ما كانَ لِي مِنْ عِلْمٍ بِالْمَلإَِ الأَْعْلى إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ

ما كان لي من علم بالملإ الأعلى إذ يختصمون

Ma kana liya min AAilmin bialmala-i al-aAAla ith yakhtasimoona

هنگامي که با يکديگر جدال مي کردند من خبري از ساکنان عالم بالا نداشتم ،

مرا هيچ آگاهى از ملاء اعلى نيست، آنگاه كه [فرشتگان] مجادله كردند.

من هيچ اطلاعى از گفتگوى فرشتگان عالم بالا (در مورد خلقت آدم) نداشتم.

من از ملأ اعلی هنگامی که [درباره آفرینش آدم] می ادله می کردند، هیچ خبری ندارم.

نبود مرا هيچ دانشى به گروهى برتر (به فرشتگان) آنگه كه (در باره آدم) گفتگو مى‏كردند

مرا در باره ملاء اعلى هيچ دانشى نبود آنگاه كه مجادله مى‏كردند.

هنگامى كه ساكنان عالم بالا با يكديگر جدال مى‏كردند، من از آن بى‏خبر بودم.

مرا هيچ دانشى به گروه فرشتگان نبود آن گاه كه [در باب آفرينش بشر] پيكار مى‏كردند.

نبود مرا هيچ علمى به گروه عالم بالا آنگاه كه گفتگو كنند

من به گروه بلند قدر [فرشتگان‏] چون با همديگر پرسش و پاسخ مى‏كنند، علمى ندارم

من از ملأ اعلی (و فرشتگان عالم بالا) به هنگامی که (درباره آفرینش آدم) مخاصمه می‌کردند خبر ندارم!

مرا هيچ دانشى به آن گروه برين- فرشتگان- نبود آنگاه كه با يكديگر گفت‏وگو مى‏كردند- در باره آفرينش آدم-.

نبود مرا هيچ علمى به گروه عالم بالا آنگاه كه گفتگو كنند

نيست مرا دانائى به گروه بالا گاهى كه مى ستيزند

مرا بر فرشتگان عالم بالا که (در قضیّه خلق آدم یا غیر آن) خصومت و گفتگو داشتند علمی (پیش از وحی خدا) نبود.

من پيش از اين درباره نزاعي كه در جامعه بالا درگرفت، هيچ دانشي نداشتم.

(There) was not from knowledge to me with the group/assembly/nobles, the highest/mightiest when they dispute/controvert/argue.

«I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam).

I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed.

[Say, O Muhammad:] «No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man], [For the allegorical contention of the angels («the host on high») against the creation of man, see 2:30 ff. and the corresponding notes. The allegory of man’s creation, of God’s command to the angels to «prostrate themselves» before the new creature, and of Iblis› refusal to do so appears in the Quran six times (2:30-34, 7:11 ff., 15:28-44, 17:61-65, 18:50, and 38:69-85), each time with an accent on a different aspect of this allegory. In the present instance (which is undoubtedly the earliest in the chronology of revelation) it is connected with the statement, in 2:31, that God «imparted unto Adam the names of all things», i.e., endowed man with the faculty of conceptual thinking (see note on 2:31) and, thus, with the ability to discern between what is true and what false. Since he possesses this faculty, man has no excuse for not realizing God’s existence and oneness – the «message tremendous» referred to in the preceding passage.]

Ik had geene kennis van de verheven vorsten, toen zij omtrent de schepping van den mensch twistten.

"I had no knowledge of the command up high, that they had quarrelled."

Non avevo nessuna conoscenza della discussione del supremo consesso ;

"I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam).

У меня не было знания о том, как препирались в высшем сонме.

Мне ничего не ведомо о высшем сонме , когда ангелы препирались [с Аллахом].

I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended:

I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed;

I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended.

«Onlar tartışırlarken, o yüce konsey hakkında benim hiçbir bilgim yoktu.»

I had no knowledge of the High Assembly’s dispute.

Say! «I had no knowledge of the top leaders of the past, and of their disputations.

«I had no knowledge previously, about the feud in the High Society.

Yet had I no knowledge of what passed among the celestial chiefs when they disputed,

I had no knowledge of the exalted princes, when they disputed concerning the creation of man:

`I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they discussed the matter among themselves,

Ich hatte keine Kunde von den erhabenen Engeln, da sie es untereinander beredeten;

И о Собрании Верховном, ■ Где споры меж собой они ведут, ■ Нет у меня познанья никакого.

Фәрештәләрнең Адәм г-м хакында низагълашканнарын белү миңа лязем булмады, мәгәр вәхий аркылы гына белдем.

مجھ کو اوپر کی مجلس (والوں) کا جب وہ جھگڑتے تھے کچھ بھی علم نہ تھا

مجھے تو (اَزخود) عالمِ بالا کی جماعتِ (ملائکہ) کی کوئی خبر نہ تھی جب وہ (تخلیقِ آدم کے بارے میں) بحث و تمحیص کر رہے تھے،
