وَ ما مِنَّا إِلاَّ لَهُ مَقامٌ مَعْلُومٌ

و ما منّا إلاّ له مقام معلوم

Wama minna illa lahu maqamun maAAloomun

و هيچ کس از ما نيست مگر آنکه جايي معين دارد

[و فرشتگان گويند] هيچ كس از ما نيست مگر آنكه پايگاهى معين دارد.

از ما (فرشتگان) هيچ فرشته‏اى نيست كه او را مقامى معلوم (و شغلى معين) نباشد.

و هیچ یک از ما فرشتگان نیست مگر اینکه برای او مقامی معین است.

و نيست از ما هيچ كس مگر او را مقاميست دانسته شده

و هيچ يك از ما [فرشتگان‏] نيست مگر [اينكه‏] براى او [مقام و] مرتبه‏اى معيّن است.

و هيچ كس از ما نيست مگر آن كه مقام معلومى دارد.

و هيچكس از ما [فرشتگان‏] نيست مگر اينكه او را مقامى معلوم است.

و نيست از ما مگر كه او راست مقامى معين

[فرشتگان گفتند] و كسى از ما نيست مگر آنكه جايگاهى معيّن دارد

و هیچ یک از ما نیست جز آنکه مقام معلومی دارد؛

و از ما [فرشتگان‏] هيچ كس نيست مگر او را جايگاهى است معلوم.

و نيست از ما مگر كه او راست مقامى معين

و نيست از ما مگر او را است پايگاهى دانسته

(ای رسول ما، مشرکان را بگو که فرشتگان می‌گویند) هیچ کس از ما فرشتگان نیست جز آنکه او را (در بندگی حق) مقامی معین است.

هر يك از ما وظيفه ويژه اي داريم.

(The angels say): «And none for Us except for him (is) a known place and time/position/status .»

There is not one of us (angels) but has his known place (or position);

None of us is there, but has a known station;

[All forces of nature praise God and say:] [The metaphorical «saying» that follows is in tune with many other Quranic passages which speak of even inanimate objects as «praising God», e.g., «The seven heavens extol His limitless glory, and the earth, and all that they contain»

Er is niemand van ons, of hij heeft een bestemde plaats.

Every one of us has a destined place.

«Non c’è nessuno di noi che non abbia un posto stabilito.

There is not one of us (angels) but has his known place (or position);

Ангелы сказали: «У каждого из нас есть известное место.

[Ангелы сказали]: «Нет среди нас такого, кому не было бы предопределено места.

And there is none of us but has an assigned place,

There is not one of us but hath his known position.

there is none amongst us but has his appointed place, and,

Bizim, istisnasız herbirimizin bilinen bir makamı vardır.

(Gabriel said to the Prophet): ‹Each of us has a known place.

The sincere servants say, «Each one of us has an assignment.

Each one of us has a specific job.

And verily each one of us hath his appointed place,

There is none of us, but hath an appointed place:

They say, `There is not one of us but has known a station;

Da ist keiner unter uns, der nicht seinen zugewiesenen Platz hätte.

И нет ни одного из нас ■ Без места, что назначено ему,

Җәбраил фәрештә әйтте: «Безнең арабызда фәрештәләрнең һәрберсенә билгеләнгән гыйбадәт урыны бардыр.

اور (فرشتے کہتے ہیں کہ) ہم میں سے ہر ایک کا ایک مقام مقرر ہے

اور (فرشتے کہتے ہیں:) ہم میں سے بھی ہر ایک کا مقام مقرر ہے،
