إِنَّا عَرَضْنَا الأَْمانَةَ عَلَى السَّماواتِ وَ الأَْرْضِ وَ الْجِبالِ فَأَبَيْنَ أَنْ يَحْمِلْنَها وَ أَشْفَقْنَ مِنْها وَ حَمَلَهَا الإِْنْسانُ إِنَّهُ كانَ ظَلُوماً جَهُولاً

إنّا عرضنا الأمانة على السّماوات و الأرض و الجبال فأبين أن يحملنها و أشفقن منها و حملها الإنسان إنّه كان ظلوما جهولا

Inna AAaradna al-amanata AAala alssamawati waal-ardi waaljibali faabayna an yahmilnaha waashfaqna minha wahamalaha al-insanu innahu kana thalooman jahoolan

ما اين امانت را بر آسمانها و زمين و کوهها عرضه داشتيم ، از تحمل آن سرباز زدند و از آن ترسيدند انسان آن امانت بر دوش گرفت ، که او ستمکار و نادان بود

ما امانت [خويش] را بر آسمانها و زمين و كوهها عرضه داشتيم، ولى از پذيرفتن آن سر باز زدند، و از آن هراسيدند، و انسان آن را پذيرفت، كه او [در حق خويش] ستمكار نادانى بود.

ما به آسمانها و زمين و كوه‏ها عرضه امانت كرديم. همه از تحمل آن بازماندند و سخت بيمناك شدند، ولى انسان آن را برداشت. براستى كه انسان بسيار ستمكار و نادان بود.

یقیناً ما امانت را [که تکالیف شرعیه سعادت بخش است] بر آسمان ها و زمین و کوه ها عرضه کردیم و آنها از به عهده گرفتنش [به سبب اینکه استعدادش را نداشتند] امتناع ورزیدند و از آن ترسیدند، و انسان آن را پذیرفت بی تردید او [به علت ادا نکردن امانت] بسیار ستمکار، و [نسبت به سرانجام خیانت در امانت] بسیار نادان است.

البته ما عرضه كرديم امانت (كمال صفت بندگى) را بر آسمانها و زمين و كوه‏ها (بر حسب استعداد آنها) پس آنها سرباز زدند از آنكه بردارند امانت را و ترسيدند از برداشتن آن (بار تكليف) و برداشت آنرا آدمى براستى آدمى بس ستمكار و نادان است

ما امانت [الهى و بار تكليف‏] را بر آسمانها و زمين و كوهها عرضه كرديم، پس، از برداشتن آن سر باز زدند و از آن هراسناك شدند، و[لى‏] انسان آن را برداشت؛ راستى او ستمگرى نادان بود.

اين امانت را بر آسمانها و زمين و كوه‏ها عرضه داشتيم، از تحمل آن سرباز زدند و ترسيدند، اما انسان آن را بر عهده گرفت، به راستى كه او ستمكار و نادان بود.

ما «امانت» [عشق يا تكليف‏] را بر آسمانها و زمين و كوه‏ها عرضه كرديم و آنها از كشيدن آن سرباز زدند و از آن بترسيدند و انسان [بار] آن را بدوش گرفت، بيگمان او ستمكار نادان است.

بدرستيكه ما عرضه كرديم امانت را بر آسمانها و زمين و كوه‏ها پس اباء نمودند كه بردارند آنرا و ترسيدند از آن و برداشت آنرا انسان بدرستيكه او باشد ستمكار نادان

ما امانت [خويش‏] را بر آسمانها و زمين و كوه‏ها عرضه داشتيم كه نپذيرفتند آن را بردارند،. و از آن ترسيدند. و انسان آن را برداشت. بى گمان او ستمگر نادان است

ما امانت (تعهّد، تکلیف، و ولایت الهیّه) را بر آسمانها و زمین و کوه‌ها عرضه داشتیم، آنها از حمل آن سر برتافتند، و از آن هراسیدند؛ امّا انسان آن را بر دوش کشید؛ او بسیار ظالم و جاهل بود، (چون قدر این مقام عظیم را نشناخت و به خود ستم کرد)!

