وَ لَوْ دُخِلَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ أَقْطارِها ثُمَّ سُئِلُوا الْفِتْنَةَ لآَتَوْها وَ ما تَلَبَّثُوا بِها إِلاَّ يَسِيراً

و لو دخلت عليهم من أقطارها ثمّ سئلوا الفتنة لآتوها و ما تلبّثوا بها إلاّ يسيرا

Walaw dukhilat AAalayhim min aqtariha thumma su-iloo alfitnata laatawha wama talabbathoo biha illa yaseeran

و اگر از اطراف ، خانه هايشان را محاصره کنند و از آنها بخواهند که مرتد شوند ، مرتد خواهند شد و جز اندکي درنگ روا نخواهند داشت

و چون از حوالى آن [شهر] بر ايشان وارد شوند، سپس از ايشان اقرار به شرك طلب كنند، آن را انجام دهند و [سپس] در آنجا جز اندكى درنگ نمى كردند.

و اگر كافران از اطراف پيش منافقان بيايند و آنها را بشورش و كفر دعوت كنند، منافقان با كمى مكث و تأمل خواستهاى آنان را مى‏پذيرند.

و اگر از پیرامون خانه هایشان بر آنان حمله می شد و از آنان بازگشت [به شرک و جنگ با مؤمنان] درخواست می شد، آن را می پذیرفتند و برای آن جز مدت کوتاهی [به اندازه تجهیز خود بر ضد مؤمنان] درنگ نمی کردند!!

اگر لشگر كفار درآيند بر منافقان از اطراف مدينه پس بخواهند از ايشان فتنه (شرك) را البته بدهند خواسته آنها را و درنگ نكنند باجابت فتنه مگر اندكى (بلكه زود مشرك شوند)

و اگر از اطراف [مدينه‏] مورد هجوم واقع مى‏شدند و آنگاه آنان را به ارتداد مى‏خواندند، قطعاً آن را مى‏پذيرفتند و جز اندكى در اين [كار] درنگ نمى‏كردند؛

و اگر از اطراف شهر آنان را محاصره و پيشنهاد بازگشت به كفر و شرك مى‏كردند بى‏درنگ مى‏پذيرفتند.

و اگر [كافران‏] از هر سو بر آنها درآيند، و از آنها فتنه كردن خواهند، البته در آن حاضر شوند و درنگ نكنند مگر اندكى.

و اگر در آمده شده بود برايشان از اطراف مدينه پس خواسته شده بودند فتنه هر آينه آورده بودندش و درنگ نميكردند بآن مگر اندكى

و اگر از اطراف آن [خانه‏هايشان لشكريان كفّار] بر سر آنان در آورده شوند، سپس [از آنان‏] فتنه [ارتداد] طلب كنند، به يقين آن را انجام مى‏دادند و در آن مگر اندكى درنگ نمى‏كردند

آنها چنان بودند که اگر دشمنان از اطراف مدینه بر آنان وارد می‌شدند و پیشنهاد بازگشت به سوی شرک به آنان می‌کردند می‌پذیرفتند، و جز مدّت کمی (برای انتخاب این راه) درنگ نمی‌کردند!

و اگر [سپاه كفار] از اطراف آن- شهر يا خانه‏ها- بر آنان در آيند و سپس از آنها فتنه و آشوب- بازگشت به شرك يا جنگ با مسلمانان- خواسته شود، هر آينه به سوى آن روند و بر [اجابت‏] آن (فتنه) جز اندكى درنگ نخواهند كرد- بزودى به شرك و كفر در آيند-.

و اگر در آمده شده بود بر ايشان از اطراف مدينه پس خواسته شده بودند فتنه هر آينه آورده بودندش و درنگ نمى‏كردند بان مگر اندكى

و اگر ورود شود بر ايشان در آنها از هر سوى سپس درخواست شوند فتنه (جنگ) را هر آينه آرندش و درنگ نكنند بدان مگر اندكى

و اگر دشمنان دین از اطراف به شهر و خانه‌شان (از پی غارت) هجوم آرند سپس از آنها تقاضای بازگشت به کفر و شرک کنند آنان اجابت خواهند کرد در صورتی که اندک زمانی بیش در مدینه (با آن شرک) زیست نخواهند کرد (و سپس همه هلاک می‌شوند).

اگر دشمن حمله مي كرد و از آنها مي خواست كه به آنها ملحق شوند، بي درنگ به دشمن ملحق مي شدند.

And if (it) is entered on them from its sides/directions then they were asked (for) the treason , they would have given it (E) and they would not have delayed/remained with it (the treason) except little .

