وَ لَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ الأَْوَّلِينَ

و لقد ضلّ قبلهم أكثر الأوّلين

Walaqad dalla qablahum aktharu al-awwaleena

و پيش از آنها بيشتر پيشينيان گمراه شدند

و به راستى پيش از آنان، بيشترينه پيشينيان گمراه شدند.

و قبل از آنان نيز اكثر پيشينيان سخت در گمراهى بودند.

و به راستی پیش از اینان بیشتر پیشینیان گمراه شدند،

و بعزتم سوگند كه البته گمراه شدند پيش از كفار قريش بيشتر پيشينيان

و قطعاً پيش از آنها بيشتر پيشينيان به گمراهى افتادند.

و پيش از آنها اكثر پيشينيان گمراه بودند

و بيقين گمراه شدند پيش از ايشان بيشتر پيشينيان.

و بتحقيق گمراه شدند پيش از ايشان بيشتر پيشينيان

و به راستى پيش از آنان بيشتر پيشينيان گمراه شده بودند

و قبل از آنها بیشتر پیشینیان (نیز) گمراه شدند!

و هر آينه پيش از آنها بيشتر پيشينيان گمراه شدند.

و بتحقيق گمراه شدند پيش از ايشان بيشتر پيشينيان

و همانا گمراه شدند پيش از ايشان بيشتر پيشينيان

و قبل از اینان بیشتر پیشینیان هم سخت گمراه بودند.

اكثر نسل هاي گذشته هم به همين طريق گمراه شده اند.

And most of the first/beginners had been (E) misguided before them.

And indeed most of the men of old went astray before them;

Before them erred most of the ancients,

Thus, indeed, most of the people of old went astray before them,

Want het meerendeel der oude volken dwaalden vr hen.

Most of the previous generations have strayed before them.

yet before them most of the ancients went astray,

This is how, indeed, most of the people of the old had gone astray before them.

Most of the previous generations have strayed in the same manner.

Also before them the greater number of the ancients had erred.

For the greater part of the ancients erred before them.

And most of the ancient peoples had erred before them.

Und die meisten der Vorfahren waren irregegangen vor ihnen,

Поистине, еще до них ■ Так много древних заблуждалось;

Тәхкыйк әүвәлгеләрнең дә күбрәге адашкан иделәр.

اور ان سے پیشتر بہت سے لوگ بھی گمراہ ہوگئے تھے

اور درحقیقت اُن سے قبل پہلے لوگوں میں (بھی) اکثر گمراہ ہوگئے تھے،