همانا ما امانت را بر آسمانها و زمين و كوه‏ها عرضه كرديم، ولى از برداشتن- پذيرفتن- آن سر باز زدند و از آن ترسيدند و آدمى آن را برداشت- پذيرفت-، براستى كه او ستمگر و نادان است،

بدرستى كه ما عرضه كرديم امانت را بر آسمانها و زمين و كوه‏ها پس اباء نمودند كه بردارند آنرا و ترسيدند از آن و برداشت آنرا انسان بدرستى كه او باشد ستمكار نادان

همانا عرض كرديم سپرده را بر آسمانها و زمين و كوه ها پس نيارستند برداشتنش را و بيمناك شدند از آن و برداشتش انسان همانا او بوده است ستمگرى نادان

ما بر آسمانها و زمین و کوههای عالم (و قوای عالی و دانی ممکنات) عرض امانت کردیم (و به آنها نور معرفت و طاعت و عشق و محبّت کامل حق یا بار تکلیف یا نماز و طهارت یا مقام خلافت و ولایت و امامت را ارائه دادیم) همه از تحمّل آن امتناع ورزیده و اندیشه کردند و انسان (ناتوان) آن را بپذیرفت، انسان هم (در مقام آزمایش و اداء امانت) بسیار ستمکار و نادان بود (که اکثر به راه جهل و عصیان شتافت).

ما بار مسئوليت (آزادي انتخاب) را به آسمان ها و زمين و كوه ها عرضه كرده ايم، اما آنها بار اين مسئوليت را نپذيرفتند و از آن ترسيدند. ولي انسان آن را پذيرفت؛ او ستمكار بود، نادان.

We displayed/presented the trust (choice between good and evil) on the skies/space and the earth/Planet Earth, and the mountains , so they refused/hated that (E) they bear/endure it , and they were cautious/afraid from it, and the human/mankind bore/endured it , that he truly was/is often unjust and oppressive, lowly/ignorant .

Truly, We did offer AlAmanah (the trust or moral responsibility or honesty and all the duties which Allah has ordained) to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they declined to bear it and were afraid of it (i.e. afraid of Allahs Torment). But man bore it. Verily, he was unjust (to himself) and ignorant (of its results).

We offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to carry it and were afraid of it; and man carried it. Surely he is sinful, very foolish.

Verily, We did offer the trust [of reason and volition] to the heavens, and the earth, and the mountains: [The classical commentators give all kinds of laborious explanations to the term amanah («trust») occurring in this parable, but the most convincing of them (mentioned in Lane I, 102, with reference to the above verse) are «reason», or «intellect», and «the faculty of volition» – i.e., the ability to choose between two or more possible courses of action or modes of behaviour, and thus between good and evil.] but they refused to bear it because they were afraid of it. Yet man took it up – [Sc., «and then failed to measure up to the moral responsibility arising from the reason and the comparative free will with which he has been endowed» (Zamakhshari. This obviously applies to the human race as such and not necessarily to all of its individuals.] for, verily, he has always been prone to be most wicked, most foolish.

Wij stelden het geloof aan de hemelen, de aarde en de bergen voor, en zij weigerden zich er mede te belasten, en waren er bevreesd voor. De mensch belastte er zich mede; doch niettemin handelde hij onrechtvaardig omtrent zich zelven en dwaas.

We have offered the trust to the heavens and the Earth, and the mountains, but they refused to bear it, and were fearful of it. But the human being accepted it; he was transgressing, ignorant.

In verità proponemmo ai cieli, alla terra e alle montagne la responsabilità

Truly, We did offer AlAmanah (the trust or moral responsibility or honesty and all the duties which Allah has ordained) to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they declined to bear it and were afraid of it (i.e. afraid of Allahs Torment). But man bore it. Verily, he was unjust (to himself) and ignorant (of its results).

Мы предложили небесам, земле и горам взять на себя ответственность, но они отказались нести ее и испугались этого, а человек взялся нести ее. Воистину, он является несправедливым и невежественным.

