وَ فَدَيْناهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ

و فديناه بذبح عظيم

Wafadaynahu bithibhin AAatheemin

و او را به گوسفندي بزرگ باز خريديم

و به جاى او قربانى بزرگى را فديه پذيرفتيم.

و او را بقربانى بزرگ فدا ساختيم.

و ما اسماعیل را در برابر قربانی بزرگی [از ذبح شدن] رهانیدیم،

و فدا داديم اسماعيل را بذبيحه‏اى بزرگ (عظيم القدر)

و او را در ازاى قربانى بزرگى باز رهانيديم.

او را به ذبح بزرگى فدا داديم

و به گوسپندى بزرگ او را فدا داديم.

و فديه داديم او را بقربانى بزرگ

و [گوسفندى آماده‏] براى ذبح را بلا گردان او گردانديم

ما ذبح عظیمی را فدای او کردیم،

و او را به ذبحى- گوسفندى- بزرگ باز خريديم.

و فديه داديم او را بقربانى بزرگ

و فديه داديمش به كشتنيى بزرگ

و بر او (گوسفندی فرستاده و) ذبح بزرگی فدا ساختیم.

ما براي رهانيدن (اسماعيل) حيواني را براي قرباني جايگزين نموديم.

And We substituted him with a great slaughtered (animal).

And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. ??- a ram);

And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice,

And We ransomed him with a tremendous sacrifice, [The epithet azim («tremendous» or «mighty») renders it improbable that this sacrifice refers to nothing but the ram which Abraham subsequently found and slaughtered in Ishmael’s stead (Genesis xxii, 13). To my mind, the sacrifice spoken of here is the one repeated every year by countless believers in connection with the pilgrimage to Mecca (al-hajj), which, in itself, commemorates the experience of Abraham and Ishmael and constitutes one of the «five pillars» of Islam. (See 22:27-37, as well as 2:196-203.)]

En wij losten zijn zoon met een edel slachtoffer uit.

And We ransomed him with a great animal sacrifice.

E lo riscattammo con un sacrificio generoso.

And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. – a ram);

Мы выкупили его великой жертвой.

И Мы заменили ему [сына] на большую жертву.

And We ransomed him with a Feat sacrifice.

Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim.

And we ransomed him with a mighty victim;

Ve ona fidye olarak büyük bir kurbanlık verdik.

So, We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice,

We exchanged his life for a Momentous Sacrifice. (Please notice here the absence of the Biblical and the traditional myth of a ‹ram› sent from the heavens. Also, note that slaughtering of a sheep or goat, by no means, can be considered a Momentous Sacrifice. (14:37), (37:102).

We ransomed (Ismail) by substituting an animal sacrifice.

And we ransomed his son with a costly victim,

And We ransomed him with a noble victim.

And WE ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice.

Und Wir lösten ihn aus durch ein großes Opfer.

И искупили (сына) Мы его великой жертвой.

Без аңа Исмагыйл урынына корбан итеп бугазлар өчен җәннәтән бер зур тәкә бирдек.

اور ہم نے ایک بڑی قربانی کو ان کا فدیہ دیا

اور ہم نے ایک بہت بڑی قربانی کے ساتھ اِس کا فدیہ کر دیا،
