فَلَوْ لا أَنَّهُ كانَ مِنَ الْمُسَبِّحِينَ

فلو لا أنّه كان من المسبّحين

Falawla annahu kana mina almusabbiheena

پس اگر نه از تسبيح گويان مي بود ،

و اگر از تسبيح گويان نبود،

اگر او از تسبيح گويان و ستايشگران خدا نبود.

[و در شکم ماهی به تسبیح خدا مشغول شد که] اگر او از تسبیح کنندگان نبود،

و اگر نبود يونس از تسبيح گويان

و اگر او از زمره تسبيح‏كنندگان نبود،

و اگر تسبيح نمى‏گفت

و اگر نه اين بودى كه او از تسبيح گويان بود.

پس اگر نبود اينكه او بود از تسبيح كنندگان

پس اگر نه آن است كه او از نيايشگران بود

و اگر او از تسبیح‌کنندگان نبود…

پس اگر نه اين بود كه وى از تسبيح‏گويان بود،

پس اگر نبود اينكه او بود از تسبيح كنندگان

پس اگر نبود از تسبيح گويان

و اگر او به ستایش و تسبیح خدا نپرداختی،

اگر به خاطر پناه بردن به تمركز و نيايش (خدا) نبود،

So had it not been for that he (was) from the praising/glorifying.

Had he not been of them who glorify Allah,

Now had he not been of those that glorify God,

And had he not been of those who [even in the deep darkness of their distress are able to] extol God’s limitless glory, [I.e., to remember God and to repent: see 21:87, which reveals in its very formulation the universal purport of Jonah’s story.]

En indien hij niet eene ware geweest van hen die God loven.

And had it not been that he was one of those who implored,

Se non fosse stato uno di coloro che glorificano Allah,

Had he not been of them who glorify Allah,

Если бы он не был одним из прославляющих Аллаха,

Если бы он не был из числа воздающих славословие Аллаху,

But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us),

And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah)

and had it not been that he was of those who celebrated God’s praises

Eğer tespih edenlerden olmasaydı.

and had he not been among those who exalt (Allah),

And had he not been a valiant swimmer,

If it were not that he resorted to meditation (on God),

But had he not been of those who praise Us,

And if he had not been one of those who praised God,

And had he not been of those who glorify God,

Wenn er nicht zu jenen gehört hätte, die (Gott) preisen,

И если бы (в раскаянье своем) хвалу он не воздал бы Нам,

Әгәр Йунүс «Һич юктыр Илаһә, мәгәр Син генә йә Рабби, мин Сине һәр кимчелектән пакьсең дип беләм, мин, әлбәттә, Синең рөхсәтеңнән башка китеп, үземә золым итүчеләрдән булдым», – дип әйтмәсә иде.

پھر اگر وہ (خدا کی) پاکی بیان نہ کرتے

پھر اگر وہ (اﷲ کی) تسبیح کرنے والوں میں سے نہ ہوتے،