Воистину, Мы возложили ответственность на небеса, землю и горы, но они отказались нести ее, устрашившись, и Мы возложили ее на человека, и он, будучи несправедливым и невежественным, понес ее,

Surely We offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to be unfaithful to it and feared from it, and man has turned unfaithful to it; surely he is unjust, ignorant;

Lo! We offered the trust unto the heavens and the earth and the hills, but they shrank from bearing it and were afraid of it. And man assumed it. Lo! he hath proved a tyrant and a fool.

Verily, we offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to bear it, and shrank from it; but man bore it: verily, he is ever unjust and ignorant.

Biz emâneti göklere, yere, dağlara teklif ettik de onlar onu yüklenmekten kaçındılar, ondan ürktüler. İnsan ise çok zalim ve çok cahil olduğu halde onu yüklendi.

We offered the trust to the heavens, and the earth, and the mountains, but they refused to bear it, and were afraid of it, and the human carried it. Surely, he is a harmdoer, and ignorant.

Verily, We did offer the trust of compliance to the heavens, and the earth, and the mountains and they, being fearful, breach not what is entrusted upon them. Yet man, with his free will, is the only one who breaches this trust of compliance. For, verily, he wrongs himself without knowing it. (Haml = Accept or bear and = Betray the trust – Like Haram = Forbiddingly bad and = Sacred).

We have offered the responsibility (freedom of choice) to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they refused to bear it, and were afraid of it. But the human being accepted it; he was transgressing, ignorant.

Verily, we proposed to the Heavens, and to the Earth, and to the Mountains to receive the Faith, but they refused the burden, and they feared to receive it. Man undertook to bear it, but hath proved unjust, senseless!

We proposed the faith unto the heavens, and the earth, and the mountains: And they refused to undertake the same, and were afraid thereof; but man undertook it: Verily he was unjust to himself, and foolish:

Verily, WE have offered the trust of the Divine Law to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to bear it and were afraid of it. But man bore it. Indeed, he is capable of being unjust to, and neglectful of, himself.

Wir boten das vollkommene Vertrauenspfand den Himmeln und der Erde und den Bergen, doch sie weigerten sich, es zu tragen, und schreckten davor zurück. Aber der Mensch nahm es auf sich. Fürwahr, er ist sehr ungerecht, unwissend.

Мы предложили Небесам, Земле и горным Исполинам ■ Вступить с Нами в Завет о Вере. ■ Они обязывать себя Заветом отказались: ■ Страшились на себя его принять, ■ (Обуреваемы великим страхом, ■ Что сил не хватит соблюсти его). ■ Но Человек Заветом этим обязался – ■ Ведь нечестив он был и безрассуден, –

Без әманәтне күкләргә, җиргә вә тауларга йөкләдек, тәкъдим иттек Ислам шәригатен, ләкин алар кабул итмәделәр, әгәр үти алмасак, ґәзаб ирешер дип курыктылар, бу әманәтне кеше көчсез булганы хәлдә кабул итеп өстенә йөкләде, эшнең ахырын белмичә, наданлык белән зур әманәтне кабул итте дә, үти алмыйча, үзенә золым итүче булды.

ہم نے (بار) امانت کو آسمانوں اور زمین پر پیش کیا تو انہوں نے اس کے اٹھانے سے انکار کیا اور اس سے ڈر گئے۔ اور انسان نے اس کو اٹھا لیا۔ بےشک وہ ظالم اور جاہل تھا

بیشک ہم نے (اِطاعت کی) امانت آسمانوں اور زمین اور پہاڑوں پر پیش کی تو انہوں نے اس (بوجھ) کے اٹھانے سے انکار کر دیا اور اس سے ڈر گئے اور انسان نے اسے اٹھا لیا، بیشک وہ (اپنی جان پر) بڑی زیادتی کرنے والا (ادائیگئ امانت میں کوتاہی کے انجام سے) بڑا بے خبر و نادان ہے،
