يَحْسَبُونَ الأَْحْزابَ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا وَ إِنْ يَأْتِ الأَْحْزابُ يَوَدُّوا لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ بادُونَ فِي الأَْعْرابِ يَسْئَلُونَ عَنْ أَنْبائِكُمْ وَ لَوْ كانُوا فِيكُمْ ما قاتَلُوا إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً

يحسبون الأحزاب لم يذهبوا و إن يأت الأحزاب يودّوا لو أنّهم بادون في الأعراب يسئلون عن أنبائكم و لو كانوا فيكم ما قاتلوا إلاّ قليلا

Yahsaboona al-ahzaba lam yathhaboo wa-in ya/ti al-ahzabu yawaddoo law annahum badoona fee al-aAArabi yas-aloona AAan anba-ikum walaw kanoo feekum ma qataloo illa qaleelan

مي پندارند که سپاه احزاب نرفته است و اگر آن لشکرها باز مي آمدند، ،آرزو مي کردند که کاش در ميان اعراب باديه نشين مي بودند و همواره ازاخبار شما مي پرسيدند اگر هم در ميان شما مي بودند ، جز اندکي قتال نمي کردند

اينان گمان مى برند كه هنوز «گروه مشركان همدست» [از صحنه به در] نرفته اند و اگر گروه مشركان همدست برگردند، خوش دارند كه بيابانى و در ميان باديه نشينان باشند و از اخبار شما پرسوجو كنند; و اگر در ميان شما بودند، جز اندكى كارزار نمى كردند.

منافقان چنان مى‏پندارند كه احزاب (سپاه كافران) هنوز از اطراف مدينه دور نشده‏اند. هر گاه احزاب بار ديگر بمدينه حمله كنند، منافقان مايلند كه در ميان اعراب صحرا نشين (و از جنگ و جدال بدور) باشند و از وقايع شما جويا شوند و اگر در ميان شما هم باشند جز اندكى پيكار نخواهند كرد.

[این بزدلان منافق] می پندارند که گروه های دشمن نرفته اند و اگر بار دیگر گروه های دشمن بیایند، آنان دوست دارند که کاش در میان اعراب بادیه نشین بودند، و [همانجا] از خبرهای شما می پرسیدند، و اگر در میان شما بودند جز اندکی جنگ نمی کردند.

منافقان مى‏پندارند احزاب را كه (براى جنگ با پيغمبر آمده بودند) نرفته‏اند و اگر (نوبتى ديگر) بيايند احزاب منافقان دوست دارند آنكه صحرانشين باشند در ميان اعراب در حاليكه مى‏پرسند از اخبار (پيروزى و هزيمت) شما و اگر منافقان باشند در ميان شما پيكار نكنند مگر اندكى (آن هم از روى خودنمائى)

اينان [چنين‏] مى‏پندارند كه دسته‏هاى دشمن نرفته‏اند، و اگر دسته‏هاى دشمن بازآيند آرزو مى‏كنند: كاش ميان اعراب باديه‏نشين بودند و از اخبار [مربوط به‏] شما جويا مى‏شدند، و اگر در ميان شما بودند، جز اندكى جنگ نمى‏كردند.

آنها گمان مى‏كردند كه احزاب نرفته‏اند و اگر بازگشتى در كار باشد دوست دارند به ميان اعراب بازگردند و از اخبار شما جويا شوند و اگر در ميان شما باشند جز عده كمى به جنگ نپردازند.

[منافقان‏] مى‏پندارند كه [لشكريان‏] احزاب پراكنده نشده‏اند، و اگر آنها باز مى‏گرديدند [همان منافقان‏] آرزو مى‏كردند كاش در ميان اعراب صحرا نشين بودند و از خبرهاى شما مى‏پرسيدند و اگر ميان شما هم مى‏ماندند جز اندكى كارزار نمى‏كردند.

