certainly We gave Musa the Book after We had destroyed the former generations, clear arguments for men and a guidance and a mercy, that they may be mindful.

And We verily gave the Scripture unto Moses after We had destroyed the generations of old: clear testimonies for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy, that haply they might reflect.

And we gave Moses the Book, after that we had destroyed the former generations, as an insight to men and a guidance and a mercy; haply they may be mindful!

Yemin olsun biz, ilk nesilleri helak ettikten sonra Mûsa’ya Kitap’ı; insanlar için basîretler, kılavuz ve rahmet olarak verdik ki, düşünüp öğüt alabilsinler.

And We gave Moses the Book, after We had destroyed the former generations, to be reflections for people and a guidance, and a mercy in order that they might remember.

And, indeed, We had given the Scripture to Moses, after We had annihilated several earlier communities, – to give Insight to people, and Guidance and Mercy, that they take heed.

We gave Moses the scripture – after having annihilated the previous generations, and after setting the examples through them – to provide enlightenment for the people, and guidance, and mercy, that they may take heed.

And after we had destroyed the former generations, we gave the book of the Law to Moses for man’s enlightening, and a guidance and a mercy, that haply they might reflect.

And We gave the book of the law unto Moses, after We had destroyed the former generations, to enlighten the minds of men, and for a direction, and a mercy; that peradventure they might consider.

And WE gave Moses the Book, after WE had destroyed the earlier generations, as a source of enlightenment for men, and a guidance and a mercy, that they might reflect.

Und Wir gaben Moses die Schrift, nachdem Wir die früheren Geschlechter vernichtet hatten, als ein Mittel zur Erleuchtung für die Menschen und als Führung und Barmherzigkeit, auf daß sie ermahnt wären.

Мы даровали Мусе Книгу ■ После того, как истребили поколенья древних, ■ Чтобы ее знаменья стали для людей ■ Наглядными примерами (от Нас) ■ И как водительство (по жизненной стезе) ■ И милосердие (от Нас), ■ Чтобы они могли (над этим) поразмыслить.

Әүвәлге азгыннарны һәлак иткәннән соң Мусага китап бирдек, ул китап кешеләрнең күңелләренә иман яктылыгы һәм туры юл, Һәм мөэминнәргә рәхмәт булганы хәлдә бирелде, шаять кешеләр вәгазьләнерләр.

اور ہم نے پہلی اُمتوں کے ہلاک کرنے کے بعد موسٰی کو کتاب دی جو لوگوں کے لئے بصیرت اور ہدایت اور رحمت ہے تاکہ وہ نصیحت پکڑیں

اور بیشک ہم نے اس (صورتِ حال) کے بعد کہ ہم پہلی (نافرمان) قوموں کو ہلاک کر چکے تھے موسٰی (علیہ السلام) کو کتاب عطا کی جو لوگوں کے لئے (خزانۂ) بصیرت اور ہدایت و رحمت تھی، تاکہ وہ نصیحت قبول کریں،