And if the enemy had entered from all sides (of the city), and they had been exhorted to AlFitnah (i.e. to renegade from Islam to polytheism) they would surely have committed it and would have hesitated thereupon but little.

And if entrance had been forced against them from those quarters, and then they had been asked to apostatise, they would have done so, and but tarried about it briefly.

Now if their town had been stormed, [Lit., «if entry to them had been forced».] and they had been asked [by the enemy] to commit apostasy, [the hypocrites] would have done so without much delay [Lit., «and would not have tarried more than a little [while]».] —

Indien op dat oogenblik de vijand van de aangrenzende gedeelten de stad waren binnengetrokken; en men had hun gevraagd, de ware geloovigen te verlaten en tegen hen te strijden, zouden zij zekerlijk daarin hebben toegestemd; maar in dat geval waren zij er niet in gebleven dan voor een korte poos.

And if the enemy had entered at them from all sides, and then they were asked to betray, they would do so with very little hesitation.

Se fosse stata fatta un’incursione dai limiti esterni [della città] e se fosse stato chiesto loro di abiurare, lo avrebbero fatto senza indugio,

And if the enemy had entered from all sides (of the city), and they had been exhorted to AlFitnah (i.e. to renegade from Islam to polytheism) they would surely have committed it and would have hesitated thereupon but little.

Если бы они (союзники) вторглись в него со всех сторон и потребовали бы от них искушения (отказаться от веры), то они пошли бы на это и не стали бы медлить с этим, разве что немного.

А если бы [враги] вторглись [в их город] с разных сторон и подвергли бы их испытанию, то они не выдержали бы, недолго сопротивляясь.

And if an entry were made upon them from the outlying parts of it, then they were asked to wage war, they would certainly have done it, and they would not have stayed in it but a little while.

If the enemy had entered from all sides and they had been exhorted to treachery, they would have committed it, and would have hesitated thereupon but little.

But had they been entered upon from its environs and then been asked to show treason they would have done so; but they would only have tarried there a little while.

Eğer Medine’nin her yanından üzerlerine gelinseydi de onların kent içinde fitne çıkarmaları istenseydi, onu mutlaka yaparlardı; o konuda fazla gecikmezlerdi.

And if an entrance had been forced against them from its quarters, and then they had been asked to incite, they would have done so, and remained in it (the city) but a little (time).

Now if the enemy had invaded the town from all sides and these hypocrites were asked to inflict harm on the believers, they would have done so without delay.

Had the enemy invaded and asked them to join, they would have joined the enemy without hesitation.

If the enemy had effected an entry at all points, and they (the disaffected) had been asked to promote confusion, they would have done so; but only a short time would they have remained in it. – (Medina).

If the city had been entered upon them by the enemy from the parts adjacent, and they had been asked to desert the true believers, and to fight against them; they had surely consented thereto: But they had not, in such case, remained in the same, but a little while.

If the enemy were to enter the Town from its environs, and then they were asked to join in the disturbance against the Muslims, they would certainly have done so, and would not have tarried in their houses save a little.

Und wenn der Zutritt (zu der Stadt Medina) erzwungen würde wider sie von allen Seiten her und würden sie dann aufgefordert, abzufallen, sie würden es sogleich tun; dann würden sie darin (in der Stadt) nicht lange weilen können.

И если б с разных направлений ■ Вошел к ним в город (неприятель) ■ И стал бы их на смуту подстрекать, ■ (Призвав сражаться против верных и пророка), ■ Они бы поддались (призыву), ■ Но там бы оставались только на недолгий срок.

Мөшрикләр Мәдинәнең төрле тарафыннан кереп монафикъларны очратып, алардан безнең яклы булып мөселманнарга каршы сугышасызмы дип сорасалар, монафикълар уйлап та тормыйча -мөселманнарга каршы сугышабыз дип җавап бирәләр.

اور اگر (فوجیں) اطراف مدینہ سے ان پر آ داخل ہوں پھر اُن سے خانہ جنگی کے لئے کہا جائے تو (فوراً) کرنے لگیں اور اس کے لئے بہت ہی کم توقف کریں

اور اگر ان پر مدینہ کے اَطراف و اَکناف سے فوجیں داخل کر دی جاتیں پھر اِن (نِفاق کا عقیدہ رکھنے والوں) سے فتنۂ (کفر و شرک) کا سوال کیا جاتا تو وہ اس (مطالبہ) کو بھی پورا کر دیتے، اور تھوڑے سے توقّف کے سوا اس میں تاخیر نہ کرتے،