ميپندارند آن گروه‏هاى دشمن را كه نرفته‏اند و اگر آيند آنگروه‏هاى دشمن دوست ميدارند كاش آنها باديه نشينان در عربان صحرا نشين باشند كه بپرسند از خبرهاى شما و اگر بودند در شما كارزار نميكردند مگر اندكى

[درباره‏] لشكرهاى [كافران‏] مى‏پندارند كه نرفته‏اند و اگر [آن‏] لشكرها بيايند، آرزو كنند، اى كاش آنان در ميان اعراب، باديه‏نشين بودند كه از خبرهاى شما پرسش مى‏كردند. و اگر در ميان شما باشند جز اندكى پيكار نكنند

آنها گمان می‌کنند هنوز لشکر احزاب نرفته‌اند؛ و اگر برگردند (از ترس آنان) دوست می‌دارند در میان اعراب بادیه‌نشین پراکنده (و پنهان) شوند و از اخبار شما جویا گردند؛ و اگر در میان شما باشند جز اندکی پیکار نمی‌کنند!

مى‏پندارند كه [هنوز] لشكرهاى احزاب نرفته‏اند و اگر آن لشكرها بازآيند، دوست دارند كه در ميان اعراب باديه‏نشين مى‏رفتند و از خبرهاى شما مى‏پرسيدند و اگر هم در ميان شما باشند جز اندكى كارزار نكنند- پس سودى در ماندن آنها نيست-.

ميپندارند آن گروه‏هاى دشمن را كه نرفته‏اند و اگر آيند آنگروه‏هاى دشمن دوست ميدارند كاش آنها باديه نشينان در عربان صحرانشين باشند كه بپرسند از خبرهاى شما و اگر بودند در شما كارزار نميكردند مگر اندكى

پندارند احزاب را نرفتند و اگر بيايند احزاب دوست دارند كاش برون بودند در مردم دشت نشين و از دور اخبار شما را مى پرسيدند و اگر مى بودند در شما پيكار نمى كردند جز اندكى

و آن منافقان گمان کنند که لشکرهای کافران هنوز از دور مدینه نرفته و شکست نخورده‌اند و اگر آن دشمنان بار دیگر بر علیه السلام لشکر کشند باز منافقان آرزوشان این است که در میان اعراب بادیه (از جنگ آسوده و برکنار) باشند و از اخبار جنگی شما جویا شوند، و اگر هم در میان (سپاه) شما در آیند جز اندکی (آن هم به ریا و نفاق) به جنگ نپردازند.

آنها فكر كردند كه ممكن است گروه ها بازگردند. در اين صورت، آنها آرزو مي كردند كه اي كاش در صحرا گم شده بودند و از دور اخبار شما را مي گرفتند. و زماني كه با شما بودند، اگر گروه ها به شما حمله مي كردند، آنها به ندرت از شما حمايت مي كردند.

They suppose (that) the groups/parties did not go and if the groups/parties come, they wish/love if that they truly are desert dwellers in the Arabs, they ask/question about your information/news, and if they were in (between) you, they would not have fought/killed except a little/few.

They think that AlAhzab (the Confederates) have not yet withdrawn, and if AlAhzab (the Confederates) should come (again), they would wish they were in the deserts (wandering) among the bedouins, seeking news about you (from a far place); and if they (happen) to be among you, they would not fight but little.

They think the Confederates have not departed; and if the Confederates come, they will wish that they were desert-dwellers among the Bedouins asking for news of you. If they were among you, they would fight but little.

They think that the Confederates have not [really] withdrawn; [Sc., «but would come back in force and resume the siege».] and should the Confederates return, these [hypocrites] would prefer to be in the desert, among the bedouin, asking for news about you, [O believers, from far away;] and even were they to find themselves in your midst, they would but make a pretence at fighting [by your side]. [Lit., «they would not fight except a little».]

Zij verbeeldden zich, dat de verbondenen niet zouden aftrekken en het beleg opheffen; en indien de verbondenen ten tweedenmale opkwamen, zouden zij wenschen in de woestijn te wezen, onder de Arabieren die in tenten wonen en daar slechts naar nieuws van u te vernemen; want hoewel zij dien tijd met u waren, vochten zij niet dan flauw.

They thought that the opponents had not yet mobilized. And if the opponents do appear, they wish that they were out in the desert, seeking out news for you. Even if they were among you, they would not have fought except very little.

