فَساهَمَ فَكانَ مِنَ الْمُدْحَضِينَ

فساهم فكان من المدحضين

Fasahama fakana mina almudhadeena

قرعه زدند و او در قرعه مغلوب شد

پس با آنان قرعه انداخت و او بيرون انداختنى شد.

وقتى كه (خطر غرق شدن كشتى را تهديد ميكرد، سرنشينان آن) قرعه كشيدند و قرعه بنام او اصابت كرد (و او را بدريا انداختند).

و با سرنشینان کشتی قرعه انداخت [و قرعه به نامش افتاد] و از مغلوب شدگان شد [و او را به دریا انداختند.]

و اهل كشتى قرعه زدند پس يونس گشت از مغلوبين (قرعه بنام او آمد)

پس [سرنشينان‏] با هم قرعه انداختند و [يونس‏] از باختگان شد.

قرعه زدند و او مغلوب شد

پس [به سبب تنگى جا] قرعه زدند و قرعه به نام او افتاد [و او را به دريا انداختند].

پس قرعه زد پس شد از انداخته شدگان

آن گاه با [اهل‏] كشتى قرعه انداخت و از باختگان شد

و با آنها قرعه افکند، (و قرعه به نام او افتاد و) مغلوب شد!

پس با آنها قرعه افكند و مغلوب شد- قرعه بر او افتاد-.

پس قرعه زد پس شد از انداخته شدگان

پس تير گرفت پس شد از فروافتادگان (انداختگان)

(کشتی به خطر افتاد و اهل کشتی معتقد شدند که خطا کاری در میان آنهاست، خواستند قرعه زنند تا خطا کار را به قرعه تعیین کرده و غرق کنند) یونس قرعه زد و به نام خودش افتاد و از مغلوب شدگان (و غرق شوندگان) گردید.

او سرکشي کرد و بدين ترتيب، به جمع بازندگان پيوست.

So he drew lots with (gambled) , so he was from the annulled/slipped.

He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers,

and cast lots, and was of the rebutted,

And then they cast lots, and he was the one who lost; [Lit., «he cast lots [with the mariners], and was among the losers». According to the Biblical account (The Book of Jonah i, 10 – 15), Jonah told them that he had «fled from the presence of the Lord», and that it was because of this sin of his that they all were now in danger of drowning. «And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this tempest is upon you …. So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging.»]

En zij die aan boord waren, lootten onder elkander en hij werd veroordeeld.

And he was guilty, so he became among the losers.

So he shared (with them), but was of those who are cast off.

And then drew lots and was of those rejected;

and he cast lots and was of those who lost;

Sonra kura çekti de kaybedenlerden oldu.

and cast lots, and he was among the losers (of the lots that were cast).

He had cast an arrow and missed the mark. (Untimely action.)

He rebelled and thus, he joined the losers.

And lots were cast, and he was doomed,

and those who were on board cast lots among themselves, and he was condemned:

And he cast lots with the crew of the ship and was of the losers.

Und Lose warf (mit der Schiffsmannschaft) und den kürzeren zog.

پھر (کشتی بھنور میں پھنس گئی تو) انہوں نے قرعہ ڈالا تو وہ (قرعہ میں) مغلوب ہوگئے (یعنی ان کا نام نکل آیا اور کشتی والوں نے انہیں دریا میں پھینک دیا)،
