أَ جَعَلَ الآْلِهَةَ إِلهاً واحِداً إِنَّ هذا لَشَيْ‏ءٌ عُجابٌ

أ جعل الآلهة إلها واحدا إنّ هذا لشي‏ء عجاب

AjaAAala al-alihata ilahan wahidan inna hatha lashay-on AAujabun

آيا همه خدايان را يک خدا گردانيده است ؟ و اين چيزي شگفت است

آيا به جاى همه خدايان به خداى يگانه اى دعوت مى كند; اين بس امر عجيبى است.

و چندين معبود ما را منحصر بخداى واحد نموده واقعا اين چيزى تعجب آوريست.

آیا [محمّد] معبودان [گوناگون] را معبودی یگانه قرار داده است؟ به راستی [که منحصر کردن معبودان در یک معبود] چیزی بسیار شگفت است.

آيا گردانيد محمد ص خدايان را خداى يكتا البته اين (كه وى گويد) چيزى بسيار عجيب است

آيا خدايان [متعدد] را خداى واحدى قرار داده؟ اين واقعاً چيز عجيبى است.»

آيا همه معبودها را يك معبود كرده است؟ واقعا عجيب است.»

آيا [او] معبودان [بسيار] را يك معبود كرد؟ حقا كه اين چيزى شگفت است.

آيا گردانيد الهان را الهى واحد بدرستيكه اين هر آينه چيزى است عجيب

آيا [همه‏] معبودان را يك معبود قرار داده است؟ بى گمان اين چيزى شگفت است

آیا او بجای اینهمه خدایان، خدای واحدی قرار داده؟! این براستی چیز عجیبی است!»

آيا خدايان را خدايى يگانه گردانيده؟! هر آينه اين چيزى سخت شگفت است.

آيا گردانيد الهان را الهى واحد بدرستى كه اين هر آينه چيزى است عجيب

آيا گردانيده است خدايان را يك خدا همانا اين است چيزى شگفت

آیا او چندین خدای ما را منحصر به یک خدا کرده (و به معبود یگانه دعوت می‌کند) ؟ این بسیار تعجب آور و حیرت انگیز است.

آيا او خدايان را به يك خدا مبدل كرد؟ اين بسيار عجيب است.

Did he make the gods one god? That (E) that (is an) astounding/surprising thing (E).

«Has he made the aliha (gods) (all) into One Ilah (God – Allah). Verily, this is a curious thing!»

What, has he made the gods One God? This is indeed a marvellous thing.›

Does he claim that all the deities are [but] one God? Verily, a most strange thing is this!» [Divorced from its purely historical background, this criticism acquires a timeless significance, and may be thus paraphrased: «Does he claim that all creative powers and qualities are inherent exclusively in what he conceives as `one God›?» – a paraphrase which illustrates the tendency of many people to attribute a decisive influence on human life – and, hence, a quasi-divine status – to a variety of fortuitous phenomena or circumstances (like wealth, «luck», social position, etc.) rather than to acknowledge the overwhelming evidence, in all observable nature, of God’s unique existence.]

Verklaart hij dat de goden n God zijn? Waarlijk dit is eene zonderlinge zaak.

What! makes he the gods a single Allah? A strange thing is this, to be sure!

Maketh he the gods One Allah? Lo! that is an astounding thing.

What! does he make the gods to be one God? verily, this is a wondrous thing.

«İlahları bir tek tanrı mı yapmış? Bu, gerçekten hayret edilecek bir şey!»

What, has he made the gods One God? This is indeed a wondrous thing. ‹

Does he blend all the gods into One God? Behold, this is a thing mind-boggling!»

«Did he make the gods into one god? This is really strange.»

Maketh he the gods to be but one god? A strange thing forsooth is this!»

Doth he affirm the gods to be but one God? Surely this is a wonderful thing.

`What ! has he made all the gods into one God ? This is, indeed, an astounding thing.›

Macht er die Götter zu einem einzigen Gott? Dies ist fürwahr ein wunderbarlich Ding.»

Ужель он обратил богов всех в одного? ■ Сие, поистине, диковинная вещь!»

Ул безнең күп Илаһәләребезне бетереп, бер генә Аллаһуга гыйбадәт кылырга әмер итәме? Аның бу эше шиксез ґәҗәб эштер.»

کیا اس نے اتنے معبودوں کی جگہ ایک ہی معبود بنا دیا۔ یہ تو بڑی عجیب بات ہے

کیا اس نے سب معبودوں کو ایک ہی معبود بنا رکھا ہے؟ بے شک یہ تو بڑی ہی عجیب بات ہے،