Pensavano che i coalizzati non se ne sarebbero andati. Se i coalizzati ritornassero, se ne andrebbero nel deserto a vagare tra i Beduini e chiederebbero vostre notizie. Se fossero rimasti con voi avrebbero combattuto ben poco.

They think that AlAhzab (the Confederates) have not yet withdrawn, and if AlAhzab (the Confederates) should come (again), they would wish they were in the deserts (wandering) among the bedouins, seeking news about you (from a far place); and if they (happen) to be among you, they would not fight but little.

They think the allies are not gone, and if the allies should come (again) they would fain be in the deserts with the desert Arabs asking for news about you, and if they were among you they would not fight save a little.

They hold that the clans have not retired (for good); and if the clans should advance (again), they would fain be in the desert with the wandering Arabs, asking for the news of you; and if they were among you, they would not give battle, save a little.

They reckoned that the confederates would never go away; and if the confederates should come they would fain be in the desert with the Arabs, asking for news of you! and if they were amongst you they would fight but little.

Düşman hiziplerin gitmediğini sanıyorlar. Düşman hizipler gelecek olsalar, bunlar isterler ki, Bedevî Araplar içinde bulunsunlar da sizinle ilgili haberleri sorsunlar. Şayet içinizde bulunsalardı, pek azı müstesna, savaşmayacaklardı.

They think that the enemy clans have not withdrawn. And if the confederate clans come back, these (hypocrites) would prefer to be in the desert with the Bedouins, asking for news about you, from far away. And if they were among you, they would only pretend to fight.

They thought that the parties might come back. In that case, they would wish that they were lost in the desert, asking about your news from afar. Had the parties attacked you while they were with you, they would rarely support you.

They thought that the CONFEDERATES would never retire; and were the confederates to come again, they would fain be dwelling among the Arabs of the desert, and there ask news about you! for though they were with you, they fought not except a little.

They imagined that the confederates would not depart and raise the siege: And if the confederates should come another time, they would wish to live in the deserts among the Arabs who dwell in tents, and there to inquire after news concerning you; and although they were with you this time, yet they fought not, except a little.

They still hope that the Confederates may not have gone away; and if the Confederates should come again, they would wish to be among the nomad Arabs in the desert, asking for news about you, they would fight but little.

Sie hoffen, daß die Verbündeten noch nicht abgezogen seien; und wenn die Verbündeten (wieder) kommen sollten, so würden sie lieber bei den nomadischen Arabern in der Wüste sein und dort um Nachrichten über euch fragen. Und wenn sie bei euch wären, so würden sie nur wenig kämpfen.

Они считают, ■ Что союзники ушли лишь ненадолго, ■ И если они вновь придут, ■ Им бы хотелось оказаться ■ Средь бедуинов, кочующих (в песках), ■ И только там, (в укрытии надежном), ■ Расспрашивать известия о вас; ■ А оставаясь среди вас, ■ Они бы рвения в бою не проявили.

Монафийкълар куркуларыннан кәферләр гаскәре җиңелмәгән вә китмәгәннәр дип уйладылар. Әгәр кәферләр гаскәре икенче мәртәбә килсә, монафикълар сугыш вакытында сезнең арагызда булмыйча сахрә гарәбләре арасында булуны телиләр һәм үткән-барган кешеләрдән мөселманнар җиңелмиме әле дип сезнең хәлегездән сорашып торуны телиләр. Әгәр алар сугыш вакытында сезнең арагызда булсалар, кәферләргә каршы сугышмаслар иде, мәгәр рыя белән генә аз гына сугышыр иделәр.

یہ لوگ (ابھی تک یہ) گمان کرتے ہیں کہ کافروں کے لشکر (واپس) نہیں گئے اور اگر وہ لشکر (دوبارہ) آجائیں تو یہ چاہیں گے کہ کاش وہ دیہاتیوں میں جا کر بادیہ نشین ہو جائیں (اور) تمہاری خبریں دریافت کرتے رہیں، اور اگر وہ تمہارے اندر موجود ہوں تو بھی بہت ہی کم لوگوں کے سوا وہ جنگ نہیں کریں گے،
