كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَ عادٌ وَ فِرْعَوْنُ ذُو الأَْوْتادِ

كذّبت قبلهم قوم نوح و عاد و فرعون ذو الأوتاد

Kaththabat qablahum qawmu noohin waAAadun wafirAAawnu thoo al-awtadi

پيش از، آنها قوم نوح و عاد و فرعون ، که مردم را به چهار ميخ مي کشيد ،پيامبران را تکذيب مي کردند

پيش از آنان قوم نوح و عاد و فرعون صاحب سپاه، تكذيب [پيامبران ر] پيشه كردند.

قبل از اينها قوم نوح و عاد و فرعون كه صاحب قدرت بودند، پيامبران خدا را تكذيب كردند.

پیش از اینان نیز قوم نوح و عاد و فرعون که از تمام ابزار حاکمیت برخوردار بودند [پیامبران را] انکار کردند؛

پس تكذيب كردند پيش از مشركان قوم نوح و عاد و فرعون دارنده ميخها

پيش از ايشان قوم نوح و عاد و فرعونِ صاحب [عمارت و] خرگاهها تكذيب كردند.

قبل از آنها قوم نوح و عاد و فرعون سپاهدار به تكذيب برخاستند

پيش از آنها قوم نوح و عاد و فرعون، كه خداوندان نيرو بودند، [پيامبران خود را] تكذيب كردند.

تكذيب كردند پيش از ايشان قوم نوح و عاد و فرعون صاحب ميخها

پيش از آنان قوم نوح و عاد و فرعون صاحب سپاه [نيز پيامبران را] دروغزن انگاشتند

پیش از آنان قوم نوح و عاد و فرعون صاحب قدرت (پیامبران ما را) تکذیب کردند!

پيش از آنها قوم نوح و عاد و فرعون، خداوند ميخها، نيز تكذيب كردند،

تكذيب كردند پيش از ايشان قوم نوح و عاد و فرعون صاحب ميخها

تكذيب كردند پيش از ايشان قوم نوح و عاد و فرعون دارنده ستونها (يا ميخها)

پیش از این مشرکان هم قوم نوح و طایفه عاد (قوم هود) و فرعون (و فرعونیان) صاحب قدرت نیز تکذیب (پیغمبران خدا) کردند.

پيش از آنها قوم نوح، عاد و فرعون قدرتمند نيز ايمان نياوردند.

Noah’s, and Aad’s, and Pharaoh’s nation, (owner) of the stakes/pegs/nails denied/falsified before them.

Before them (were many who) belied Messengers, the people of Nooh (Noah); and Ad; and Firaun (Pharaoh) the man of stakes (with which he used to punish the people),

Cried lies before them the people of Noah, and Ad, and Pharaoh, he of the tent-pegs,

To the truth gave the lie aforetime [Lit., «before them», i.e., before the people who opposed or oppose Muhammad’s message.] Noah’s people, and [the tribe of] Ad, and Pharaoh of the [many] tent-poles, [In classical Arabic, this ancient bedouin term is used idiomatically as a metonym for «mighty dominion» or «firmness of power» (Zamakhshari). The number of poles supporting a bedouin tent is determined by its size, and the latter has always depended on the status and power of its owner: thus, a mighty chieftain is often alluded to as «he of many tent-poles».]

Het volk van Noach, de stam van Ad en Pharao, de bezitter der staken beschuldigden, voor hen, de profeten van bedrog.

Disbelieving before them were the people of Noah, ‹Aad, and Pharaoh with the planks.

Prima di loro accusarono di menzogna [gli Inviati] il popolo di Noè, gli ‹Âd e Faraone, il Signore dei pali,

Before them (were many who) belied Messengers, the people of Nooh (Noah); and Ad; and Firaun (Pharaoh) the man of stakes (with which he used to punish the people),

До них посланников сочли лжецами народ Нуха (Ноя), адиты и Фараон, владыка кольев,

Задолго до них отвергли [посланников] народ Нуха, ‹адиты, могущественный Фир’аун,

The people of Nuh and Ad, and Firon, the lord of spikes, rejected (messengers) before them.

The folk of Noah before them denied (their messenger) and (so did the tribe of) A’ad, and Pharaoh firmly planted,

Before them did Noah’s people, and ‹Ad, and Pharaoh of the stakes call the apostles liars;

Onlardan önce Nûh kavmi ve Âd da yalanlamıştı. Kazıklar sahibi Firavun da…

Before them the nations of Noah, Aad and Pharaoh, and he of the tentpegs belied,

And before them denied the Truth, the people of Noah, Aad and Pharaoh of the firm stakes. (‹Zil-awtad› could indicate ‹the lord of the Pyramids›).

Disbelieving before them were the people of Noah, `Aad, and the mighty Pharaoh.

Before them the people of Noah and Ad and Pharaoh the impaler treated their prophets as impostors;

The people of Noah, and the tribe of Ad, and Pharaoh the contriver of the stakes,

Before them too the people of Noah, and the tribe of Ad and Pharaoh, the Lord of stakes, rejected the Messengers as liars;

Vor ihnen schon haben das Volk Noahs und die Àd und Pharao, der Herr der Pfähle, geleugnet;

Ведь и до них посланников отвергли ■ И люди Нуха, и адиты, ■ И Фараон, властитель кольев,

Болардан элек Нух вә Гад кавеме үзләренең пәйгамбәрләрен ялганга тоттылар, Фиргаун үзенә охшамаган кешеләрне тактага кадаклар белән кадаклап үтерер иде.

ان سے پہلے نوح کی قوم اور عاد اور میخوں والا فرعون (اور اس کی قوم کے لوگ) بھی جھٹلا چکے ہیں

اِن سے پہلے قومِ نوح نے اور عاد نے اور بڑی مضبوط حکومت والے (یا میخوں سے اذیّت دینے والے) فرعون نے (بھی) جھٹلایا تھا،
