إِلاَّ مَنْ خَطِفَ الْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهابٌ ثاقِبٌ

إلاّ من خطف الخطفة فأتبعه شهاب ثاقب

Illa man khatifa alkhatfata faatbaAAahu shihabun thaqibun

مگر آن شيطان که ناگهان چيزي بربايد و ناگهان شهابي ثاقب دنبالش کند

مگر كسى كه ربايشى بربايد، كه شهابى درخشان در پى اش افتد.

و اگر اهريمنى اسرارى را بربايد (موفق باستراق سمع از عالم بالا شود) تير آتشين نافذ او را تعقيب ميكند.

مگر آنکه شیطانی خبری را [دزدانه و] با سرعت برباید [و فرار کند] که در این صورت گلوله ای آتشین و شکافنده او را دنبال می کند.

مگر آن ديو سركش كه (كلام فرشته را) بربايد ربودنى پس از پى درآيد آن ديو را ستاره درخشنده (چون پاره آتش)

مگر كسى كه [از سخن بالاييان‏] يكباره استراق سمع كند، كه شهابى شكافنده از پى او مى‏تازد!

مگر آن (شيطان) كه چيزى (به استراق سمع) بربايد كه ناگاه شهاب ثاقب دنبالش كند.

مگر [ديوى‏] كه سخن فرشته‏اى را در ربايد، كه آن گاه از پى او آتشى روشن در آيد.

مگر آنكه بربايد ربودنى پس از پى درآيد شعله فروزان روشن

مگر كسى كه يكباره [خبرى‏] را بربايد. آن گاه شعله‏اى سوزاننده به دنبالش افتد

مگر آنها که در لحظه‌ای کوتاه برای استراق سمع به آسمان نزدیک شوند، که «شهاب ثاقب» آنها را تعقیب می‌کند!

مگر آن كس [از ديوان‏] كه سخنى [از سخنان فرشتگان عالم بالا] را دزدانه بربايد، پس شهابى از پى او افتد و به او رسد.

مگر آنكه بربايد ربودنى پس از پى در آيد شعله فروزان روشن

مگر آنكو بربايد ربودنى كه از پى اش رود شهابى تيز

جز آنکه کسی (از شیاطین چون خواهد از عالم بالا) خبری برباید هم او را تیر شهاب فروزان تعقیب کند.

اگر هر يك از آنها جرأت كند كه به محدوده خارجي دست يابد، با سلاح پرتابي سهمناكي ضربه مي خورد.
