هذا فَلْيَذُوقُوهُ حَمِيمٌ وَ غَسَّاقٌ

هذا فليذوقوه حميم و غسّاق

Hatha falyathooqoohu hameemun waghassaqun

بايد آب جوشان و چرک و خونابه دوزخيان را بنوشند

چنين است، آب جوش و چركابه كه بايد بچشندش.

در آنجا اجبارا (طعم) آب گرم و مخلوط را مى‏چشند.

این آب جوشان و مایع چرکین متعفّن است که باید آن را بچشند،

اين عذاب پس بچشيدش آبى جوشان و چركى گنديده است

اين جوشاب و چركاب است، بايد آن را بچشند.

آنجاست كه بايد آب جوشان و چرك و خونابه

اين آب جوشان و خونابه [شكنجه خاصّ دوزخيان است‏]، كه بايد آن را بچشند.

اينست پس بايد بچشندش آب جوشانست و چرك جراحت

اين [است عذاب‏] آب داغ و زردابه. كه بايد [طعم تلخ‏] آن را بچشند

این نوشابه «حمیم» و «غسّاق» است [= دو مایع سوزان و تیره رنگ‌] که باید از آن بچشند!

اين است آب جوشان و زرداب چركين گندآلود، پس بايد بچشند آن را،

اينست پس بايد بچشندش آب جوشانست و چرك جراحت

اين پس بچشيدش آبى جوشان و چركى گندآلود

این است (از قهر حق عذابشان) و آنجا آب گرم عفن حمیم و غسّاق‌[حمیم: آب جوشان. غسّاق: زرداب چرکین گند آلود. (م) ] را هم باید بچشند و بنوشند.

آنچه در آنجا مي چشند نوشابه هاي جهنمي و غذاي تلخ خواهد بود.

This, so they will taste/experience it hot/cold water , and cold/decayed/rotten.

This is so! Then let them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges.

All this; so let them taste it – boiling water and pus,

This, [then, for them -] so let them taste it: burning despair and ice-cold darkness

Proef dit, zal men hun zeggen; namelijk kokend water en het bedorven vocht, dat uit de lijken der verdoemden vloeit.

This is so, and let them taste a boiling drink and bitter food.

Così sarà. E allora che assaggino acqua bollente e acqua fetida

This is so! Then let them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges.

Это – кипяток и гной. Пусть же они вкушают его.

This (shall be so); so let them taste it, boiling and intensely cold (drink).

Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it,

This,- so let them taste it!- hot water, and pus,

İşte burada! Hadi, tatsınlar onu: Kaynar su, kokuşmuş irin.

All of this; so let them taste it, boiling water and pus,

This, then, – so let them taste it – the drink of burning distress and ice-cold wind. (Distress they caused others and insensitivity they showed toward oppression and injustice (78:25)).

What they taste therein will be hellish drinks and bitter food.

Even so. Let them then taste it – boiling water and gore,

This let them taste, to wit, scalding water, and corruption flowing from the bodies of the damned,

This is what they will have. So let them taste it – a boiling fluid, and an intensely cold and stinking drink.

Dies ist (für die Ungläubigen). Mögen sie es denn kosten: eine siedende Flüssigkeit und einen übelriechenden Trank, fürchterlich kalt,
